My Inclined Baby

My Inclined Baby
Chapter 48. Rylee Dizziness

Dinner before the farewell. As planned, it was attended by all members of the Abbey family along with his two friends. Here Rylee and Abbey are also there.

"I thought you guys ran away" Eric said.

"Tomorrow we just left. Day flight. Oh, yes, tomorrow morning meet me at the hotel. Take me to the airport during the day. Don't forget to make time for me" Rylee said.

Unbeknownst to Eric, Rylee had already booked their flight ticket. Of course Eric had to bring his passport.

"Eric, we thank you for being given a banquet like this. We will miss this togetherness again" Blair said.

"Mama, Papa, take good care of yourself, yeah! Do not forget to take care of your health. Me and Rylee are gonna live in my old place." Abbey felt the meeting tonight was so short.

Of course it was a pride for the Abbey family. Moreover, the woman always wants to live independently. Oh, yes, don't forget Rylee who intends to have her own job, as a painter perhaps.

"Auntie don't worry. We'll take good care of the Abbey. We will also make sure the content is fine" Zaylin explained.

The dinner ended perfectly. Abbey's parents returned to the room. Rylee and Abbey had also caught up with them. Then Zaylin and Helen stayed.

"Zaylin, can I talk to Helen for a second?" eric asked for approval.

"Of course, Eric. I'll go back to the room. Make sure Helen gets back to our room" Zaylin said.

Although actually Helen hesitated, but Zaylin gave a code to stay seated with Eric. This is a great opportunity for his life.

"So, do you want to hear me?" ask Eric.

"Maybe."

"Yes, okay. Let's just say our meeting is not just a game. You also know my marriage failed. Yeah, I failed to marry Abbey. I'm aware that Rylee is more entitled than anyone."

Helen nodded. He understood the painful feeling of loss. However, he could not comment much either. Eric was a stranger to him.

"I think your decision was right" Helen said.

"Yes. Tomorrow you're back. I must be feeling lonely. Oh, yeah, I apologized earlier for not being able to get you to the airport. I have a meeting in the morning."

"No problem. As long as we're here, all our banquets and necessities, you've paid for everything. Thank you." Thank you."

After talking, the atmosphere seemed to be silent for a moment. Eric looked at Helen, and vice versa. As her gaze locked, Helen seemed to be enjoying Eric's beautiful eyes.

"Eric, I have to go back to my room. I think Zaylin must have been waiting."

"Wait, Helen! Before you go, I want to give you something. Let's just say this is our first meeting."

Eric took a small, red, long box from his pocket. Yes, of course tonight he's using semi-formals. Just a suit with a sweatshirt.

Helen accepted it doubtfully. It's too soon to get to know a man after his divorce with Van was decided.

"I think this is too much, Eric." Helen puts the box back in front of Eric.

"Receive, Helen! I was confused about what to buy for you. I think it fits. If you want, open it now!"

Helen refused, but she was curious. Eric was trying to convince me that receiving a gift was not a mistake.

Meanwhile, there was another fight in a room. Surely the newlyweds' room, which is the couple Rylee and Abbey.

"Rylee, you're crazy! How do you decide something without telling Eric? Think about tomorrow! What if he has an important schedule in the office? Not to mention that shitty mother-in-law will definitely ban Eric from leaving."

Rylee remained calm. It was just the Abbey's exaggerated attitude.

Abbey threw a pillow so that Rylee would not sleep in the same bed. He was still upset over the unilateral decision without conferring on Eric.

"Darling, don't torture me like this! I want to sleep in bed with you."

Rylee decided to get into bed, but a few minutes later Abbey asked him to come down again.

"Rylee, I have something to talk to you about."

Abbey remembered her father's words. It was so hard to tell this man.

"What's wrong?"

Rylee sat cross-legged beside the Abbey lying down.

"Papa gave me conditions."

Maybe Rylee forgot that the requirement to become Arthur's son-in-law was to replace the old man in the company. However, it did not seem to apply to Rylee. It's possible that Abbey accepted the offer that Rylee had to fight hard to prove that she was capable of building something from scratch.

Not only that, the possibility of staying apart during Abbey pregnancy is the way to go. In reality it was that which was dancing in Rylee's mind at the moment.

"Will your father separate us?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Rylee's eyes glared. It felt like he wanted to get out of the room and come to his in-laws room. Just yesterday they got married, today they have bad news that Arthur will separate them. It hurts and stifles the chest.

"Abbey, don't joke! What did your father say?"

Seemed worry, hopelessness, and fear of loss. It was hard for her to refrain from fighting with her brother because of their wedding plans yesterday. Apparently Eric willingly released the Abbey for her. A few hours later, they were forced to divorce.

"Prove that you deserve to be a husband!"

Rylee. However, hearing that, he had to work hard. His life is not for himself, but with his wife and children.

Fighting alone is hard. Relying on his papa company would also not be possible. Arthur must have questioned his responsibility.

"Abbey, I'm out for a second."

The look on Rylee's face showed that she was confused. However, he had to think of the right way to build a business. Painting is not the right choice.

He picked up a cigarette, stood on the balcony, then lit it. Life after marriage is much more complicated. He must think of an effort.

"Do I have to work in an office? Yes, as an ordinary employee with a salary is not too large. Painting took a long time and I had to create a studio that was used for exhibitions. It feels very complicated and needs careful planning. Especially now that I have no capital. Papa and Papa-in-law will definitely laugh at me."

How sad life is. Family wealth apparently has no impact on one's efforts starting from scratch.

"What meda?"

A voice made Rylee look over. Apparently it was Eric. Rylee thought her brother would return home after his affairs were over.

"Not come home?" ask Rylee.

"No. I saw you walk in here. That's why I'm following."

Rylee smiled. "What a coincidence. Oh, yeah, get your passports ready because we're gonna be on a midday flight to Helen's."
