Sometimes man will never truly understand what others feel until he feels it himself. That is why, when you see other people are at their lowest point, most people are ostracizing and ridiculing, except for just a few people. Maybe that's what Mariam and Shaka are experiencing right now.
About the slander that Dicky did to Shaka, it does not make him grudge but, the wound was already incised in Mariam's heart, as well as Shaka. Both the mother and the child kept their distance from those around them. To believe in others is very difficult.
"Shaka..we play yuk again!" invite Shaka's two friends, Reyhan and Ali, who are still loyal to Shaka.
"Emmm... Riran, Ali. I'm sorry, Mariam's mom didn't let Shaka play today. If Reyhan and Ali want to play please, thank you for accompanying Shaka," Mariam told the two boys with a smile.
Reyhan and Ali looked at each other and then "good Ma'am Mariam, then we go first! Dadaa Shaka," they replied as they walked over and waved their hands at Shaka.
Shaka is too small to understand Mariam's concerns however, it seems Shaka is already well-educated to understand the circumstances. Shaka bursts into Mariam's arms. Mariam hugs and holds Shaka and enters the house.
"Bu...," said Shaka Lirih while looking at Mariam's face that still looks grim.
"Yes, honey... Shaka want to eat?" reply Mariam while removing Shaka from her carrier.
Shaka shook his head and encouraged Mariam by dancing like a boy while singing. Mariam developed a smile on her lips, watching her baby closely. Throw already sorrow and solace in his heart at that moment.
"Let's go, let's go trade. Didn't you make chips?" shaka invited Mariam.
"Yes dear... not done all but, it's okay! let's go" said Mariam.
As usual Mariam peddled her merchandise around her village to the next village. Suddenly Mariam felt that someone was watching her. Mariam took Shaka on foot into her trunk.
"No need to carry Shaka, ma'am. Later I will get tired quickly," said Shaka.
"It's okay, kid! we have to leave quickly" said Mariam.
Mariam also accelerated her footsteps with a feeling of anxiety. Mariam finally stopped when she was far enough away. With a breath of breath Mariam lowered Shaka again from his sling.
"Mom, is there something you're worried about?" shaka's critics are aware of Mariam's actions.
"It's okay, son. I just want to get to this place soon," replied Mariam lying.
Sure enough, a few steps from where he stood someone came to Mariam's surprise. Unbelief in who is in front of him. Mariam was looking to stop her steps while still holding Shaka's hand tightly.
"M... Mas Santana," stuttered Mariam who involuntarily dropped a clear grain from the corners of her eyes.
"Yes Mariam, it's me... Santana," said the man.
Mariam does not know if she should be happy or saddened by Santana's unexpected presence. While Shaka who almost forgot on Santana's face, just stared at the faces of Mariam and Santana alternately.
Finally Shaka realized that the one in front of him was the Father. Shaka immediately released his hand from the mariam and ran towards santana. Mariam was shocked at the time.
"Ayaaaah..," Shaka ran to call his father's name.
Santana welcomes Shaka with a hug, but Santana's expression is ordinary. As if there was no longing visible from the look of his eyes and the look of his face. Is it possible that Shantana has gone numb?.
"Alright, Mariam. There are things I want to talk to you about directly" Shantana said.

Now they were in his house, some moments only silence filled the room. Santana only answered as necessary Shaka's babble that kept him talking. His indifferent attitude really made Mariam feel humiliated and sick to remember the fate of Shaka.
"Mas, don't you miss Shaka?" mariam asked, breaking the silence.
"I don't think I should explain" Santana replied lightly.
"Mariam, I don't want to beat around the bush. Can we talk four eyes now?" Santana.
Mariam tells Shaka to go into the room first. With a sad look and longing that still hangs on to the Father. At Mariam's request, Shaka took heavy steps towards her room.
"Dad, aren't you happy to meet Shaka, and Mom?" batin Shaka who had arrived at the door of the room while turning towards Santana.
Mariam nodded her head at Shaka. Shaka understood then actually went into his room. Mariam invites Santana to make her point.
"Say, Mas. I'll listen to everything" Mariam said confidently.
"Look Mariam, I apologized earlier for making you miserable" said Santana then bowed.
"Do you think the apology is enough to pay all the 'your' treatment to us?" mariam concluded.
"Mariam, please don't reveal it anymore, I don't want to discuss it!" Santana.
"Why, Mom? didn't our household ark run aground through a letter you sent to someone else???" flocked Mariam with a fiery tone.
"Other thing you want to take away from my life, Mom? are you here just to assert your disbelief towards Shaka? or do you want to tell me directly what you wrote in that letter?" Mariam continued flocking Santana, without giving Santana a chance to answer.
"Till your heart, my mother!" raung Mariam while holding back the increasingly urgent sebak.
"Mariam, I know this is very difficult for you to accept, but..," Santana's sentence was truncated.
"Of course, Mas. But, it's so easy for you, isn't it? even without thinking about how Shaka feels who always dreams just to be invited to play by you."
"Mariam, when it comes to playing, haven't I asked Denny to do it?!" sangkal Santana's.
"Mas! are you serious about your words? Think a little more reasonable! Who is Denny? he's just someone else, Mom. You should have been his real father who did all that for Shaka."
Mariam shook her head and did not think out of Santana's way of thinking. Does Santana really have no heart and no feelings? so lightly he said something totally unworthy. Leave the child to another man, and he abandons him without feeling sinful.
"Good, Mas. I understand now," said Mariam sighing heavily.
"Is there anything else you want to say, Mom?" ask Mariam again.
"Yes, Mariam. Soon I'll be occupying this house with my new wife. I hope you can leave soon and I beg for your understanding.
Jlep!
Mariam's heart suddenly ached like slashed a million sembilu....
Seriate....
