Breaking out of the house from the presence of the mother-in-law was something of awe. Abbey is proud of that. After all, who told the woman to curb everything the Abbey wanted?
His encounter in the courtyard with Eric made the man smile knotty. Not understanding the true events, but instead let out a joke that made Abbey even more angry.
"Where are you going to run? It's just the first day of marriage. Why is it like that?" ask Eric.
"I thought you and your mama were the same species. It sucks! Better step aside or I'll–"
"Abbey, wait!"
Rylee's call made the two humans turn their heads. A young man pulls a suitcase in a nightgown. It looks funny and tickling so it makes Eric mock them again.
"Households are happening. What was? Was the first night that didn't work or something happened?" ask Eric.
"Shut up!" shouted both.
If you can choose, it feels like Rylee wants to punch his older brother in the face. Instead of helping to appease Abbey, he mocked his wife and exploded.
"Yes, okay. I'm sorry. Where are you going?" ask Eric.
Abbey can't be joked anymore. He immediately pulled his suitcase out of the courtyard towards the gate. He hopes to get a taxi there. However, it was not as easy as his shadow.
Rylee blocked Abbey's arm when she got close. His emotions really exploded, leaving Rylee overwhelmed.
"Where are you going? We'll go together. Don't be like that!"
"I just don't want to linger in that shitty house. Your mama's too involved. This can't be, it can't be."
"Okay, now calm yourself down! Where are you going in this condition? Do you want to take your parents to the hotel?"
Abbey almost forgot. It's obvious they're still there. It can't be that fast to get home. Especially after a pretty exhausting party.
"Order a plane ticket! We'll go to a place where no one forbids anything we want to do."
This is just an amazing choice. Rylee responded with pleasure. Moreover, this was an ideal imagined before. Apparently both himself and Abbey felt a frequency.
When there was a taxi passing by not far from the place, Rylee waved in the hope that the taxi was not hitchhiking.
"Ah, finally. We better take a taxi first. Are you going to the hotel or to the airport? Even if we get a ticket, it's likely tonight. Aren't you tired? Oh, or better call Zaylin. I think they're still here, aren't they? Eric's gonna give you a ticket back tomorrow. So, you can also still meet with Mama and Papa. At least to say goodbye."
"Hotel X, sir!" abbey said without waiting for Rylee's approval.
Soon Abbey sent Helen a message to wait for her. Helen and Abbey's parents are still at the hotel because later that night Eric still invites them to dinner before parting ways.
"Oh, yeah, geez! What does Eric want to show everyone?" abbey asked Rylee who was focusing on looking out the window immediately turned to look at the wife.
"What's wrong?"
"Eric asked them to come to dinner tonight. I think your mom's there too. How can I show my face?"
"Don't worry! Mama should know that you are very sensitive. Not because of you, but the pregnancy is happening. I'm right, aren't I?"
The journey to the hotel was very short. Helen and Zaylin did indeed welcome him in front of the receptionist.
"Hi, newlyweds! Why do you look so adorable? One of them was still not wearing normal clothes and the other looked like a child who ran away from her parents" Helen joked.
"Don't bother me! Oh, yeah, my mama's still here, isn't she? I'll see him."
Abbey left the suitcase to help Zaylin put into Rylee's room. The man is currently booking a room to stay overnight until tomorrow morning. It's likely that he and Abbey will get the same flight ticket as both of his friends. But, being in a different class.
"Flo, are you here, son?" greet Blair as he opens the door.
Abbey immediately embraced her mother with a very longing feeling. Years apart and then met in such a heartwarming moment.
"Take Flo in!" arthur's orders.
Blair shut the door again. He guided Abbey to sit on the sofa and then fetch some drinking water. He handed the glass of water to his daughter.
"Drink! You look so tired."
"Thank you, Mama. I haven't had breakfast."
Of course Blair was surprised. He looked at his cell phone and realized that it was past breakfast.
"Next time don't be like that! You're pregnant and shouldn't skip breakfast" Blair said.
Abbey would clearly not have told her that she ran away from her mother-in-law for something. He remained silent while watching his mother call to ask for a room service delivery food now. Luckily not so busy that a few more minutes will come.
"You're lucky. They will deliver food soon. Oh, yeah, where are you going?" ask Blair.
Arthur only sees from afar the interaction that awakens between his wife and son. They do have similarities. So, Arthur can already read that Flo must have run away from her in-laws' house. It was just that Arthur refrained from saying anything.
"Flo, where are you going?" arthur asked when he found out his wife didn't get any answers.
"I want to go to my old place, Pa. I want to live independently with Rylee."
Blair and Arthur. Rylee's plan is to take care of the company, but Arthur must respect his daughter's decision.
"Go wherever you want, but papa has conditions for you."
Abbey leaned towards her mother as if she were looking at her at her request. However, Blair seemed to shake his head in a sign that he knew nothing.
"What, Pa?" abbey asked after retreating back and leaning her body against the sofa.
"Prove that Rylee is worthy as a husband! Papa doesn't want him to disappoint our family. If that happens, you know what the consequences are?"
I think Abbey is meeting with a lawyer. His father seems to accuse Rylee of being an evil figure who is not worthy of being a life partner. More precisely downgrading Rylee's current position. Fortunately, her husband did not hear this conversation. Maybe he'll also run away like Abbey did this morning.
"Deal, I agree!" abbey is sure.
