Marrying a Rich Bum

Marrying a Rich Bum
MARIANA IS MISSING

Bima ran to the room, hoping that when she opened the door she found Mariana there, asleep. But again, he must be disappointed. The bed was empty, there was no sign of a new Mariana from there.

Bima came back down with an anxious face.

"Can't, Boss. The phone's dead."

Bima long grunt. He went to the lockbox, opened it. Right, Mariana's car keys aren't in place. Bima closed it back. Just as she was about to turn away, her eyes caught Mariana's handbag on the nightstand just below the lock storage box.

"The bottom.." whispered Bima low, her hand reaching for Mariana's black leather handbag.

"He left his bag," muttered Bima softly, showing the black bag in his grip on Marco.

"Then, the Madam left without carrying an identity?" marco asked looking at the bag in Bima's hand.

"It looks so."

Bima's phone is ringing. Bima immediately saw it, but an unknown number appeared on the screen.

"Yes, hello!" Bima said hello coldly.

"Lord. It's me, Alberto."

"Yes, Albert. Is your phone number new?"

"No, Mister. It belongs to Arabella. My phone, it's dead. There's something I need to tell you right away, so...."

"Yes, yeah. Just say it fast." Bima cut Alberto's explanation.

"Mrs... Mariana just came to the apartment."

"What's going on?"

"S-I can't follow him, sir. But, Madam left while crying."

"Who did he meet above?"

"Check who lives in my old apartment."

"Good, Sir."

"Damn!" Bima cursed furiously, pocketing her phone roughly.

"Back to the house. Leo won't be able to take us looking for Mariana." Bima stepped out, immediately followed by Bima.

"Stop!" Bima shouted, while passing the bridge where the car was mired into the river as they departed. His eyes widened wide to see the yellow Audy A8L car hanging on the hook of a tow truck that lifted him from the river.

"Boss...." Marco glanced at the car whose front was completely shapeless, the driver's door came off and hung on its hinges.

Bima stepped down as soon as Marco pulled over, approaching the officer who was trying to pull the car using the associated crack on the end of the tow truck.

"Sorry, excuse me, sir. Is...who is the victim of this ill-fated car owner?" bima asked, one hand covered the baby's face in his carrying so as not to glare.

"Oh, yeah. We still can't detect the victim, sir. No identity was found in the car and along the river stream, while the police license plates were also removed. Somehow it could detach its front and back," explained one of the rescue officers wearing an orange vest.

Bima held his breath, staring at the car that was almost shapeless, even though the car was bulletproof.

"How to drive" whispered Bima slowly, more to herself. Then he turned around, got back in the car.

"Is he crazy. How to drive until the armored car is destroyed. At what speed he hit the concrete barrier," muttered Bima, still glancing towards the car as Marco made his way to leave the scene.

"How could they not even find the body."

Bima is back to shake. "Maybe Mariana's not dead. Maybe someone saved her once her car plunged into the river" Bima said flatly, her gaze blank.

Marco looked at his boss with pity, the man silently did not reply.

Bima walks quickly into the house, looking for Leo's nanny.

"Auntie, please take good care of him. I'm gonna find his mother."

"Where did his mother go, sir?" asked the middle-aged woman, receiving a sleeping baby Leo, from Bima's hand.

"There was a misunderstanding between us. I don't know where he went, Bi. But I'll find her soon enough. Take good care of him, he's the successor to the Sandiago family. He's my son."

The middle-aged woman widened for a moment, then quickly nodded. "B-well, Sir. Good. I will take care of him beyond my own life. Don't worry, trust baby Leo to me."

Bima nodded, kissing her son before leaving to leave with the nannies.

"Ordered entirely to search for traces of Mariana around the river."

"Ready. Already, Boss."

"You are the best."

Marco nodded calmly.

"Where are we going now, boss?"

"Call that apartment security guard, find out who's occupying my apartment."

"Good, Boss."

"The boss, the woman who occupied your old apartment was named Sarah" Marco explained as soon as he finished calling.

"Sadah?!" Bima's face turned red.

"Wait first. His last name is different. She's Sarah Edge, a DJ at a nightclub."

"Did Mariana meet him?"

"No. Mariana went to your housekeeper first. Mariana asked why you erased her fingerprint access on the door and changed the passcode, and the woman said that Sarah was the one who changed it."

"What?!"

"Don't tell me you want to be mad at him, boss. You didn't tell the woman, nor your wife, that you had transferred ownership of the apartment."

"Damn!" Bima hit the wall with her fist until the glass on her side shook.

"So Mariana misunderstood, thinking me and Sarah...."

"I guess he thought you guys were deliberately distancing himself from this place with Sarah's deceit."

"Stupid!" Both of Bima's hands were clenched tightly.

"Find out information all over the hospital if anyone finds Mariana."

Marco nodded, immediately ordering people through his cell phone to track the data of the entire hospital and the rescue team.

"Make sure they find Mariana's body less than 24 hours from now, alive or even...." Bima stopped her speech.

"Where are we now, boss?" marco asked, concentrating on the wheel again.

"Go to the scene."

Marco nodded, launching the car at normal speed towards the crash site.

"What Mariana really thought. Does he have no pity for his son," Bima muttered to himself.

"Sorry, Boss. But, it's not necessarily a pure accident."

"What do you mean?" bima asked, looking at Marco.

"You know, Boss."

Bima held his breath for a moment, inside his head formed a comprehension that was previously completely unthinkable to him.

"Tidad."

Marco nodded.

"I'm not accusing, boss. But.just be alert. Who knows."

"The possibilities are huge."

"No." Marco shakes. "Just 50 50."

"How is that possible?"

"With the fact that Madam is misunderstanding the two of you, the chances of her fielding are also very great. Don't you remember the day before you tried to take his son?"

Bima gulped roughly. Bad thoughts flashed inside his head from various points of view.

"What if he really can't be found?" Bima whispered softly, more to herself.

"That's impossible, Boss. Congratulations or not, the madam must have been found. The river here does not contain piranha fish that prey on human remains until it is not left alone."

Bima was silent, her gaze was blank."

"It's all my fault."

Marco was silent, though inwardly he cried out, Yes. Of course this is all your fault!

"If she's found safe, I'll give her whatever she wants as long as she survives and gets back to both of us."

"Are you going to unlock the identity of Leo Atlas, boss?"

Bima took a deep breath, silent.

"He was very fond of Leo Atlas. Your son's name was taken from the name of Leo Atlas in the hope that he would grow up to be great like that man."

Bika nodded. "No. I just wish my son hadn't grown up like me, living in so many wounds and disappointments."

"But that's not what the lady expected. He wished his son to grow up as great as Leo Atlas."

"Leo Atlas is not great."

"Leo Atlas is great, boss. I'm sorry to say this, but you're the unlucky one in this, not Leo Atlas. Leo Atlas is still the greatest."

Bima turned to Marco, for a moment then he nodded in agreement.
