Chapters 27. Search for Something

"Auntie apologizes for what happened a few days ago. I really don't know if you're Blair and Arthur's son."

"It's okay, Auntie. Not the wrong aunt, but it's purely my and Rylee's fault."

Abbey was silent for a moment. She knew that the woman in front of her insisted on refusing her marriage. However, after meeting and knowing that Eric was betrothed to her, why didn't Dixie protest?

"Before Aunt comes out, may I ask?" At first glance Abbey stared that Dixie was hesitant to stay in the room with her.

"certain. Just ask while I can answer."

Obviously it's not Dixie's business. He had to get out of that pavilion and stay in the hotel. Maybe it was much better than staying here and seeing Dixie's always unpleasant face on her face.

Eric had just opened his eyes when Dixie woke him up. As Flo requested, the man immediately headed to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth. After that, she changed her clothes with a t-shirt and jeans.

"It looks like he's not comfortable staying here" Dixie said before Eric exited his room.

"Isn't the pregnancy hormone always like that?" Eric learned a lot from the Internet. She had never faced a pregnant woman, but her curiosity was quite high.

"Ah, you understand much more than mama. Go!"

Eric stepped slowly towards the pavilion. The rest of the sleepiness is still felt. It's just that he didn't want to let Flo wait too long. He knocked on the door hoping not to surprise the owner of the room.

"Come in, Eric!" reply Abbey.

Eric opened the door and entered. He left the door open so that passers-by would not misunderstand him.

"What's wrong?"

"I've got here. Can you take me to the hotel? I'll stay there for a few days until my parents come."

Obviously this is quite surprising. Because this pavilion is deliberately prepared to wait for the arrival of his future father-in-law.

Walking to the front gate is a bit far away. However, after getting there a taxi passed by and Abbey stopped him.

"I'm leaving right away, yeah. I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to say goodbye to your parents."

Eric was no problem. He could understand Flo's current position. After the taxi was not seen, he immediately entered the house. He did not enter his room, but rather entered his sister's room without anyone's knowledge.

"I have to find him" Eric muttered.

He unpacked several important cabinets containing his sister's books. Then, he searched every table that had drawers in the room.

Having plenty of time made Eric calmer. He went through the room to get something. About 30 minutes later, Eric found what he was looking for.

"There's one more thing I have to steal from you, Rylee. I'm sorry brother."

Eric apologized repeatedly after tidying up the books and some maps in the room. Presumably what Eric is looking for right now might fix his relationship with Flo.

Eric came out of his sister's room with a sneak. Previously he had hidden what he was looking for into the t-shirt used today. She didn't want her mom to know that Eric had just ransacked her sister's room.
