My Vampire System

My Vampire System
The MVS Chapter 23

Layla grew up throughout her life reading fantasy stories and comics about all sorts of things. Before the whole war started, his father used to work as a writer, so his house was filled with books and stories and his favorite was always about vampires.

He likes everything about them, how they should keep their identity secret to the world, the superpowers they have, super speed and the fact that they can live almost forever.

When an Ability is manifested into the world, it makes a fantasy story a thing of the past. Many people read stories because they are fantasies. It allowed them to imagine doing something that they could never do but now that humans really had special powers, what was the point?

However, the love for Vampires never goes out for Layla, only growing. If the ability comes out then it means somewhere outside maybe their vampire as well. When she saw Quinn's actions, she had already convinced herself that she was a vampire.

Quinn was right when she thought a normal person would not come to the same conclusion but that was because Layla was not a normal person.

Layla then suddenly got up from her chair and started kneeling at Quinn. The students in the room though could not hear their conversation, could not help but look at them.

“Please, I will do anything for you,” Layla said.

“Alright, I understand, please get up,” said Quinn.

The two of them sat in their seats again, before Quinn started talking, she let out a long sigh, thinking of how she would explain this to him.

“Not as you think,” said Quinn, “I am not a vampire, I became like this from the book Ability.”

The smile on Layal's face disappeared.

“You know what it means right?” Quinn asked.

Layla nodded. Quinn basically told her that there was no way she would give him this ability. The human body can only activate one ability. When studying an ability, that gene mutates in your body, but once your gene has mutated, they can no longer change or add a second mutation.

Because Layla already has the ability of telekinesis, meaning Layla can not learn the second ability.

“Then why are you hiding this from the academy, why are you telling them that you have no ability. If you get this from the ability book, you can't be the real one?”

“Have you heard about this kind of ability?” Quinn asked.

Layla thought for a moment and realized there was nothing like it. There was never a record of an ability that required one to drink blood.

“But if you tell the school that you got it from an ability book, a book that isn't even listed yet and you're not a real book, you can make a lot of money selling that book!” Layla said excitedly.

“I wish it was true, but I can't do it either,” Quinn explains. “When I learned his abilities, the book simply vanished.”

Layla was debating whether Quinn was telling the truth or not but she had no choice but to believe it. That was the only explanation for why Quinn had so persistently hidden her ability. Ability books do not just disappear, but also books They can be inherited for others to learn.

They would never believe it if he said he got it from the ability book and the book disappeared.

Quinn then proceeded to tell Layla about everything that had happened all along. About how his ability is a game, like a system and it gives him a strange quest and he can unlock skills. It was unlike the Vampire stories Layla used to read but at the same time, it seemed like her system was applying the same rules.

“Alright, I'll keep this a secret but only on one condition. I want you to help you.” Layla. “Obviously you don't know much about this, so much so that you got out of control and bit my neck. We can't let you go around school biting people. They'll take you away in a moment. If you need to party with someone, then party with me. “Kata Layla puts her hand on herself.

Quinn began to think about the situation, making Layla a helper was a huge advantage. Quinn himself wanted to test a lot about the system and here he had someone who offered help for free.

And it really felt like Layla was telling the truth. Not only that, Layla seems to know more about vampires than herself. Maybe he could even help her in her research.

“That's the deal,” Quinn said as the two of them shook hands.

Layla is happy that Quinn accepted. The truth is Layla still hasn't given up on the idea of being a Vampire. Unlike Quinn, Layla wasn't too sure that Quinn had the ability from the start. An ability is usually a certain set of skills but Quinn has completely changed as if he is no longer human.

“Alright, the first one is the first, you need to take a little bit of my blood.” Layla said, “That way if you get hungry again, you can drink some.

Layla then lowered her clothes slightly and began to show her neck towards Quinn.

“What do you think, we can't do it here, in front of the library and I won't just bite your neck.”

As the two continued to talk and chat about things in the library about what to do next.

Vorden had entered the library and could see Quinn talking to Layla, the two chatting and smiling.

“So you've forgotten me so soon huh,” said Vorden, “You're just like all of them, I'll show you what it means to betray me Quinn. If people are going to call me a monster, then I might as well accept it and become one. “

**Will Quinn and Vorden's friendship be cut off or not ?
