Bima entered the elevator, holding Mariana's arm.
"Mom, are you sure you're coming with us?" ask Mariana in doubt.
Bima smiled, shook her head. "I'm a nobody, Mariana. I'll wait outside.
"But the security guard said Mr. Marco told me you could come in."
Bima is back to shake. "I'm sure I'll get tired of just listening to you talk, without knowing what you're talking about.
Mariana was silent, nodding.
"Where are you going to wait for me?" ask Mariana.
"I'll be waiting for you at the cafe across. Call me when the meeting's over."
Mariana nodded. "Did you bring money?"
"I'm just gonna swipe the card, aren't I?"
Mariana pouting. "Mom, can you not use that card? I'm scared," said Mariana.
Bima frowned. "Fearful?"
"Five. As good as friends, who would easily give so much money to others selflessly. I'm just afraid he's demanding something in return."
Bima shook her head. "My friend is not that kind of person. At the opening of his theme park, you'll know who he is."
"Entertainment park?" ask Mariana.
Bima nodded. "He also plans to build a large amusement park here."
"Is your friend the owner of the Four Trainers Group?"
Ting!
Elevator door opens.
"Come on. Come inside. I'm not the right person to give you an explanation." Bima pushed Mariana's waist, away from the elevator.
"I'm waiting for you at the cafe in front of this building."
Mariana nodded, waving before the elevator doors closed again.
Bima moved down, back to the ground floor.
"Boss...." The security guard greeted her and Mariana looked down deeply.
"You don't live in Japan. Why pay respect just like praying," said Bima. The man immediately stood up straight.
"Sorry, Boss."
Bima nodded, her face staring coldly, as usual.
"Be more professional. In this place my wife is the boss, not me. My wife is very observant, so don't let her be suspicious of you. I chose you because you're the best."
The man nodded again, lowered his head half an inch and then returned straight. "Ready, Boss. I'll do it."
Bima walked away, not heading to the parking lot but down the sidewalk to cross the road to the cafe.
"The Sandiago."
Bima froze in place. Before turning his head, he knew whose voice was calling out to him.
"Do you want what?" bima asked coldly, her steps stopped.
"Take you back, of course. That cheap lady doesn't deserve you."
"I did not commit adultery with him. We're married."
The sound of laughter rang out from the woman's lips. "But he's a filthy creature you don't deserve to sleep with."
"I love her."
"Don't talk about love in front of me, Bima. You never loved. You're just lust."
Bima turned around, staring at the figure of ayu women like Korean girls, wearing a long coat that covered the skimpy shirt behind it.
The eyes of Bima scan from top to bottom. Behind the long coat, the woman was wearing a black tank top with a hanging rope and hot pants that only covered the fit.
"I'm sorry, I'm not interested in your style of dress at all" Bima said calmly.
"Is that?"
"Don't fuck around, Sarah." Bima took a step back.
The woman smiled. A soft laugh sounded even though his lips were not open at all.
"Then I'll force you."
"Go."
"The rules are not so, Bima."
"I don't care. Go awayl. I've married."
"But I care."
Bima turned around, stepping away regardless of the woman behind her.
The woman laughed again. "You'll make it up to him, Bima."
Bima continued to step up, trying to dispel the aura that the woman displayed to lure her.
Two and a half hours waiting, Bima's phone finally rang.
"I'm done."
"I'll come get you. Just wait in the lobby." Bima immediately got up, leaving behind a red sheet of money for the two cups of coffee she had spent.
"What's wrong? You look tangled?" mariana asked, looking at Bima's face.
"Rubber?"
Mariana nodded confidently.
"How come I don't tangle up if I wait for you for almost three hours just by drinking coffee."
Bima shook her head. "I'm afraid of being full when I eat, I won't be able to accompany you to eat at home."
Mariana chuckled, grabbed Bima's arm and twitched there.
"Then let's go home quickly, and eat at home immediately. This child is also hungry" he said, stroking his belly which began to look bloated.
