Mom, Let Me Be Happy

CHAPTER 39. Humanitarians

The ritual of the stomach is over. Dicky to burp because of the satiety. Shaka is relieved that Dicky is not hungry anymore.

"Shaka, are you still mad at me?" dicky asked after eating with a worried face. "Of course not, Dicky, I've never been mad at you. After all, said the mother, anger that is stored for too long will be a thorn for ourselves," said Shaka.

Again Denny was made amazed by the polah and said the child. So good is the temperament of the wife, to be able to educate the little boy to be a child with a good person again cools the heart. Then, Denny's face grew even more blushed by his own thoughts.

The two boys were still chattering around. Denny enjoyed the view. Two children who are limping like adults.

"Is the conversation over, son?" denny cut their conversation. The two boys turned to Denny together and then, "of course, Dad" Shaka said. Dicky thanked Shaka, and Denny.

"Dicky, why was Dicky crying? Where's your mom going, son?" denny asked trying to find out what happened, after things had calmed down. Dicky looked at Denny with a sad face. "Mother keeps getting angry, Uncle. Even mom laughed and cried for no reason, mom's been really weird lately" Dicky said.

"All right, son, don't be sad! Now Uncle, and Shaka will take you home" Denny concluded. The boy shook his head then, "don't want to, Uncle! Dicky's scared of Mom." The boy looked distressed and confused.

Denny did not force the poor boy to go home. He took Dicky to his house. Not to forget too, Denny wrapped 3 servings of grilled chicken to take home. 2 servings for Mom, and also Mariam, and the 1 vote was planned to be given to Asih.

Moments later, they arrive at Denny's house. Dicky immediately ran towards Mariam and rested at Mariam's feet. Mariam was astonished and confused.

"Forget, Honey. Mariam's mother never gets angry at Dicky, as long as Dicky doesn't repeat it again, hmm. Dicky nodded his head. "Come here, son," said Mariam as she spread her arms gesturing for the two boys to embrace her and they poured into Mariam's arms.

Mariam hasn't had time to ask what happened to Dicky at the time. Mariam, Denny, and Mom let the two boys spend time playing together. Only then did Mariam ask Denny what happened to Dicky.

Denny told him everything and then, he asked Mariam for an opinion, as well as Mom. "Well, what should we do? That kid seems to need our help" Denny said.

"How, Ma? Do we have to go there to make sure the Asih state?" mariam asked her mother-in-law. "Mariam, what if you go there with Denny? I'm worried Asih will act again if he sees you there" Mother suggested.

Denny also agrees on her mother's advice, as Asih has always disliked Mariam. They were worried Asih would do even more desperate things. Eventually, Denny leaves with Mom, driving Dicky home and posing a state of Asih.

If you think about it, they may not have to bother to disrupt something that is not their responsibility. Humanity has to continue, right? Therefore they will not look at whom they will do good. Right now, it was clear the circumstances and fate of a boy were at stake.
