Mom, Let Me Be Happy

Mom, Let Me Be Happy
CHAPTERS 1. Mom, Shaka Wants to Meet Dad.

A young boy was sitting pensively holding both knees, from his eyes clear twinkles kept dripping down his tiny cheeks. He is Ananda Shaka or Shaka, so the call is pinned on him. He is currently 6 years old.

Shaka's father had been leaving Shaka since Shaka was 2 years old. Instead of migrating to the other country but, until now not just returned. Now Shaka is only living alone with Mariam, Shaka's biological mother who is always there for him.

"Son! Let's eat first, I've made Shaka's favorite soup" Mariam exclaimed. "No way, Mom. Shaka just wants dad, come on Mom ... invite Shaka to meet dad!" shaka.

Hearing his son who always asked his father, Mariam's cry was not powerful he could bear. Believe me if Mariam is able to do it, of course he has brought Shaka to meet his father, Santana. "Later to come home, baby, now Shaka eat first, yes!" persuade Mariam.

"No want! Anyway Shaka just wants daddy. Shaka won't eat."

Shaka ran away from his mother who had no power and effort to realize his son's wishes. Mariam put a bowl of soup that she was about to give Shaka. Then he ran after his only son while continuing to call his name.

"Shaka ... come back, son" cried Mariam. Shaka ran quite far from his house. Mariam kept running to find her son.

"Shaka where are you, son?" reset Mariam. Finally, Mariam finds Shaka standing dumbstruck with eyes that focus on seeing things. Mariam approaches Shaka slowly and finds out what Shaka is looking at.

As the distance nears, Mariam learns that Shaka is watching a boy her age play ball with her father. "Shaka, let's go home, honey," persuaded Mariam. Without the drama of rejection, Shaka immediately ran to his mother's arms with tears pouring down. His cry this time was without a sound, just like a scream from within the heart that could not be heard yet, could be seen very clearly. With the nelangsa's heart, Mariam carried her son and brought him home. The only place full of memories with her husband, Santana.

Arriving at home, Mariam's cries broke. While hugging and kissing Shaka Mariam spilled all her sadness. Mariam understands Shaka's longing for her father. With the remnants of grief she tried to hide, Mariam fed Shaka with a bowl of rice and soup she cooked.

"Shaka wants to see you, right?" ask Mariam. Shaka nodded his head while wiping away the remaining tears still stuck to his cheek. Then Shaka approached his mother who was preparing to feed him.

"Shaka has to eat a lot, so big fast and can meet with dad," Mariam entertained. The little boy complied, hoping that what his mother said would come true. Shaka always told me every time he came home to play with his friends that their father was great because he could make kites, accompany playing ball, or teach cycling.

In her helplessness, Mariam could only pretend to smile with a poignant feeling that rained down in her heart. Mariam could only pray and continue to hope that her husband would come knocking on her door one day. Meet him and Shaka.

"Mom, why did you go so long? Is it because Shaka is naughty? Shaka promised you wouldn't be naughty anymore, as long as you go home" Shaka said. "It's not so, son. Mother's son is not naughty! I haven't come home because I'm still working. When it's over, I'll be home."

"But Ms. Ali's father and Azki's father also worked, and they kept coming home!" disprove Shaka. "Spend the meal first, yes ... after that Shaka told me again!" mariam concluded. Mariam's mind is always turbulent whenever her son, Shaka complains about her being unable to play with her father like her peers.

Jlep! Mariam's heart suddenly ached like being hit by a sword that pierced right in her heart. "Mom, Shaka is full! Shaka went to play, Mom" Shaka said. "Well be a whiz of Mom, but don't go all the way!" mariam's Message.

The little boy immediately ran out to his friends who were playing. "Shaka see what I have? Bagusan? This is my father who bought it."

"Well, just like mine, I bought my father." "Shaka why don't you bring a toy? Ask to buy your father." The babbling of Shaka's friends who are still innocent is inevitable. Mariam also understood if the sentence came out of the innocent mouth of Shaka's friends.

From the door of her house Mariam saw her son was silent and did not answer the babbling of her friends. Mariam knows Shaka is confused. Even she was often confused how to answer a sentence asking about her husband.

"Where exactly are you, Mom?" mariam muttered. In her mind she always wondered. Moments after Mariam noticed her son from a distance, she resumed her work.

Life without a husband who accompanies him, makes him have to work twice as hard. To raise a child and to meet the needs of himself and Shaka. Mariam threw away her prestige.

When mothers in the neighborhood are in style buy this and that. Mariam can only smile to hide the desire that she presses deeply so as not to appear on the surface. Although his little heart was nourished, hoping that one day he could feel it.

In an effort to replace her husband's job to make a living, Mariam made banana chips and light cakes for him to explore the village. Sometimes he takes Shaka with him in his carrier. Because it is heartless if you have to keep leaving his 6-year-old son alone at home.

The pitying neighbor sometimes helps Mariam to take care of Shaka. Though the other neighbor's mouth snickered him. Mariam had already closed both of her ears from every word that made her hurt. Except when it's about Shaka! So Mariam would put up her body to protect her son.

Many people close their eyes and do not want to understand, that the unpleasant way of life of a person is not his desire. If all that was the will of Mariam herself, she would not have chosen to live as a wife whose husband left her without clarity. Without a living born and inner.

A thousand complaints will be free in front of humans. There will always be people who love and hate. Although she had to be scratched by a thousand, Mariam sincerely accepted it as long as she never hurt or hurt her child.

Shaka is the reason why Mariam is still standing strong amid the rigors of the life she has lived to this day.
