Marrying a Rich Bum

Marrying a Rich Bum
GRANDPA

Bima started back to cringe. His focus on finding Mariana led him to set aside many other issues that he should have also dealt with, such as getting rid of the Sasmita family company.

"Boss, they said Sasmita's company asked for the results of the audit."

"Urus only," replied Bima flat, facing his coffee glass that had not reflected the smoke even though it was still full.

"Boss...."

"I already know what you're going to say. Rather than you wasting your time, better find out where they're trying to find Mariana. It's the second day he's gone missing. Find my wife today!" Bima growled low, her tone sounding cold threatening.

Marco snorted, but turned around and left Bima alone in his study.

"Where is that fool?!" Marco looked up in shock. Right at the door shut tightly, a voice of angry screams greeted his appearance.

"grandpa. Who do you mean grandpa?" marco was confused.

"Who else would it be if it wasn't your boss?!"

"B-boss is inside." Marco pointed at Bima's study with his thumb.

"Let me start the child now" said the old man, directly barging into Bima's study without knocking on the door.

"Where are you hiding the baby?!" bima's grandfather shouted, as his eyes looked at Bima who looked up behind his desk.

"What's wrong with you, Cake?" bima asked confusedly, leaning back in place without feeling the need to stand up to greet her grandfather.

"Where's baby Mariana?"

"I mean my son's grandfather?"

"It's up to who I call it." The old man ruffled his waist in the middle of the room.

"There's with the nannies. Why why?" tanya Bima flat.

"Why did you take it from her mother?!" asked Grandpa Bima, staring fiercely.

Bima frowned.

"Why do you see me like that?!" Grandpa Bima growled.

Bima stood up, walking in calm steps towards her grandfather.

"How am I supposed to give the baby to his mother, if she hasn't been found to this day, Cake?" ask Bima in a low voice.

"Not found yet? Whatchu mean?"

"Mariana accident. His car got out of control and hit a roadblock on the bridge to get into the river. To this day, Mariana's body hasn't been found."

Grandpa Bima was stunned. "Accident?" muttered.

"So, grandpa doesn't know?"

The old man nodded weakly.

"It's just worth it."

"When did that happen?"

"Yesterday."

"Yesterday?"

Bima nodded.

Grandpa Bima was stunned, looking at Bima with a puzzled look.

"Wait," he said. The man was busy pulling the phone out of his pants.

"Hello. Yeah, it's me. Where's your granddaughter?"

"...."

Grandfather Bima glanced at Bima, before returning to his conversation.

"All right."

"...."

"Let me tell you. I don't know either."

Then the old man disconnected and pocketed his phone back.

"Where did you get the information?" asked Grandpa Bima, as her feet stepped onto the sofa to sit down.

"Grandfather spoke to whom. Is it grandpa Mariana?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Did she know Mariana had an accident."

"No," replied Grandpa Bima indifferently. "And you haven't answered my question."

"I saw it."

"You see him lose control of his car?"

"No. But I saw his car lifted from the river. The victim has not been found and to this day."

"And what do you mean?" Grandpa Bima looked at her grandson.

Bima let out a long sigh, sitting in front of her grandfather.

"Mariana looked for me in the house we were in, but I had not yet arrived there because I was sleeping here. I can't trust the people there to take care of my son. But, Mariana thought I wouldn't go there with her son. Then he went to our apartment."

"Why didn't you bring her here?"

"I was angry at that moment, Cake. Excuse me. Mariana asked for a divorce from me, and I threatened to divorce her, but she lost Leo."

Grandpa Bima snorted long.

"I didn't mean to make it this mess. Grandpa knew I was just threatening him so he wouldn't ask to be separated from me. He's been really incited by Sarah, Cake."

"I know."

"Grandfather knows?"

"of course. Because he came to Thomas to find an explanation, and Thomas called us."

"When did that happen, Cake?"

"Yesterday the day after."

"So when he came home, he...."

Grandpa Bima shrugged her shoulders a little."

"But he came to the apartment when he couldn't find me. I was able to tell him the apartment I had sold, or I rented it exactly. He met the aunt who used to work for us, asked me why I had erased his fingerprint access and changed his door lock password."

Grandpa Bima frowned."And?" tanyakanya.

"And the woman said Sarah changed it."

"Sadah?"

Bima nodded. "The other direction. The person who occupied the apartment was named Sarah."

"So?"

"I guess Mariana thought wrongly of me and Sarah. That got him screwed up and. and maybe...." Bima was unable to continue his sentence. His face turned red, his eyes began to feel wet.

Grandpa Bima let out a long sigh.

"And is that what makes you think that Mariana got herself into an accident and jumped into a river?"

Bima was silent, her head hidden in both of her clutched arms.

"Mariana isn't that cute!" his grandpa Bima sharp.

Bima looked up slowly. "What does grandfather mean?"

The old man smiled cynically.

"Didn't you recognize your wife's own car? Did you even forget to check the gps you installed in his car? Didn't you try to call her phone at all?"

Bima stared confusedly.

"I want to go home." Grandpa Bima stood up, walked to the door.

"Look...." Bima held her grandfather's arm. "Do you know where Mariana is?"

"Use your brain, stupid boy," the man replied, then stepped away regardless of his grandson again.

After the death of Bima's grandfather, Bima roared furiously. He threw his body onto the sofa, slamming himself into the back of the sofa in frustration.

"What's up, Boss?" Marco ventured to enter.

"The old man is a real jerk! Perhaps it was time for him to leave this world."

"Boss!" Bima reprimanding.

"Mariana was found. He knows where Mariana is."

"Have you?"

"Yes," Bima replied sighing in defeat, her body leaning against the back of the sofa with both hands stretched out wide, like a man who had just been shot.

"Where is the Madam now, sir. Why didn't you catch up with him?" ask Marco wonder.

"I don't know."

"No?" Marco glanced, staring confusedly.

"No. That old ban*ka didn't tell me. He instead told me to track down the gps I put on Mariana's car."

Marco frowned, trying to digest Bima's sentence."

"Boss...."

"Hmm.." replied Bima bored. His eyes were tightly closed on his tired-wrinkled face.

"Has the boss been trying to track down Madam's car?"

"no need. We know his car's at the police station."

"But my feelings say no, boss."

"What do you mean?" Bima opened her eyes, sat up straight.

"Come, but my feelings say...." Marco slicked his shoulders.

"I don't understand what you mean."

"Look, Boss. I thought, Grandpa Boss just wanted to say that you were wrong. Madam wasn't in an accident on that bridge."

"The two jackbirds didn't say that."

"Didn't he ask the boss to check the location of Madam's car? That means...."

"That I'm okay."

Bima and Marco looked together.

"Marina...."

"Mrs...."
