The MVS Chapter 35

Inside one of the dorm rooms, Peter waits patiently inside until either Vorden or Quinn return. Normally, he would go with Vorden but the way Vorden acted earlier, made him rethink.

Even if Vorden was worried about Quinn, it made no sense for him to attack someone once they opened the door. It was irrational and not only that but there was something attached to it back then. The fact that Vorden says that Vorden is not his name.

Peter wasn't quite sure what he meant by that. As Peter was busy worrying about the others, there was suddenly a knock at the door.

“Have they returned?” Peter said as he opened the door.

When he opened the door, Peter immediately tried to close it but a hand came out and held the door open.

“It looks like he's not here?” Momo looked around the room.

It was Momo who was at the doorstep and behind him, she had two other second-year students. Peter doesn't have a good feeling about this. He remembered the last time they met and how he had warned Vorden. Not only that, but one of the second-year students standing behind Momo, Peter also recognizes.

When Vorden was taken to the meeting hall, one of the second-year students stood outside as a guard and did not allow Peter to pass through.

“Well, since you're the only one here, why don't you come with us.” Momo said, “We have some plans and we think you might be the right person to help us.”

Peter felt he had no choice but to listen. Momo is a level six user. He was stronger than his first years at the moment and he knew if he refused, he would become a target. Before Vorden could help him but not fight these people, they were too strong.

Back on the school rooftop, Loop has just arrived to see her friend being carried by a creature that looks like a humanoid creature. Loop and Fei had agreed to meet on the rooftop to discuss about what combat class they should change, now that he and Brandon had been expelled.

When Loop reached the roof, he was surprised to see his friend lying there covered in blood. It was dark so it was hard to see clearly but when the creature held Fei in its arms and bit her neck, she could see glowing red eyes.

The circular mind instantly thought that it was some kind of monster but that was when he realized that the so-called monsters, were wearing the same school uniform as them.

An object began to grow from Loop's body. It was a long, thin piece of white bone that was the same size as a small sword. He pulled it out and threw it straight at Quinn.

The flying sword bone flew straight towards Quinn but he dropped it with his hand. Almost right after a piece of bone approached him and behind him was a Loop running towards him.

In both hands of the loop, he held two white bone swords and swung them towards Quinn. However, Quinn managed to grab those two bone swords and stop them in place. When Quinn tried to use her power to break bones surprisingly, nothing happened.

It was because of the difference in ability levels. Loops are level three ability users. The special substance he could create from his body was stronger than an elementary-level beast weapon.

As the two were held in place, Quinn realized his strength was greater and began to push the Loop backwards. As Quinn began to push Loop backwards, he quickly took a deep breath and exhaled it, straight after, white bone spikes appearing all over his body.

The bone spikes had managed to pierce through Quinn's body in several different places, but fortunately he was able to avoid the blow on his head and his hands were protected by gloves.

It was a powerful attack and had severely injured Quinn. The loop pulled the bone spikes into his body and was ready for the same attack again. As he took a breath, he could see Quinn rubbing her hands like claws. The loop ducked down and instead of hitting it, the attack continued to pass and the red line finally disappeared.

“Let's see what you're hiding behind that mask,” Loop said as she stabbed one of the bone swords into Quinn's leg and then raised another sword to her face.

However, Quinn decided to use all her strength to pull her foot from the sword. The bone sword stuck in his leg had ripped off his skin and tore off his shoes, his legs were now in a mess but at least he was free.

Doing his best to ignore the pain Quinn jumped back a few feet to make the distance between himself and the Loop.

This is bad, Loop not only has strong abilities but unlike the ones he faced before, Loop is a good fighter. Quinn's careless skills would not save him. Naturally, he had more strength than his opponent but it was meaningless if he could not hit him.

Quinn had used the rest of her blood bank to heal herself. With this, he would be able to bridge the gap in skills. As long as Quinn did not deal a fatal blow to his head, he was confident the system would heal him in time.

This time as Quinn rushed forward, he no longer used his skill, he took out a blood swipe after the blood swipe swung his hand out.

He had thrown a total of six blood swipes in a row. They come out fast and all the Loop can do is hang on to the bones. The first few attacks had been blocked but the Loop could feel how powerful the attack was.

After defending against the first six attacks, Loop thought he was done but the six Blood swipes came straight after him and his Bone sword could no longer hold him back and ended up breaking.

[50 milliliters of blood left in the blood bank]

Seeing Quinn continue to run forward after he and his sword bones broke, there was only one thing the Loop could do.

He took another deep breath and just when Quinn was close enough, he exploded, making bone spikes appear all over his body.

However, Quinn did not slow down and continued to run straight into the bone spikes that pierced through several parts of his body, at the same time he shot out a punch as powerful as he could to make the Loop fly backwards. Then to follow it up Quinn released another barrage of blood friction.

[40 milliliters of blood left in the blood bank]

As each scraping of blood reached Loop's body, he stood on the ground strengthening his body with bones but before long he could no longer accept the punishment anymore and fell to the ground.

The fight was much more difficult than Quinn had expected. The only reason why he could be careless like him, was because of his blood bank. Quinn hated to think about how he would fight if he didn't have the skills.

Quinn then looked back at Fei who was lying on the ground. It seemed like after being bitten by him, his target would stay asleep for some time, which was a good thing but it was time for him to party with a new person.

Quinn walked over to Loop's body and used his Inspection skill.
