Mom, Let Me Be Happy

Mom, Let Me Be Happy
CHAPTER 29. Upholding Atmosphere

Santana arrived at a settlement, he stopped at a stall and rested. One glass of ginger wedang he ordered to warm the body and repel fatigue after a long journey.

"Sir, I'm sorry I'm looking for this address, do you know?" santana asked the owner of the shop. "It's very close from here, sir. Maybe if the taxi ride for at least 7 minutes has arrived," replied the shop owner.

"Thank you, sir" Santana smiled with relief and then went back to sipping the ginger wedang he ordered. The night air was very cold. Wedang ginger is very suitable to be a friend to warm the body that is swept by the cold air. Santana enjoys sipping for sips of ginger wedang then occasionally inhale the fresh aroma that comes from the main ginger drink.

After her body is refreshed and warmed up, Santana continues her journey with the services of an ojek. Then he arrived at the address to which he was headed. Santana walked slowly and relaxed a little.

A house with a flash of light that bristles. Santana raised her hand and was about to knock on the door of the house. However, the door was already open before Santana's knock landed on the door.

"I'm sorry, who's looking?" ask a woman of the same age. "Is this really Arifin's house, Ma'am?" ask Santana politely. "That's why, what's needed?" ask the woman a little introgating.

"I'm his friend, Ma'am," replied Santana. "Oh his friend.. Please come in! My husband is inside" said the woman who turned out to be Arifin's legal wife. Santana also stepped her feet and entered the living room of the house.

While waiting for Arifin to meet him, Santana swept a glance around the room. There are some pictures of Arifin with his wife. In Santana's heart he cursed "si*l, he was happy to live with his wife while my family was destroyed" Santana said.

The woman returned with a man who, after being seen with observant eyes, was none other than Arifin. Santana was quite surprised by Arifin's appalling state of affairs. The head was wrapped in a bandage with a bruised blue face and also legs that could not walk normally.

Arifin sat face to face with Santana after previously telling his wife to go into the room. From the look of his eyes it appears that there is regret in Arifin. "I'm sorry" said Arifin with choked lips.

"What's going on?" ask Santana. "God punished me, Santana. one month ago, I had an accident with my son and I lost him because of it," Arifin's tears began to unravel down her bruised cheeks as she recalled the events that had befallen her.

"Look at how I'm doing now, Santana. Even I was embarrassed to look at my own reflection in the mirror" continued Arifin. "I'm sorry and sorry for what happened to you, Arifin" Santana said with a flat expression.

"However, know it by you, Arifin. An apology alone is not enough to restore the state of my broken home. It will never be able to fix my future that you have ruined, nor will the state of my child's heart and wife who suffered because of you."

Santana vaporized all the uneg-uneg that had been buried for a long time. If not to see the state of Arifin is so alarming, maybe Santana has landed a raw bogem on Arifin's face. Arifin is only bowed lethargic to realize his mistake is too late and will never be able to return Mariam to Santana.

Santana then took the dagger from inside her backpack. Santana clasped the dagger tightly and raised it right in front of Arifin's face. Arifin flinched until she turned her eyes in fear.

"Why, Arifin? Sure you remember, don't you? This is what you used to threaten me first" Santana said grinning. Arifin cried trembling with lips clenched to keep the sound of her crying from coming out. It seems, with his condition now Arifin is resigned if Santana daggers him.

Arifin lowered his head while closing his eyes, reluctant to see the object he thought would be used as a tool to attack him by Santana. "Too many hearts are you breaking, Arifin," Santana said in a soft but stressed tone. Santana screamed and then blew away the sharp object.

At the same time, Arifin screamed. The situation became silent for a while, then Santana said "i am not you who oppresses others in a weak state," Santana pulled back the dagger she thrust into the sofa where she was sitting. Arifin was helpless against it.

"Punish me, Santana, "please Arifin with a clear face. "It's too late, Arifin. My love has gone and belongs to someone else, he is even reluctant to just talk and look at my face!" raung Santana while fattening.

Santana sneered sarcastically at Arifin's words. " There's one thing you can probably do for me, Arifin. Although it won't bring everything back but, at least I'm not burdened with guilt" Santana said.

"Tell me what should I do?" arifin. "Tell all the things you and Asih did to me first honestly to Mariam. All the things that forced me to let go of my soulmate were to ensure his safety" Santana said.

Arifin was puzzled as to how he would convey that to Mariam. Given his current extremely severe condition. Santana also catches the confused gelagat that is in Arifin.

"Don't worry, I'll wait until you get better. If you don't come after that to do it. Then, don't blame me if this dagger might pierce your heart!" Santana.

A deal eventually broke out between them. Arifin agreed to the terms Santana gave him. That night became very stressful for Arifin who was in a condition of no power and effort.

Santana was forced to be firm even though he actually did not have the heart to see the condition of Arifin. Everything Santana had to do to solve the problem that had weighed heavily on her life. After his conversation with Arifin was finished, he left the house of Arifin to go home.

The night was getting late and there were almost no vehicles he could ride. Santana looking for an inn to spend the night there. After a long time he did not find what he was looking for.

Eventually Santana returned to the gingerbread stall that happened to be open for up to 24 hours. Santana asks permission to rest there by giving some money in return. However, the owner of the stall refused the money given by Santana, and instead thanked if Santana wanted to spend the night there, 'count-count accompanied him to trade'.
