Mom, Let Me Be Happy

Mom, Let Me Be Happy
CHAPTER 62. Not Flirtation

6 Days have passed. At Santana's weekend, take Davina to her house. It means to show the condition of the room of the house that they will live in after marriage.

Davina swept her gaze around. From the front room, kitchen to the rooms available there. Davina just walked silently, occasionally smiling at her lips.

"What's this?" Davina took a photo tear on the sofa, after she returned to the living room.

"Beautiful ..." said Davina commenting on the tear of the worn-out portrait. Davina continued to pay attention to the torn image. Until he didn't realize when Santana called him.

"Vin, seriously ... What are you doing, anyway?" Santana asked from close range until Davina, aghast in shock.

"I-Yes, Mas .. just surprised!" sahut Davina's. He is not aware that Santana, has called himself for the umpteenth time.

"He who?" ask Davina while showing a tear of Mariam's face. Santana forgot to tidy it up and it was still lying on the sofa. Understandably, Santana lives alone and rarely settles.

"Oh, that's Shaka's mother," replied Santana flatly. Then, he took the photo from Davina's hand. Davina just pecked without protest.

"Sorry, I forgot to clean it up. I'll put it together with the other photos" Santana explained. He passed by to save the photo.

"other photos? How many photos did he keep?" Davina wondered in her heart.

Santana returned after saving the photo. He smiled at Davina. As if nothing happened.

"Until that's as neat as that, huh? You packed up your past?" Davina showed a jealous face.

"Of course, shouldn't it be neat! Otherwise, how could I possibly create such a wonderful atmosphere in your heart, there." Santana brushed off the confusion of prejudice, which was running through Davina's mind.

"You know what, Mas? I'm more afraid when you're better at hiding than being frank," Davina said.

"You know, honey. I did what I thought was fair. Trust me, he's just my past while yours, my future." Santana Sanggah.

"Hopefully you're not a tombal, Mas. I don't want to fall into the hands of a master seducer. Because usually, they have a lot of hearts to live in!" firmly Davina, still in a position to lower her face.

"I'm not them, Davina. If your heart alone can make me settle. Why should I stay in another heart."

"Enough, Mom! Don't make my wish soar too high. I'm afraid, it will be very painful when I fall," Davina said with a smile.

"I was hoping. Your heart will fall to me, Vin. I was hoping to catch you until you couldn't get out of here anymore."

Davina's getting the wrong way. His face was red. He's running out of words to catch Santana.

"Back to the topic, Mom. So, what's your purpose in taking me to look around this house. In fact, I'm your future wife, not your prospective home buyer," said Davina.

"Alright, then let's talk about it. I want us to stay here after we get married. Do you agree?" Santana.

"Actually, I don't have a problem living anywhere, Mas. But, isn't this house you built for Shaka? I don't want to be an excuse for you, to forget the rights of your son, who is also my son's candidate."

"So you refused it?" santana asked in a desperate tone. The man felt low when he heard Davina's words.

"Obviously not, Mum. I'm not rejecting you. But, I'm thinking about the rights of my son's candidate, Shaka."

Santana's not getting grim. He smiled and was proud of his wife. It turns out Davina, beautiful face and also her heart.

"But, we can wait until Shaka grows up. Or put it this way, we'll take turns living here and also in a house near the store." Davina continued, giving a very wise solution.

"Alright, Sweetheart. As you want!" Santana gave her consent.

Seriate....
