Marrying a Rich Bum

Marrying a Rich Bum
Refusal

Mariana looked down deeply, while her father stood with a reddened face before her. His one hand was still raised trembling after slapping hard on Mariana's face.

"Basic jal**g little shameful!" shouted Mariana's father wrathfully.

"Sir...."

"Shut up, you!" Jordan pointed at Bima's face with overflowing anger. "You must have ruined my son's association. An uneducated man like you, always deserves to be a dirty, selfless tramp."

"Mr,"

"Not a single word can be said of a dirty girl like you, in this house!" hiss Mariana's father, cut off Mariana's speech. Mariana fell silent, looking down.

"Master, I'm sorry. It's not that I want to interfere. But, Don't you want to know their reasons before judging them both?" ask one of the elders in a soft and polite voice.

"Sorry, Sir. I don't mean to be disrespectful. But I have my own way of educating my children to be as successful as I am."

"Good, Sir. That's your right." The old man nodded, then went back silent, staring.

"Mariana came to ask for my father's blessing, and apologized to my father and mother for the mistake that Mariana had done, Papa. Please forgive Mariana and our blessing."

"I'm not getting you two married. You're this. If you want to sleep with a man, you should at least know what he's driving and what his job is. Don't poke just any homeless guy on the side of the road like this. Just embarrass the family!" shouted Mariana's father.

"Papa, Mariana please, marry Mariana. Mariana needs papa as her guardian...."

"I will never marry my son to any homeless man. If you want, just ask one of them to marry you!"

"But the rules are not like that, sir." The man who had been called Grandpa by Bima, looked at the annoyed Mariana's father.

"As far as you guys. Whoever's willing to pick up this kid, I'm gonna sign his adoption papers right now, and then you can get both of them married."

Mariana looked up, widened in shock looking at her father.

"You want to defend him? Please. But get your feet up from here right now and take this fucking pel**r with you."

"Papa, calm yourself, Pa. Mariana's our son."

"I've never had a son a jal****g like him." Mariana's father replied coldly, then turned around and left everything.

Silent. All eyes stared at each other in silence, until Mariana's mother ran to hug her daughter.

"Please forgive papa, Mariana. I'll try to talk to him, but please don't leave this house. Stay here, while I persuade her."

"No need, Mama. Mariana knew this was what Mariana would get and Mariana deserved it for being bad."

"No, Honey. No." Mariana's mother shook her head, gently grasping her two daughters cheeks. "Father is just an emotion. Mama's sure you'll be able to persuade her to marry you soon."

Mariana nodded in disarray. "Don't push yourself, Mama. If you want Mariana to leave, Mariana will."

Again the woman nodded firmly. "No. Mama was sure she would persuade him. You're not going anywhere." Mariana's mother looked at her daughter.

"All of you, please don't go first. Give me some time to persuade Mariana's father. I'm sure he was just in shock," he said staring at the three elders accompanying Mariana and Bima.

"Alright, Mistress. Hope the best results come out of your discussion. As Grandfather as well as the village elder, I represent the entire family apologizing for their error."

Mother Mariana stared in surprise, but soon managed to control her expression. The woman smiled, then nodded.

"I'll have our assistant drop you some food and drinks. Please enjoy the meal while I'm gone."

Then the woman turned and walked away until she disappeared behind the closet of ancient ceramic furniture.
