Mom, Let Me Be Happy

Mom, Let Me Be Happy
Chapter 99 The Last Hugs

Not long after preparing. They're heading for Irwan's house. Dicky's heart seemed unsettled. The boy was silent a thousand languages along the way leading to the place where his mother was. Her lips were silent as if locked, there was no sound from the tiny mouth, except for just a little bit of stuffing and tears that kept flowing down her cheeks. He kept thinking of Asih, the mother who had given birth to him into the world. The mother in her blood was flowing milk and strands of affection, though not as perfect as she had hoped.

"Honey, what Dicky knows, Madam Davina feels, Asih will not be happy if you see Dicky continues to cry like this," Asih said.

The boy clasped his hands on Davina's body. At that time they sat in the back of the car seat on Santana's orders, so that Davina accompanied Dicky. Davina returned the embrace of the boy who kept crying.

"Here you go, honey, we'll be there soon. Make sure your mom doesn't see your tears, okay!" davina said, again he tried to persuade Dicky not to cry again.

They have also arrived. In a page that stretches wide and very open. They went straight to Irwan's house which is Arifin's neighbor.

Like someone who is visiting. Santana, and Davina, knocked and said hello when they were right at Irwan's door. Faintly heard, Irwan's voice spoke from within.

"Please come in, sir, Mom," said Irwan as he greeted Dicky and led him.

"Mom, sir, please wait a minute! Asih's mother is being dressed by my wife" Irwan told Santana and Davina.

"Is that the state of Asih, to change clothes he can not do it alone?" bayin Santana was wondering.

"Well, Mr. Irwan, we wait," Santana replied at last, while Davina, just nodded and smiled.

5 Minutes later. It looks like a woman has an Asih body. He is Ira, Irwan's wife. The woman patiently continued to guide Asih until she reached the living room where they all gathered.

"Mother ..," said Dicky, who could not bear to see Asih in her present state. Asih's body looks very thin without fleshy. His face was pale, there was no more light there.

"Dicky ..," called Asih, waving his limp hands like powerless.

Dicky hugged Asih. Her tears are spilling. Sobs dominated in that space. Everyone there could only bow quietly with teary eyes.

"Dicky, I'm sorry" whispered Asih softly in Dicky's ear. A voice that usually sounds loud. Now I whispered so subtly that I could barely hear clearly.

Dicky's crying voice grew louder as Asih whispered in his ear. The boy seemed unwilling to accept his mother's condition as he saw it today. "Mom, speak louder! Let's get angry at Dicky again, Mom. Don't be like this, ma'am," rummaged Dicky in his sedu.

Seen clear bubbly began to inundate the recesses of Asih's eyes. "No, son, don't cry! Dear mother Dicky," said Asih, still with a voice that almost disappeared.

Davina, also Ira, could not help but hold her eyes back from crying. The sight was heartbreaking and ripped off their feelings. It is conceivable, how painful it is to see a loved one in such a state.

Pretty long Asih, and Dicky hugged each other. It was as if the two did not want to let go of each other. The remains of the weeping still lamented Dicky with faltering breaths as they finally let each other off their hugs.

"Mas Santana," said Asih lirih. The usual annoying sound that makes the noise is now not on Asih.

Santana looked at Davina. He hinted at Davina, in order to give herself a chance, and Asih to speak. Davina understood that, she nodded her head at the sign that she gave her permission.

"Mas Santana," Asih said again.

"I'm sorry, Mas. Please take care of Dicky! Arifin can not," said Asih while hinting at the word 'can' with the movement of his hand.

"You take it easy, Asih. Me, and also my wife, Davina, will take good care of Dicky. We loved Dicky like our own son.

Asih nodded his head. She smiled at those no longer fresh lips. Then, he hinted his hand towards Davina. Asih asked for a hug from Davina. Without rejecting, Davina immediately embraced Asih which was like a bone wrapped in skin, almost like there was no meat attached to Asih's body which was originally dense and synthetic.

"I'm sorry, Davina. Perhaps, I will trouble you even more after this," whispered Asih as she patted her hands with the rest of her strength on Davina's back.

"Dicky, don't be naughty, yeah! Don't make Santana's father, and Davina's mother angry. I have to go home, son, I'm done" Asih said.

The words were not at all understood, either by Dicky or the others. Because they are still hoping, Asih can still be healthy and recover as usual. It did not cross the slightest thought in their minds, of something bad.

Asih begged Ira to get some milk, a glass and warm water. Deftly, Irwan's wife took what Asih asked. Then gave it.

"Mother Asih, this is milk, and warm water," continued Ira, who did not forget to give an empty glass and spoon.

With trembling hands, Asih concocted the milk. He even refused the help of all the people who were there, when he poured hot water that had been mixed with a little cold water, so it became warm. When finished, Asih stirred the milk slowly, then gave it to Dicky. "Drink, son," asked Asih.

"Dicky, take it, son, your mother makes milk" Santana said.

Dicky took and gulped the milk made by Asih until it was not left. Smiling when I see it. His eyes were empty and far from where he was. The body is weakened. His breathing stopped as Dicky's hand passed the empty milk glass on the table.

"Mother Asih," Ira said as she shook her Asih body plan. Ira called out to him many times however, there was no response from Asih. His body is now stiff.

Irwan checked the pulse in his hands and neck. Irwan's breath was suffocated when he found Asih was gone. His pulse stopped, as did his breathing. Asih left after giving her last hug, and made milk for Dicky.

"Mother ..," the scream came out loud from Dicky's mouth. His voice was heartbreaking and so slicing.

"Mas Santana, quickly calm Dicky," pinta Davina, with a raucous voice because of the helpless cry she could endure.

"Innalillahi wa innailaihi roji'un" said everyone.

Asih is now gone. In the lap of the night, in the midst of the warm embrace, in the shade of an apology, Asih now leaves the steep path of destiny that he has passed through while living.
