Mom, Let Me Be Happy

Mom, Let Me Be Happy
CHAPTER 27. Revenge and Trauma

Santana goes to the room with the thing Dicky gave her. Santana's cold sweat dripped from the temples of her head. His entire pores docked, the fine hairs on his body bristled. Santana is creepy considering the events of several years ago that made her unable to dwell under the threat of Arifin.

A dagger that Arifin used to threaten Santana, now it's on him. Santana's trembling hands touched and raised the dagger parallel before her eyes. His teeth were trembling considering Arifin's face.

Still fresh in Santana's memory. The moment where Arifin used that dagger to threaten him. Arifin says 'Mariam, and Shaka will finish Arifin with it' if Santana does not want to obey his will.

Santana skin paled with sweat that continues to pour. His heart was indomitable, wanting it to hit Arifin who had destroyed the household heresy with Mariam. "I will never forget what kind of thorns have pierced and made my heart bleed" murmured Santana full of anger.

"Look, Arifin. After everything you've done to me and my family, "Santana's inner self-indulgence is full of worry. Santana put down the dagger, clenched her hands and then hit the edge of the bed until her hands hurt and hurt.

Santana made up her mind to make a calculation with Arifin. Not just for himself but for Mariam, for Shaka, and for Dicky. Innocent children who are victims of Arifin's selfishness and blind lust.

"All right, Santana, now save the plan. Until the right time to give Arifin a deterrent effect on his actions," muttered Santana inviting his soul to speak. The chest was now filled with the desire to find the whereabouts of Arifin who was now out of nowhere.

Santana wanted to reassemble the pieces of her heart that had been broken. Stringing back his feelings scattered like dry leaves blown by the wind. Clarify the happiness that seemed faint and almost faded from the sight of his eyes and heart.

Clamps!

The handle of the Asih room door moved and the door opened. Asih was still lying with tightness that filled his chest space. "Clear can we talk?" ask Santana with serious fashion.

He got up and sat down on the edge of his bed. "Just talk about it, Mom, don't you need my approval to say anything you want?" lirih Asih which this time looks resigned. Santana sighed deeply to regulate her emotions to remain stable.

"Look, Asih, do you know where Arifin lives?" ask Santana carefully. Asih stared fixedly at Santana's face then frowned in wonder. "Why are you asking me that, Mom?" Throw away his sight.

"Please just say, Asih, this is all for Dicky's sake too!" Santana pleads. "Is that right? Do you really care about Dicky?" cecar Asih seemed to doubt Santana. " Isn't it bad that I never threw Dicky away?" hardik Santana reminded the actions done by Arifin to Asih.

"Of course, you just want to explain how much I am, and Dicky's an outcast, right?" Asih endured her heartache over Santana's words. "Correct, care a little about Dicky's rights. I'm doing this because I still have feelings, I'm not Arifin who has no heart and everything of his own!" Santana tried to give understanding to convince Asih.

Asih lowered his face, realizing how cruel Arifin was to him. Now the mind is open to that. Where he was only used as an outlet for Arifin's lust wrapped in sweet words of seduction and his promises of lies.

"Alright, Mas!" Asih went to pick up a notebook with the address of Arifin's residence, then gave it to Santana. Santana took it and then copied it on another piece of paper. "Thank you, Asih!" Santana walked out of Asih's room.

In Denny's room....

Shaka was sitting pensively looking out the window with a blank look. I don't know what the boy was thinking. He seemed so absorbed in his daydream.

A sturdy but smooth hand, forming the head of Shaka with a gentle swab. "Check, if there is something you want to complain about then, say it to Dad" said Denny. Shaka averted his eyes and looked at my father's face.

"Nothing, Dad, Shaka is just afraid of Dad leaving Shaka, and also Mom is like Santana's father used to be" Shaka said. Denny grinned bitterly permeating Shaka's meaningful words in it. "Is Shaka so afraid of losing Dad?" denny asked as he held both cheeks of the boy.

Denny wipes Shaka's tears with her fingers. He took Shaka into his arms and held the boy affectionately. Without them knowing there was Mariam who had eavesdropped on their conversation.

Clear threads penetrated and managed to escape wetting Mariam's cheeks. He is sad to know that Shaka still harbors the trauma of Santana's passing. However, he is also moved to see how Denny sincerely loves Shaka who is only a child.

The bated breath made Mariam sobbing and was finally heard by Denny, as well as Shaka. Denny lowers Shaka from his carrier and approaches Mariam. "Come, Mother, don't cry" Denny spread out his arms to welcome a hug.

Mariam immediately threw herself into Denny's arms, followed by Shaka. Now the three of them are hanging out with each other. One shoulder that sustains and becomes a backrest when the heart is worried, is now present again in Mariam's life after previously had lost and then changed.

It turns out that every pain is not that easy to heal. Even though his pain has decreased. However, the nicks of the wounds that have been impregnated apparently can not immediately be erased just like that.

Maybe that is also what Shaka is feeling right now. Although it has been real there is Denny who is present to treat the wound on his mind. The pain of his previous longing is still often felt and forms a sense of worry.

"Have you, are all these dear Fathers not sure of Dad?" denny tried to shake off Mariam's and Shaka's grief. "Of course not so, Dad ... We believe in Dad!" Shaka wrapped his arms around Denny again. "Then give Dad the best smile" Denny persuaded.

Mariam, and Shaka also gave Denny a smile. There was a sense of relief filling Denny's heart niche. Perhaps the water is not thicker than the blood however, Denny will try his best to give the best to Shaka.

"Mas, thank you," said Mariam. "Say you love me" whispered Denny in Mariam's ear. "More than my own world," Mariam replied with a whisper, making a happy twinkle instantly radiate at Denny's eyes.

Seriate....
