Chapter 55. The arrival of Eric

Frustrated by Abbey's decision, Rylee returns home from work for the first time. However, who would have thought a car stopped in front of him and forced Rylee in for no apparent reason. Although he was strong, but some of the bodyguards managed to defeat Rylee in one duel.

"Gear!" rylee cried when he saw his brother who was in the car.

"Why lonely?" ask Eric. There was no sight of his sister-in-law there.

"Abbey's working again at Van's company."

"What's? Why did you let that happen?" Eric did not accept it.

"I can't ban it, Eric. Van needs it anyway. Besides, I don't know Abbey's way of thinking right now either."

Eric shaking. "You love each other, but why does it have to be like this? You should have given him a decent home! I don't agree that your wife works!"

The usually cold Eric suddenly nagged for no reason. Maybe he was still carried away by the short love story he had experienced. It was ironic to see his own sister treat Abbey like that. Rylee should be able to unite the Abbey like Eric.

Rylee picked up the ice in the fridge. He compressed the battle scars for a moment before returning to the apartment.

"I know that, Eric. Our differences are more striking after marriage. I admit that. I can't force Abbey to stay in the apartment either."

"Consider my offer! Don't let your wife be outside for too long. Abbey is a great and wonderful woman. If you can't take care of him, I can make sure I get it from you!"

Rylee smiled. "You can't forget Abbey completely, Eric!"

Eric smiled back at his brother with a joke. "There's going to be a chance of becoming a successful third person, Rylee. I'm more worthy of being Abbey's husband than you are. If you don't change, I'll make sure Abbey leaves you slowly."

If Rylee thought her brother was serious, it was possible. However, he was convinced that Abbey loved him very much. For the rest, let the governing world bring what its relationship with the Abbey will be like.

Meanwhile, at a Van-owned company, Abbey has just finished her work. A routine he had abandoned a few months ago.

"So, have you eaten, Abbey?" asked Van who happened to stop in front of the Abbey room.

"I'll go home and eat at the apartment, Van. Why?"

"Anne invited you to dinner at our house. If you refuse, maybe next time you have time."

"I'll think about it. I have to go home now."

Meanwhile, in the apartment, Rylee prepared dinner for the three of them. Eric, Abbey, and himself. This routine is rarely done. However, hearing Eric's words, Rylee also wanted to go into the kitchen to help his wife.

"When will Abbey come back?" ask Eric.

"A few more minutes I guess. It's our first day at work and I don't know exactly when he's back."

"Good! Prepare warm water as well while she wants to take a shower. Your physique is much stronger than that pregnant woman."

Abbey meets Rylee in the dining room. Seeing her husband preparing dinner, Abbey smiled.

"I knew. You must be so tired. Go after that back when dinner arrives. I'll make you a hot drink!"

Abbey went straight into the room. He didn't want to touch Rylee before cleaning up. Like losing confidence when he has not cleaned his body.

Before long, Abbey returned in a fresher condition. She also had a bath and was wearing clothes that showed her increasingly distended stomach.

"Hey, Abbey! I went ahead of the host to enjoy my brother's hard work" Eric praised Rylee's food.

Abbey followed Eric to sit there. She was indeed pregnant, but the food on the table looked very interesting to enjoy. The aroma, the look, and the one who prepared was her husband.

"Tumben are you cooking, Rylee?" ask Abbey who just tasted a mouthful of food.

"Just want to ease my wife's burden. Remember, you can't be exhausted. Even if you work at Van's, ask permission while the man presses you. I don't know which side you're on? Van or Thanos?" rylee asked to be sure. Since their meeting with Thanos, Rylee has been thinking about his wife. It looks like Abbey is between two men in a feud.

"Wait on! What's the matter, actually?" ask Eric. Seeing her sister and sister-in-law was like keeping a secret.

"Rylee, you better not have to say anything to Eric. It's our decision and no one else should interfere!" abbey was upset with her husband.
