Chapter 41. I was upset with Eric
On the eve of the wedding, Abbey's parents, Abbey, and her two friends had already moved into the hotel. The wedding procession will take place in the hotel ballroom because Eric deliberately asked for the event to be done directly. Without pause after they are confirmed legitimate as husband and wife.
The chaos at home has already happened. Rylee refuses to come to Eric's wedding so Philo is outraged.
"What do you want, Rylee?" ask Philo.
"I just don't want to come to Eric's wedding. That's all."
"What's your excuse?"
"Papa knew the reason. Moreover, Abbey is pregnant with my son, but you still force this marriage. How can I be present when the woman I love will belong to someone else? What about my son's fate? He must have thought I was an evil and irresponsible man!"
Philo fell silent. He felt something flowing inside him. A regret, a wound, and a dilemma. Philo should have tried to understand his two sons and not forced the marriage of Eric and Abbey. Meanwhile, in a hotel room, a make up artist was preparing the Abbey in her wedding dress. He was also accompanied by his two friends who had sat sweetly and tidied makeup.

"I guess not. Maybe he will feel nauseous after remembering it" Zaylin said.
Yeah, when the divorce was rolling on the court table, Helen never came. He never knew about Van and Anne again. Perhaps it was out of disappointment to the man that he decided to block all access associated with him.
And also his relationship with Thanos. Helen felt that the man was not important to her, so she decided the same.
"Forget them! I wanted to completely forget about them" Helen said.
"Yes, okay. We don't want to ruin your happy day, Abbey" Zaylin said.
"My happy day has been broken since our engagement, Zaylin. I wish there was a miracle for me and Rylee to come together. To be honest I'm not willing to marry Eric even though I know he's very good" Abbey said.
"Then, Eric just for me" Helen joked.
They laugh. Then, after applying the three women, the make up artist said goodbye. Shortly after, Blair pressed the doorbell, and Helen opened the door.
"Tante, please come in!" hello Helen.
"thank you. Is Flo ready?"
Helen knew that Abbey's call at her house was Flo so she wasn't surprised anymore.
"Already, Aunt. Let's follow me to see it!"
The room that the Abbey currently occupied was the suite president's room. Later after officially becoming Eric's wife, the man will invite her to move to his room. Abbey is currently with her two friends.
"Wow, what a beautiful mama!" exclaim Blair.
"Mama, don't be. I'm so nervous." Abbey clasped her mother's hand.
"Mama's like you, Flo. Nervous on our wedding day. I think my mom wants to repeat that time. A few decades ago. Oh, yes, when you're ready, Papa will be here to pick you up. How's it?"
"Wait 10 minutes or 15 minutes, Mom. I feel like I want to slow down every second of time" explained Abbey bowed.
Zaylin felt sorry for Abbey. He was late for marriage, but would now marry a completely unwanted man. After all, this was not his fault either. He was just in a position he shouldn't be.
"Abbey, I think faster is better" Zaylin suggested. "Maybe Eric has come with his family."
"You really tortured me, Eric!" said Rylee.
"Don't be rude, Rylee! It's your sister's wedding. Be reasonable and professional," said Dixie.
Many guests have already arrived. Actually 5 minutes away is a wedding procession. However, considering the Abbey has yet to appear, they adjust.
"Never get away from my side!" firmly Eric.
"What do you care? You're gonna show me the Abbey? I don't know, where's your mind? You really hurt me!"
Rylee continued to argue with her brother. Dixie and Philo were already far ahead of them. Guests are waiting for a warm and friendly greeting from the host.
Meanwhile, officers from the civil records office had been preparing on the spot. Shortly after Eric and his family arrived.
"So, can you start the wedding process?" ask the officer.
"Wait for the bride" said Eric.
"alright. We only had about 10 minutes to wait. After that, we have to leave this place immediately to settle other matters in the office."
After five minutes passed, it turned out that Abbey came with her parents and accompanied by her two friends. Her wedding dress was so beautiful with veil covering her face.
The journey to the wedding is slowing down. Along with a broken heart. A tight grip on her papa's hand suggests that Abbey is not ready for her wedding this time.
Philo and Dixie were already on the side of his two sons. While waiting for the bride's path forward, they seemed to be hoping for this event to run smoothly.
Once there, Abbey was not married. He had to do some document checks.
"The bride-to-be was Abbey Florence from her parents Arthur Barnett and Blair Caroline. All the data is correct, right?" ask the officer.
Abbey nodded. After that, it was the groom's turn. Eric steps forward, while Rylee retreats in order to avoid the event that hurt him.
"Are you named Rylee Rexton?"
The sound made Rylee stop his steps. Philo and Dixie looked confused.
"Eric, what's going on? Why isn't your name called?" ask Dixie.
"Where is the groom's candidate?" ask the officer again.
Rylee doesn't understand. Shouldn't Eric's name be there? Why did the officer call his name?
"Eric, what does this mean? Don't make the mood worse!" Dixie scolds him.
"Rylee, please come back!" call Eric.
Abbey's distraught. Eric's name should be there. Why the name Rylee?
Eric could not stay in place. He soon catches up with Rylee and takes her to the front of the task. Come to think of it, maybe this is the best way for his sister. Let the parents be angry, but for Eric separating the child from his parents was a mistake.
Meanwhile, Dixie approached her two children. Looks a bit upset at Eric for making the decision unilaterally.
"What are you doing, Eric?" ask Dixie.
