Hendra turned his head in shock, as soon as his eyes widened.
Bima stood up, walking closer to Mariana.
"There won't be any gunfire tonight, Hendra. Because the entire Galang army has been neutralized, including Galang."
"What do you mean?!" yell Hendra wrath.
"Hendra, what does that mean. A shot? what shots?" Hendra's mother asked, staring at her son in confusion.
"Let me help you explain, Auntie. So, Hendra has long worked with Galang, the son of Janny and Jane Xilas who have been auditing your company's finances. And only to be known, Galang and his army had raped Mariana, and planned to finish her off if I had not come and interfered."
All present held their breaths, their gazes focused on Bima.
"In short, Hendra single-handedly intended to get rid of the entire family, in order to gain control of all the wealth and company owned by grandfather. He didn't want to share, even with his own brothers."
"Wait on! What is your evidence for saying that?!" Hendra demanded with a worried look.
"I've got proof that I'm on top. Unfortunately, he's curled up in pain from a gunshot wound to his left thigh."
"Shootout? What gunshot wound?" asked Nico's father, who had been silently watching.
"I'm sorry I was forced to take Galang down with a shot to prevent him from running and washing his hands on everything he's done."
"What do you mean, Bima. Marianas. I don't understand it at all!" bully Leo's father, standing in a huff, blocked his son's agitated arm beside him.
"Uncle. Galang is a former gangster leader with many men. In order to welcome the victory party over grandfather's death today, he and Hendra prepared two snipers on top of a multi-storey building out there. Wh-wh-what for? of course to finish us all off so that Hendra can take control of all of Grandfather's wealth."
"Hendra?!"
"Dad! After all he did by smearing our names, would father really trust their mouths just like that. I already own the shares that you gave me, as do Leo and Nico. Only Mariana here had nothing, as did her useless husband. Only the poor would act recklessly to get what he so desperately dreamed of, Dad!" Hendra shouted out of control, his face looking panicked.
Mariana smiled, so did Bima who sneered lazily.
"Marina. I'm sorry, but what my son said made a lot of sense. Sister, once again without prejudice to my respect for you, but your son and her husband do not have anything. And in general, the poor are far more ambitious than the living affluent."
"Ha! In fact, the rich are far more ambitious to be rulers than the poor who always accept their bad luck and live it sincerely."
All heads turned their heads, staring in all directions looking for the direction of the voice.
"Who is that?!" Hendra shouted in anger.
"I."
10 Heads turned their heads towards the door where a person in all black clothes walked over and entered the room. Cowboy hats and face coverings perfect his disguise. Everyone was terrified, but not with Mariana. He took off Bima's hand, running to greet someone who was now standing in the middle of the door.
"Mapala.. I miss you!" Mariana hugged Mapala tightly, her tears falling uncontrollably.
"Me too, Mariana. I'm sorry to leave you so long" whispered Mapala, peeping over Mariana's head.
"Father.." a few startled hisses filled the room.
Mapala opened the hat and took down the face covering part of her face.
"Good afternoon, Father, Mother, Uncle, Aunt, and my brothers. And you, Mr. Leo. Greetings to the underground king, may you forgive me."
Leo stared confusedly at Mapala who was bowing low, his eyes flashing in an incomprehension.
"Stand, Mapala. As my messenger said, I forgive you," replied Bima calmly. All heads turned to Bima, foreheads wrinkled in wonder, eyes wanting to laugh.
"What a noble soul to you, Mr. Leo Atlas." Mapala stood up, walking towards Bima.
"Call me sister-in-law." Bima spread her arms, welcoming Mapala's lame steps.
"L-leo-l... Atlas.." muttered someone who had come from whose mouth.
A tense atmosphere instantly enveloped the entire room as soon as the name Leo Atlas was called. Everyone deals with the business world, surely knows who Leo Atlas is. And anyone who has ever heard of Leo Atlas is reluctant to make trouble with him, despite the fact that they never know what a terrible Leo Atlas looks like.
"Welcome to join the Four Trainer Group, Mr. Director."
"Wh...."
Bima blinked her eyes, signaling the mapala to be still.
"alright. So, it just so happens that we've all gathered here. No disrespect for the passing of grandfather who has not been one night, I want to convey the new director of the Texas Firm, Mr. Mapala." Bima stretched out one hand pointing at Mapala.
"What do you mean...." Hendra braked in time, seeing his father's wrathful gaze.
"And as you know also, Bima, that until the second iki, the position of the director is still in my hands. I have read Grandfather's will, and it says that all the property of the house and all the contents and all the cash that belonged to grandfather, will fall into the hands of Mariana. That means it doesn't include the shares of the company that Grandpa owns."
Bima smiled calmly, walked around everyone and stopped right behind Hendra.
"Of course, very wise young master. Grandfather did not include his company shares to be inherited from Mariana, because...."
Bima stopped, again walking closer to Marco who was also walking closer from the door, carrying a beam in a blue map in his hand.
"Because before this incident, Grandfather had sold all of his shares to Four Trainer Group."
Everyone froze, including Mapala.
Brak!
The dhuar!
Pyars!
"Itahhhh...."
Shouts filled the room accompanied the deafening sound of gunfire breaking the main room window glass. Hendra, lying just below the foot of Mapala and Mariana. The two reacted so quickly, exactly a killing intent formed inside Hendra's head.
"Be careful, Hendra. You don't know who you're dealing with."
"You're conspiring! You guys deliberately conspired to take down grandfather's company!" hendra shouted, grimacing his hand under Mapala's feet.
"Galun the good guy. You framed him. The Ja*ang trapped Galang by seducing him, sending him out of control!" Hendra still did not want to give up on his efforts to retake the company.
"Never call my sister that dirty, if you still want your nose to stay in place!" furious Mapala.
"I'm sorry, Bima. Mapala, let's talk calmly first."
"What to talk about again."
"Mapala, sorry, open I don't trust you. But all this time you disappeared and suddenly you came back when things were so chaotic, and you defended the weak. How can I be sure you've changed, son. Please, just calm down. We'll talk about this matter carefully.
Mapala stretched her footstroke across Hendra's arm. "Fuck him."
Two of Bima's men immediately ran in, dragged Hendra up to the chair and tied him up.
"Don't try anything, because I know what you're going to do" Mapala said calmly, then sat down on any seat near Mariana.
"What do you want to talk about, Uncle. Tell me now, 'cause I gotta get going to clean up some other stuff."
"What are you gonna do?"
"That's none of your business" answered Mapala coldly.
Uncle Mariana nodded, sighing deeply. Mapala is no different than Mariana. Obstinately.
"alright. So, where have you been all this time?"
"In parentheses."
"In parentheses?"
"Hmmm...."
"By?"
"Lo."
"What?! I wasn't...."
"Leo Atlas." Mapala cut short.
"Why?"
"Because I killed his mother, of course."
Everyone there froze again, including Hendra.
"Mapala... Why did you do it, son?" ask Mapala's father, speaking softly. His face had paled since then, and this was the first time he spoke of his son coming.
