Chapter 9. Horrible Thing

Anne panicked when she found out that Abbey heard and recognized her voice. As soon as possible Van hugged, kissed his forehead, and calmed him.

"You don't worry because Abbey wouldn't dare say that to anyone. I've known Abbey for a long time." Van tightened his embrace.

Last night the plan was to go abroad, but Van appealed to go to the hotel. Then, enjoying a hot night together made Anne forget herself. Van first seduced her and first slept with her.

Anne always loved Thanos without thinking about other men. However, Van instead offers the enjoyment of the world with the frills of luxury jewelry gifts. Apparently Anne was glaring and got into Van's seduction.

"What if Thanos divorces me? I love him so much, van."

"Then open your heart to me, Anne. I can accept you as you are and whenever." Van Promise.

"What about Helen? He must be mad to know we betrayed him."

"Alright, Anne. Forgetit. You better pretend to come home from abroad tomorrow. Stay here last night again. I'll be home soon."

Helen's feelings were not wrong. When he got home, he couldn't sleep. Tried to send a message to her husband and hoped the man would answer immediately, but there was no reply until Helen fell asleep in the living room.

This morning he had interrogated the servants and it turned out that Van did not come home. He does not accuse Van of having a relationship with Anne, but rather wants to know what Van did last night. Where and with whom? Doesn't rule out the possibility that he went to a place of business relations, does he?

"Darling, you just got home?" hello Helen.

Van's aura looked fresher and his clothes were also not like the last one met. Helen still remembers, but does not want overthinking.

"Ah, no. I'll transfer it immediately. Good thing you reminded me," said Van then chose to go into the room before going to the office.

Meanwhile, Thanos is visibly upset when Abbey accuses Anne of cheating. It's just the Abbey's wits to avenge their past.

"If you're jealous of Anne, it's not like this, Abbey! I know that you're still hurting us, but please don't make any nonsensical stories."

"Alright, Mr. Thanos. It doesn't matter what you answer to me. Have you transferred the money?"

Thanos went into the room to get his cell phone. He handed her the phone so Abbey could type in the following account number.

"Thank you, Mr. Thanos." Apparently when Abbey received the transfer from Thanos, Van's shipment also came in. As he said this morning, that's double.

Upon his return, Rylee saw that smile for the second time. The smile that always makes Rylee feel like getting the Abbey completely.

"How's it?" ask Rylee.

"Everything can, Rylee! Is it that easy to corner someone?"

"Sometimes it's so easy, but it's also hard" Rylee said.

"Why?"

"You're the only one that's still hard to reach."

"Well, you challenged me, yeah! Do you need proof?"

"no need. So, where are you going now?"

"Let's go foya-foya!"

Rylee took Abbey to the shopping mall. They go to the boutique, watch, eat, and most recently enjoy ice cream together.

It's been a long time since Abbey has been immersed in the company so it doesn't know how to please itself. This time Rylee took her somewhere that kept her out of tension.

"Why don't you just get married, Abbey?"

"Do you think it's easy to accept a man who's not in my heart? Especially when forced to marry. It's not easy, Rylee."

Rylee licks his ice cream. Although he was young, he tried to be charismatic. Not easy indeed, but relying on its charm is also not a difficult matter.

"Are you getting married at 50?" Rylee's question was actually to quip Abbey.

"Ck, what are you talking about, Rylee? Sometimes I feel like a son of a dissident who refuses to come home for an arranged marriage."

This is how to trust a newly known man. If it had been like this, would Abbey have shouted? There was no way anyone would believe that Rylee did such a terrible thing.

"Rylee, stop! Don't do anything stupid. We can talk very well" Abbey said, trying to negotiate.

What was the fate of Abbey when her husband married her? Must be questioning about him. Therefore, as much as possible Abbey prevents Rylee from doing that before marriage.

It was up to Rylee to strip Abbey of clothes as well as herself. Abbey still tried to rebel even to the point of hitting Rylee on the head until the man complained in pain.

"No woman can escape me, Abbey!" he said before sinking his prized assets into Abbey's muffins.

Rylee did so savagely that the Abbey's tears just brushed the river.
