Mom, Let Me Be Happy

Mom, Let Me Be Happy
CHAPTER 25. Go play with Dad.

"I'm sorry that I'm still not very good at my own heart. I know that having you again is impossible. However, let me still love even if not loved back," Santana spoke to an old portrait of Mariam.

Santana realizes how hurt Mariam is, and Shaka is still gaping because of her. The wounds caused by his long absence without a message. Wounds that are re-charted over wounds that are still wet are exposed to tears.

At least Santana can now confirm that without her Mariam, and also Shaka is fine. He who returned to torture longs. Stay on her back seep accompanying her morning and night.

"Good night, hotshot Dad," Santana said, then dyed a portrait of Shaka's face. Santana flapped with her longing and broken that never changed. Hope now remains hope, regret is useless.

Next morning....

Denny's happy family, and also Mariam is warmly chatting with Mom, and also Shaka. Occasionally there was a crisp sound of laughter between them. Truly matchless happiness.

Tok tok!

The sound of knocking on the door sounded slow. Denny's mother got up from her seat and was about to open the door. However, Mariam preceded him. "Let Mariam alone, Ma'am, who opened the door" said Mariam then rushed over.

Mariam got to the door and held the door handle and turned it around. Klek... reettt! The door finally opened and Mariam was completely shocked to see who had come. Long enough Mariam stared with a look of disbelief.

"M-Mas Santana," stuttered Mariam who felt surprised. "Yes, Mariam ... I just want to see Shaka, can I?" Santana. Mariam nodded and turned to call Shaka but, as it turned out, Shaka and Denny were already standing behind Mariam.

"M-Brazil ... He wants to meet Shaka, ", Asih told Denny. "Leave it, baby!" denny replied briefly. "Ayaaaaaah..," Shaka ran over in santana's arms.

Santana immediately greeted him with a bow while stretching out her hands. "Father's Son" Santana said, then floated Shaka's body in the air and recaptured him. There was a cheerful face emanating from the boy.

Santana lowers Shaka, then goes back to talking to Mariam, and Denny who had just witnessed his behavior with Shaka. "Mariam ... Denny, can I have Shaka play today?" Santana. When Mariam opened her mouth and was about to say 'no' Denny preceded Mariam. "Of course, Mas ... Shaka had been looking forward to it for a very long time," a satire that was at once the answer to Santana's approval.

Santana felt herself as Denny blurted out that sentence. He took a sip of saliva and thanked him for the permission given. Santana takes Shaka away.

"Denny's Dad, Mom ... Shaka went with Dad first, yes" said Shaka as she greeted and kissed his hands. "Alright hotshot, have fun" Denny said as he pinched Shaka's cheek. Mariam just kept quiet and forced a smile on her lips.

Santana's footsteps further took Shaka. Until the moment they are no longer seen from the view of Mariam, also Denny. They also resumed activities that had been delayed due to the arrival of Santana.

"Mas, is Shaka going to be okay? ask Mariam to worry. "Of course, honey. Santana will not dare to mess with her own child," replied Denny trying to calm Mariam.

"Shaka, did Denny's father treat Shaka, and Mom well?" santana asked while enjoying the cream oak she bought with Shaka. "Of course, Dad ... Denny's father is a guardian angel to Shaka, and Mother. Denny's father made Mom smile all day "I said plain Shaka.

There was a throbbing pain in Santana's chest upon hearing that sentence. There was a bit of jealousy and regret for not being her that made Mariam, also Shaka happy. However, Santana is again reminded of the past sins he has committed against his son and wife.

"Dad, do you love Shaka now?" shaka asked with her innocent face. Santana grew increasingly grumpy hearing such questions from Shaka. The question seems to indicate that he has not been on the list of people who should present affection for Shaka.

Santana just understood why Shaka did not impregnate himself. It turns out that Mariam always says good things about Santana. Somehow instead of feeling happy it was the throbbing pain was increasingly felt in his chest.

"Mariam, Shaka is right! I'm his real father but, I don't deserve to be your husband" Santana recalled Shaka's words the other day. Santana again silently bowed lethargic to realize everything that reminded her of guilt and regret.

"Shaka, does anyone want Shaka to buy again, son?" santana asked when she saw Shaka's ice cream was running out. "What's okay, Dad?" said it. "Of course, tell me what else Shaka wants to buy now?" santana said enthusiastically.

"Mom likes roasted chicken, Dad. Can we buy it for Mom and Grandma at home? shaka. "As Shaka would, dear!" Santana carries Shaka towards a grilled chicken shop.

Arrived at the grilled chicken shop that was headed. Smelled from the aroma of grilled chicken that evokes the taste. Santana ordered 3 shots to take Shaka home, and 2 portions for them to eat on the spot.

"Is Shaka hungry? tanya Santana while gently rubbing Shaka's head. "Actually no, Dad, but, because it smells so good Shaka gets hungry" Shaka replied. Santana laughs at Shaka's answer which she finds funny.

Sick indeed, because at this time he can only take Shaka without Mariam and that alone is grateful because Mariam, and also Denny gave permission. Want how else everything has become a path of destiny that must be taken by Santana. Despite the tightness and soreness inside her chest however, Santana was happy that there was still nothing left.

Santana tried to hide the pain and swallowed it with the roasted chicken she was eating. "How does it feel, son?" santana asked in between her meals. "Good boy, Dad" Shaka replied as he remained busy with his food.

There was a smile on Santana's lips. Finally he can pamper Shaka after years of being abandoned even if not of his will. Santana often stops her feed to notice the happy hue of Shaka's face that is greedy eating grilled chicken.

Actually Santana is not satisfied to invite Shaka to play. However, worrying will make Mariam anxious to wait for Shaka to come home and will make it difficult for her if she wants to take Shaka again on another day. So, Santana was forced to return Shaka home shortly after the ritual was over.
