The MVS Chapter 10

“No way, did I get the experience from reading that fantasy book?”

Quinn immediately had to test it, after reading several different books on abilities, no one gave him the experience but for some reason this book did. Quinn then immediately raised another fantasy story, one of which was about the dragon this time titled “Reincarnation into a human?” .

He did the same as before and skimmed through most of it but made sure to read the important parts, then when he closed the book there was no reaction. This is of course expected.

Then Quinn wanted to test something else, she picked up another book that was also about Vampires and did the same. When he closed his book despite the same thing happening, the system did not react at all.

In the end, Quinn theorized that after reading all the books, she gained so much knowledge about abilities that the system had rewarded her for it. Maybe the system just gave a delayed message.

He did not believe that the book about Vampires was somehow related to his system. Well, he doesn't want to believe it.

When Quinn finished checking something in the library, she realized that Vorden had disappeared from the table and was no longer in the library.

“Hah, she must be bored and go somewhere else?”

Quinn looked out the window and saw the sun start to set. He had been in the library for a total of six hours so far and time had passed. Then when Quinn was just about to leave, she received another message from the system.

[ Ding!! Daily quests have been completed ]

[Switch direct sunlight for 8 hours ]

[5 Exp has been granted ]

[20/100 Exp]

Quinn finally completes her second daily mission. The commute from school takes about 2 hours and with time spent indoors and in the library, Quinn can accomplish tasks easily.

Every time Quinn received the announcement, she was satisfied to see the number approaching 100. He could not wait to see what would happen once he reached the goal.

The best guess is to level up. After all, the system even stated that he could not use the features of his shop until he had at least reached level 10.

The only thing Quinn wanted right now was a faster way to level up. With just two daily missions a day, it would take days until Quinn reached level two.

Right now though there was not much he could do other than live his daily life as usual. The moment Quinn left the library, she decided to go to the battle arena, there was a theory she wanted to test.

But as he walked through the school hallway, he could see a child being pushed against a wall by another student. The boy on the wall looked like he had been hit several times and had a mark on his face.

“So this has started,” thought Quinn.

Quinn managed to catch a glimpse of the boy's watch and saw that the number on it signified it was 1.2 power levels. Quinn was quite surprised by this because the person doing the bullying itself was quite weak which was a rare occurrence.

The only people he could bully were people who had a level of strength like Quinn or Peter. It was then that Quinn suddenly realized who was standing in front of the wall. It was peter. Quinn did not recognize him at first as his face turned the other way.

Of course, Quinn also wanted to test his current strength and he had found the perfect marmot. The student in front of him was only at the 1.2 strength level so there was a high chance he could win.

The disciple raised his fist again to punch the peter again.

“You think you can hit me like that and apologize!” He shouted while swinging his fist.

Then as Quinn walked past him, he pretended to fall and bumped into the disciple, causing him to lose his balance and miss.

“Quinn?” Peter said, looking up.

“Sial , who dares to hit me ?” The student said as he looked at who had just pushed him.

The student then immediately looks at Quinn's watch and suddenly his trust in it grows.

“What does trash level 1 do here ?”

“I was waiting to see how long it would take someone like you to show up. I think I lost a bet with myself. I thought it would take at least a few days.”

“And what will you do?”

Peter started to feel a little worried about Quinn. He knew at the testing site that Quinn had no abilities while the students he faced had them. Peter thinks they might have a chance if the two of them fight together but Peter, in the end, is too scared.

He has been hurt all his life and does not want to be hurt again. This is how the world works today. The people at the top with the strongest strength oppressed the weaker ones and in turn, they oppressed the even weaker ones.

It was the first time that the student had met someone weaker than him and suddenly all the pain he was in, he wanted others to feel it as well. That way he didn't feel like he was at the bottom of the food chain.

Quinn then noticed that both of the students' hands were stuck behind his back as if he was preparing something and the next thing that happened confirmed his thoughts.

[Combining battle mode ]

[Ding !! A new mission has been given ]

[First fight, level 1 strength. 2 ]

[Winning the fight to get 50 Exp]

Suddenly, Quinn grinned widely on his face. This is how he leveled up faster.
