Abbey's parents and her two friends had already returned with a morning flight. Abbey, Rylee, and Eric. They'll catch a midday flight. However, Abbey did not tell her two friends that they would follow along with Eric.
"Eric knows?"
"Yes, I told him. He'll come home first and meet us at the airport. The passport is at home" Rylee said.
Because last night, the couple seemed very difficult to talk.
"I'll stay there a little while. So, as much as possible, don't cause any trouble!" abbey said as she packed some of her things.
Of course the Abbey had been warning from the beginning. Her condition is pregnant. As much as possible, Abbey should take good care of her health and mind.
"For last night, I'm sorry. I'll try my hardest to make you happy."
"Yes, then, prove it!"
Abbey finished packing some of her clothes into a suitcase. After they left the hotel, the destination went straight to the airport. They didn't stop by much somewhere because the Abbey wanted it.
"The road to the airport is still smooth, Rylee. Just a little afternoon, I think it can be exhausting."
"It's only been a few days here, you've been so sorry."
"I've lived here a long time, Rylee. When I ran away from you."
Rylee may have forgotten. A few weeks ago, before the two faced the parents, Abbey had already lived here. He also rented a house to live in.
The atmosphere of the airport is like a normal day, always crowded. It did not diminish Abbey's intention to return to her old place.
"So, last night what were you talking about?" rylee asked as he sat in the airport waiting chair.
"Just talk about Van. At first, Helen hesitated. However, Zaylin and I tried to convince her that everything would be fine."
"Yes, your relationship is so close."
"Not that close, Rylee. We also had a hard time. Yeah, you know that Helen always insinuates me for things related to couples. I know he's luckier than me, but that doesn't mean I'm suffering more than he is."
The conversation stopped because Eric was near them. Abbey waved her hand when she found out about the man.
"Finally, I found you too. I thought you guys were gonna joke about this" Eric said.
"We're not going to joke about that serious matter, Eric. Oh, yeah, I guarantee that Helen will never know either. One thing my message is for you, never hurt her heart. I know because it's not easy for you." Abbey shows her little finger to promise with Eric.
"Of course, Abbey. Sorry, maybe it's a little complicated. I've never been in love before, but my meeting with you opened the door of my heart."
"Eric, don't tell me you're in love with Abbey?" Rylee.
Eric nodded. "A moment before I know you're in a relationship."
"Oh, no! Come on, brother, forget it all! Now Abbey is your sister-in-law." Rylee was ready to do something until Eric acted out of reason.
"Hey, just relax! Abbey your wife now. I wouldn't have possibly made a scandal with my own sister-in-law. Trust me, I need Helen now to make things easy."
The flight to Helen's place was slow. It felt Eric because he was hesitant to meet the woman. Just last night he left a memorable memory, but right now he's coming. Either, it's a surprise or whatever. For sure, Eric has to be the most special.
City X airport became the last landing of the plane he was aboard. After descending and passing through a series of examinations, they arrived at the airport exit.
"So where are we going to live?" ask Eric.
"Why don't you just buy an apartment?" ask Eric.
"It's not easy, Eric. I'm used to starting from zero. I also don't rely on my parents even though they have everything." Abbey glanced at Rylee.
"Just calm. I'll try to get us to live in a new apartment. I'll buy it for you" Rylee said.
Although he is not sure what he will do. However, there is no harm in writing all of that in his list of plans.
"Already, Rylee. Better think about which hotel we'll stay." Abbey pulls her suitcase and Rylee and Eric behind her.
Eric's decision is unanimous. They will stay at the hotel which will be Van's wedding reception venue. To save time and energy. Abbey is pregnant.
"When are you going to see Helen?" abbey asked as they were in front of the receptionist.
"Maybe Van's wedding day. I don't know what that guy looks like, either? Why would he cheat with another woman?" A little Eric also knows that Van is having an affair. Although he did not know what the details were, Abbey also explained them.
"Good! It's like a surprise, isn't it? Good luck!"
Intending to enter the room, it seemed that Abbey had to meet someone who was completely absent in her own shadow.
"Abbey?" said the man.
"Thanon! Why are you here?" ask Abbey.
Eric doesn't know that the man is Abbey's past. While Rylee, he was calm as if nothing had happened.
"I did come back. Oh, yes, this is Rylee."
"I already know him," replied Thanos sniffly.
"It's not like that, Thanos! He's my husband now. That this is my brother-in-law, Eric. Eric, this is Thanos. He was the man whose wife was taken over by Van. So, you can get to know each other" Abbey said.
"Hey, I'm Eric!" Eric thrust out his hand to shake Thanos.
The man was rather lazy, but in the end received Eric's handwriting.
"Hi, nice to meet you." Thanos turned his attention to the Abbey. "I'll also be present at their wedding, Abbey. I don't think it's a complicated matter."
"Yes, you have to let go. Hopefully soon find a replacement." Abbey is encouraging.
After a long thought, Thanos knew what to do. If Van took Anne, why didn't he just take Helen? Let's just say they exchanged wives. At least for Van to feel what Thanos felt before.
"Yes, you're right. After some thought, I've found a way out for this matter. I'll try to negotiate with our friend."
Abbey surprised. "meaning?"
"Yes, my point is that I'm going to try to have a relationship with Helen. I've known him a lot longer, haven't I?"
Eric and Rylee were shocked. How could the man approach Helen, while Eric had already put up a plan in advance?
"Hey, Brother, I think rethink approaching Helen! He won't be as easy as you imagine" Rylee said.
"Just relax, Rylee! I know exactly who Helen is. So, it was easy for me to approach him" Thanos said casually.
