Marrying a Rich Bum

Marrying a Rich Bum
ESCAPE

Ara clasped tightly onto Mariana's arm.

"He's following us" whispered Ara tensely.

"Ouch! Did I say. He's very suspicious. When he entered earlier, his gaze was immediately fixed on our table."

"Do you have any enemies, Mariana?"

"of course. Did you forget about Galang?!" answer Mariana cynically. "I'm still traumatized by her treatment."

"Do you think he's Galang's man?"

"I don't know. But it could be" replied Mariana tensely.

"So, how should we?"

"To there."

Ara looked at Marina confused."

"We went to a lot of people there. If he's reckless, we'll just yell and a lot of people will come to help."

"You're sure they'll help if we yell?" ara asked, her voice sounding like crying.

"That's it. Approaching a lot of people is much safer than in a deserted place. He'll be more free to ambush us if there's no one."

"You're right. At least, he'll have to think twice before kidnapping us, if there's a lot of witnesses."

The two of them walked increasingly faster, towards the crowd of people who were walking leisurely around the city park.

While behind them, the man continued to follow, not at all releasing his gaze from the two.

"Fra. How about we get to the car and get home."

"Don't. The parking lot is empty. I'm afraid he ambushed us in there, put us both in our own cars and took us away."

Mariana gulped, nodding. "We have to outwit her."

"Do you have any ideas?"

Mariana nodded. "If my instincts are right, this man is after me."

Ara nodded quickly.

"See. That guy's wearing almost the same clothes I'm wearing." Mariana pointed at someone using her nose. "I'll make a little fuss behind him, then I'll sneak up and hide while you walk next to the woman. Put your earphones on, we're connected by phone and I'll tell you when it's time for you to slip away."

Ara looked slightly paled but her head nodded in agreement.

"good. Be prepared."

"What the...." Ara asked, Mariana had moved quickly, tearing the plastic bag filled with apples in front of her using her earrings.

The red apple fell, rolling everywhere. The owner panicked, while some people leaned over to help pick up the fallen apples, including Mariana and Ara.

Mariana glanced back, the man who was stalking them also lowered his head to pick up an apple that was rolling at her feet.

"Now!" Mariana encourages Ara to come forward, while she quickly walks into a bakery. From the glass window of the bakery, Mariana could see the man wailing for a while, before speeding up her steps following Ara.

"Yes. Connected." Ara whispering.

Mariana got out of the bakery, walked over quickly. The mess he had just created was apparently under control. People are back to walking normally on solid pavements.

Marian quickened her pace, her eyes looking for the figure of the man who had been following her. It was not too difficult as the man was wearing a black suit and pants which made him slightly conspicuous among the colorful casual attire that walked around him. Mariana found the man walking three meters from Ara and the woman.

Mariana continues to stalk them, looking for a loophole to be able to free Ara. Not far from the position of Ara and her stalking man, Mariana saw a small child holding a helium balloon in her hand, while the child was in her father's arms.

Mariana smiled, pulled out the scissors from inside her bag and walked over. Right behind the boy, Mariana cut the balloon ballast stone hanging under the petite grasp of its owner.

"I'm sorry...." Mariana whimpered while shearing the rope. The rock fell, the rope in the child's grasp slid smoothly, flying with a large red beam into space.

The little boy looked up, then shouted loudly.

"Yeahhh... My balloon!"

All the surrounding heads turned in shock, then looked up following the direction of the little man's gaze, not least the stalking man Mariana.

"Now. Go into the clothing store on your right side!" Mariana gave orders to Ara.

Ara sped up without waiting, she turned around and walked inside the clothing store quietly.

"I'm at the honey shop, right next to the cake shop."

"Yes. Stay there, I'll catch up with you in a minute." Ara whispered back.

Mariana walked close to a row of shelves selling various processed honey. He waited for Ara with a feeling of misgivings.

"Ara, are you okay?" mariana asked worriedly, on the phone that was still connected.

"Shhh. Be calm. I've walked towards you."

Mariana nodded, forgetting Ara could not see it.

A moment later, Ara appeared from behind the door wearing a baseball cap and a black jacket.

"Did you?!" Mariana stared in shock as Ara patted her shoulder.

"Let's get out. The man's in the dress shop. We'll get to the parking lot quickly and leave immediately."

Without waiting anymore, the two immediately walked out of the honey shop, down the sidewalk of the road that was quite flat.

"Wear my jacket and your hair pigtails." Ara took out a rubber band from her pants pocket.

Mariana accepted it, pinched her hair carelessly and then accepted Ara's jacket and put it on.

"You bought a new jacket?" mariana asked glanced at the black jacket that Ara was now wearing.

Ara replied with a nod.

In less than five minutes, the two reached the car and entered immediately. Mariana locked the door as soon as Ara sat in her place. The two wore seat belts, before Mariana had a quick gas.

Right at the end of the parking lot exit, the eyes of the two caught the figure of the man stalking him, watching his car slide away.
