Marrying a Rich Bum

Marrying a Rich Bum
SALARY OF FIVE BRANDED BAGS

Mariana sobbed in Bima's arms.

"I'm sorry, Mariana." Bima retorted to hold Mariana's body.

Mariana shook her head. "Thank you" he whispered. "I promise to take care of our son."

"Get my baby all right, Mariana."

Mariana nodded. His head looked up, again hit the lips Bima who still look red.

"Mariana.. remember your pregnancy."

"One time, Bima." Mariana whining.

Bima was wide-eyed, hugging the crazy body of Mariana once again.

"Enough for today, dear. You need to sleep."

Mariana pouting. Bima kissed her forehead slowly while stroking the top of her head.

Bima's phone sounded. Bima grabbed it from the top of the nightstand.

"Yes...." Bima greeted, next to her arm did not take off her embrace on Mariana's body.

"The house is ready to be occupied, boss."

"Yes," Bima replied briefly, then disconnected the connection.

"I have a gift for you. Do you want to go to bed first, or are we leaving now?"

"You drive. But I want to buy some corn cream soup before I get any surprises from you." Mariana sat down quickly.

Bima smiled widely, grabbed Mariana's body and took her to the bathroom.

Fifty minutes later, Mariana smiled widely in the car, her hands holding the corn cream soup that was still puffing smoke. Beside him was a cold lemon water stuck in the glass.

"Thank you, Bima."

Bima smiled, nodding.

"Whatever you want, you're pregnant."

Mariana pouted, scooped up her cream soup and ate it.

Thirty minutes later, Bima entered the high gate of an imperialo-style mansion.

"Whose house is this?" mariana asked wide.

"The house we're going to occupy."

"What?!" ask Mariana in shock.

"Let's get down." Bima did not answer Mariana's surprise, but went down and opened the door for Mariana.

"Please, big lady."

Mariana let out a big laugh, stepping down from the car.

"When you say we're going to occupy your friend's house, is this his house?" ask Mariana.

"Yes. And now we're gonna put it on."

"But, Bima.... You're sure the owner let us occupy this house?"

"Of course." Bima replied calmly.

"But our apartment is still 9 months away. Darling your money. What's more after this I'm not working anymore."

Bima gave a long sigh. She had thought Mariana would say this. Seeing Marco running down the front stairs, Bima smiled.

"My wife, I'm paid to occupy this place. So don't worry we don't have money."

"Paid?"

Bima nodded. "Yes. Paid for."

"Good Afternoon, Mr. Bima." Marco greeted very officially. His stiff style, makes Bima want to laugh.

"Good afternoon, Marco. Mariana, this is Marco. He'll be your manager at the company you lead."

Marco looked in shock, and so did Mariana."

"P-what company?"

Bima stared quietly. "Don't I tell you, my friend wants to open a branch of his company here and find the CEO."

"But...."

"I submitted your CV to him and my friend agreed. Marco is going to be your right hand man, as well as the one who can connect you with the owner of the company directly." Bima gave Marco a warning look, the man changed his expression quickly.

"Welcome to join our company, No. I mean, Mrs Sandiago."

"Call me Mariana."

"Okay, Miss Mariana."

"Ep... Marcos. Can we go in now? I think Mariana needs a lot of rest, considering that her pregnancy condition is a little physically debilitating."

"Oh, well, Tian Bima. Please. You can occupy any room the Madam wants."

"Did the owner of this house not use the room at all? What if he comes home?"

"Mariana smiled, nodding in understanding."

Bima brought Mariana in, following Marco who had entered first. The house is big, luxurious. Even more luxurious than the residence of Mariana's parents where Mariana's father is included in the ten richest people in the city.

"Who is the owner of this house actually, Bima. Why isn't he listed in a row as the richest man in town, if he's this rich?" mariana asked, her eyes scanning the entire household with a look of astonishment.

"Yes. Because he is not registered as a citizen of this city," replied Bima calmly.

"Is he a foreign national?"