Bima drove slower than usual. In addition to Mariana being pregnant, her concentration is also being greatly decreased. Many times Sarah's shadow seemed to flash before her, blocking her visibility into the streets.
"Why are you so slow to drive, Bima?" mariana asked, looking at Bima confusedly.
"I'm bringing a pregnant woman. I'm guarding two lives at once."
Mariana laughs. "Hasn't it been three months?"
Bima smiled wryly.
The car turned into the fence, sliding in until it stopped in front of the garage.
"Please, Princess." Bima opened the door, allowing Mariana to come down.
Mariana came down, smiled widely, then kissed Bima's lips at a glance.
Bima laughs.
"How was your job?" bima asked, when both of them had faced a large plate of spaghetti bolognese made by Bima.
"remarkable. We'll be working on a digital money project that's crowded overseas."
"Oh, huh?" bima asked pretending to be interested.
"Did you ever know digital money?"
Bima shook her head, putting on a stupid look.
"That money has been a lot this past month, abroad. They are converting their currency into digital currency. Digital coins."
"How do I use it?"
"Same as the card you brought. It's just that the nominal in it does not sound rupiah, dollar, yen or other currency currencies, but reads coin."
"One coin, what is the equivalent of how many rupiah?" bima asked, as if she did not understand.
"depends. Because those who use this currency do not convert rupiah or dollars to the value of coins. They sell things at the price of coins. So on every item of goods, your coin value will not be the same because this coin acts like a currency of its own."
Bima back the mangosteen.
"So, you're selling apps?"
"Yes. That's kind of."
"Is it too much for your pregnancy?"
"I don't work using physical, Bima. Using only the brain. Tired maybe, but we're working with the team."
Bima nodded back to understand.
"I like your job?"
Mariana nodded confidently. "Like it very much."
"How's your coworker?"
"Master Marco is great. So did Daniel. He's still very young, but very good. The way he looks far ahead."
"Who's Daniel?" ask Bima as if she wants to know.
"He's the one who holds the headquarters in Malaba. The man, very young but able to run an FMCG-class company in Malaba, simultaneously controlled his hands in many other cities."
"You think so?"
"of course. He's very young, if you know. But his way of thinking is so open. He was even able to read the situation very well, making predictions with even near accuracy."
Bima was silent, scooping spagety in front of her. His eyes glanced at the sparkling Mariana.
Somehow, the inside of his chest suddenly felt a piercing pain that had nothing to do with heart pain. It was like there was something pointy that stuck in there and had to be released by yelling, anger, or hitting.
Bima put down her spoon, stood up without saying a word. He knew he had a little trouble controlling his emotions. This feeling, almost the same as what he felt at that time, made Sarah pregnant who then killed with her own hands.
Afraid the same thing happened to Mariana, Bima left. He exited through the back door, walking in the back garden that had been overgrown with many beautiful flowers by Mariana.
"Mom...."
Bima did not answer.
"Mom, what's wrong with you?"
"Go away," Bima replied coldly, although she had already tried to suppress it by thousands of pascals, so as not to surface.
"Are you angry?"
"Go, Mariana. Please."
"But I don't want to be alone."
"I'll catch up with you, later."
"Then I'll wait for you here."
"Please, Mariana. Go."
"Did you kick me out?"
"No. I'm not okay, and I'm afraid I'm gonna hurt you."
"Tell me your problem. I'm ready to be a listener even though I might not be able to come up with a solution. Like you said, you'd be better off telling me your problems than keeping it to yourself."
"Yes. I'll tell you about it, later. But now please leave me alone to calm down."
Mariana took a deep breath, nodded, then walked away.
"Ep... If you're looking for me, I'll be in the study in our deoan. I need to call Daniel for tomorrow's plan." Mariana turned around at the door, telling Bima from there.
Bima turned roughly, looking at Mariana with a wrathful look. Mariana stared in shock at the change in Bima's expression.
