Mom, Let Me Be Happy

Mom, Let Me Be Happy
CHAPTER 61. Move on

"Vin, I want us to talk more seriously this time," said Santana, bringing Davina's laughter to a halt.

The situation becomes silent for a moment. Davina silently prepares her ears to listen to what Santana wants to say. The two looked at each other in silence and silence.

"Vin, I don't want to be a hypocrite. As a grown man, of course I have a passion. However, I don't want to embrace a hope in uncertainty" Santana said.

"W-What do you mean, Mom? I didn't mean to offend you," Davina stuttered as she lowered her face.

"I'm not offended, Vin! I intend to propose to you as my wife, maybe in the near future. Vin, we're both adults, aren't we? I don't want our togetherness to be bound by a pseudo-relationship."

Davina's eyes glazed over. For some reason, Santana's words moved him. Davina's breath began to be heavy and powerless to hold back tears .

"Why are you crying, baby? Don't worry, even if my feelings for you are so passionate but, I won't force our relationship. If you really mind stepping into marriage, I'm willing to let you go. Even if I'm gonna get hurt later."

"No, Mom! Not that, I just feel overwhelmed. Please don't talk about farewell. I don't want to lose the person I love for the umpteenth time." Davina wiped away the tears that started to boil on her delicate cheeks.

"So, will you marry me?" santana asked, she wanted to convince Davina's answer once again.

"Yes I want to, Mom." Davina answered with confidence. They looked at each other smiling. There was matchless happiness emanating from the pair of eyes of both.

They started planning this and that for their wedding. Starting from a simple party, the date and time of the wedding, to what dress Davina will wear, when the happy day arrives.

After finishing discussing it, Santana said goodbye to go home. He did not want his desire to get wild when he was near Davina. Santana tries to keep her woman until it is lawful for her to touch her.

Davina escorted Santana to the door. His smile did not stop expanding. The clear eyes of Davina made her aura of beauty more radiant.

"Be careful, Mas" said Davina. Although in his heart he was not willing to be abandoned by Santana. However, Davina also realizes what Santana is doing, is to take care of her.

On the way home, Santana kept smiling. His long loneliness will be over soon. It was unexpected that his meeting with Davina, drove them to this point.

A few moments later. Santana arrived at her house. He went in and slammed his body on the sofa.

Santana closed her eyes. Fondled at the happiness that was tickling in his heart. He occasionally mentioned the names 'Davina, Davina and Davina'.

Satisfied to lay his body on the sofa. Santana now moved and pulled over to the wall. There is still a portrait of the woman he once loved and had hurt, Mariam.

Santana smiled at the portrait. He picked up and asked the dead thing to talk. It was as if he was really talking to Mariam.

"Mariam, the great woman who once filled my life. Thank you for your love and patience in my life. There are many things that are too difficult for me to forget about you," Santana gently rubbed the picture frame.

"Now let the happy memories and memories of the bitter and sweet when with you, I keep them neat in my memory. Let me move on from your love and go to meet a new love. It's not that I don't love you anymore, Mariam. But now the situation is different. You've owned her, and I've chosen to step back and let your happiness be intact with her. I've had enough to inflict wounds and pain on your life, Mariam."

Santana kept the photo in a box and locked it. No more portraits of Mariam's face, which are on the walls of Santana's house. In Santana's purse, he cuts off Mariam's face, leaving Shaka's face in the portrait.

"I'm sorry my woman is so out of line. Let me let you stay happy. Even if it's not with me." Santana shed tears.

Her chest is no longer tight. This time her tears relieved her feelings. Despite being deep in her heart, Mariam is still the single most patient woman she has ever had other than her own late mother.

"O Allah, allow me to be a just person for my past and my future. Don't let me get caught up in both of them, causing them to get hurt, don't let them!" Santana prayed in a soft voice.

Seriate....