Bima shook her head. "He used to live in my village, in the next town. And as far as I know, his identity still uses the city next door."

"But, why isn't he in the ranks of the richest people in the city next door?"

"Are you memorizing the names of all the richest people in the city next door?" ask Bima, smiling.

Mariana shook her head. "Not really, but I think they're having meetings with dad a lot. You know, the society of the richest men in the eastern states."

"Have all the rich gathered in that meeting?" bima asked, frowning.

"Not all of it, but mostly. Well, some who are too busy rarely attend meetings. And I also said there are some people who really do not like to attend such meetings, because they do not live in a tight competition. But still they're the richest men in town."

"Maybe my friend is one of them," Bima shrugged indifferently.

"What is your friend's name? Maybe we can find him in a row of successful business men in the eastern state." Mariana.

"Is that so important now, Mariana. If my friend were one of those rich men, would you turn from me to him. I know he's not married either." Bima sewot's.

Mariana looked surprised, then laughed.

"What is a jealous expression or what?" tanyanya.

Bima shrugged, her face looking flat. "Maybe" he said briefly.

Mariana laughed, wriggled on Bima's arm then scooped her husband's pouting lips.

"Are you not ashamed of your new manager standing there watching?" bima asked, after Mariana took off her pagutan. Mariana twitched, looking at Bima tensely, not daring to turn her head in the direction that Bima pointed.

Bima laughs. "Eat it don't just sit like a bull, Pregnant Mom." Bima flicked the tip of Mariana's nose.

"Why don't you warn me," sizzled Mariana, glaring at Bima.

"You didn't say you wanted to kiss me" Bima said calmly.

"But you can turn me down if you know he's there." Mariana gritted her teeth, still hissing softly.

"Well, I don't know until you take off your pigtails."

"You're this...." Mariana pinched Bima's stomach until the man grimaced in pain.

"Already, already. Let's go up and pick the room you want. He's gone." Bima pulled Mariana's hands gently from her waist.

"But I'm ashamed to meet her," whined Mariana.

"Why should you be ashamed. You're my wife, we're legal spouses."

"Yes but it shouldn't be so arbitrary either, right."

"Don't worry, she must know we're still newlyweds. That's natural." Bima smiled, stroking Mariana's long hair gently.

Mariana smiled, nodded, then walked towards the stairs in Bima's embrace.

Mariana took a room located in the middle on the second floor, with a direct view towards the garden occupied by a large birdhouse and rabbits.

"I like this place. From here I could see the flower garden, the birds flying in its giant cage, and the rabbits running down below. I love this swing too. It's convenient to be sitting here staring at that blue mountain while reading a book," Mariana said with a big smile.

"Then we will occupy this room." Bima consented.

"Can you be your friend, Bima?"

"You heard from Marco, right. We are free to choose which room."

Mariana nodded. "But, Bima. This house is huge. With the condition of my pregnancy, I'm afraid I won't be able to clean it up alone." Mariana shook her head, looking back around the house.

Bima smiled back. "Not to worry. This house has some housekeepers."

"What?!" ask Mariana in shock.

"Why surprised? This house is not occupied by the owner, but very clean. Who do you think cleaned it up all this time. A genie?"

Mariana nodded back. "But if we borrow it to be occupied, of course, it does not include the cost of household assistants, right, Bima." Mariana frowned.

"Did you forget that I live in this house also on the payroll. My friend gave me a salary because I was willing to occupy his house and be the supervisor of all his house assistants."

Mariana looked confused. "Your friend is very strange."

"Yes, maybe. But that's how he is. Confused how to spend more and more money every day. He even paid me enough to pay you enough to use some fun and do some fancy shopping."

"What?! How much does he pay you every month?" ask Mariana in shock.

"Well, let's just say you can buy branded bags five times a month, without us starving."

"You're crazy! How much do you think branded bags cost, huh?" ask Mariana sebal.

Bima shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe two or three hundred thousand, right."

"Crazy!" Mariana yelled bitterly, then turned around.
