Marco followed where Mariana said they should walk. Because with her abilities, Mariana seemed to get a map of life around her.
"mmm... Milky."
Bima.
"Are you able to see everything as I see it?"
Bima shook her head. "No. That's why I'm asking you to lead us where we need to walk. Because you know where those evil auras are hiding."
Mariana frowned. "But I'm just leading us down a brighter path."
"You just have to learn to feel it, Mariana."
"How's...."
"Learn our own. What can you feel from my aura.
Mariana looked at Bima for a moment, then closed her eyes. "Quiet," he said later.
"Hc. Marco?"
"Strain."
"Aaron?"
"I'm worried."
"The car is right behind us?"
"Happy."
"Two cars behind us?"
"Attend, fear, worry."
"Two in front of him again?"
"Happy."
"You know, Mariana. That's why I asked you to lead us."
Mariana opened her eyes. "Why?"
"Because you're able to read at a great distance. While I was only a few meters away, and Marco could only see without feeling," explained Bima.
"What difference?"
"Marco couldn't guess one's feelings and intentions, only able to see the aura enveloping one."
"And you?"
"I can understand a person's feelings, but can't read the intent that is being formed inside his head."
Mariana took a deep breath, nodding. "I used to be so curious how can grandfather always catch my deeds wet even sometimes it's not done yet. Now I know how he can do it."
"Yes. I still remember you saying it when...."
Bima's sentence hung as Mariana's hand tightly gripped her arm, an aura of sadness soaring high encompassing her body.
"What's up, Mariana?" bima asked, looking at Mariana worriedly.
"Grandfather...."
"What's wrong with grandpa?"
"They.... Grandpa...!" yelled Mariana hysterically, then hugged Bima tightly and cried there.
Bima closed her eyes, enduring the heat that suddenly burned her eyeballs. Although she could not see it yet, but from the dark aura that Mariana emitted, Bima could guess what had happened in her grandfather's residence.
Mariana looked up suddenly, her swollen and watery eyes staring in alarm.
"Stop!" his yell. Marco braked the car suddenly, his head looking up at the center mirror. The sound of the car horn behind him deafened, followed by the rude swearing of someone behind the wheel.
"Move normally, and pull over twenty meters before grandfather's house" he said, staring back at Marco from the center mirror.
"Mom... Do you have a long-range rifle?" Mariana looked at Bima.
Bima frowned.
"They prepared two snipers to welcome our arrival. Grandpa's dead, and they're preparing to eliminate me right after grandfather's funeral."
Bima shook her head in disbelief, but she lowered her head to the back of Marco's chair. His hand touched a hidden button which then lowered the car's AC and revealed a long flat box inside.
"But I'm not sure I can do it, honey. I've never managed to aim right before."
"I can."
Bima looked surprised. "You sure?"
"How do you think I shot Sarah when she was in such a haphazard motion among so many people?"
Bima blinked twice, trying to think logically.
Satisfaction flashed in the corner of Bima's lips, he looked at his wife with a dazzled look.
"Shut up, Marco" said Mariana, as her hand reached for the long barrel that was inside the flattened box that was now open in Bima's lap.
"Mariana.. Are you sure you'll do it?"
Mariana nodded. "Can you order some of your men to take their place?"
Bima again shriveled not understanding.
"Listen, Bima. You're the gangster leader but you're stupid. Someone has to answer the boss's call, when they ask them to be ready to shoot, right. Otherwise, they'll soon realize the awkwardness."
"What are you planning to do, Mariana?"
"I know Grandpa left you something for us. But we're gonna follow their game, until they command the sniper squad to finish us off."
"Where are you going to get rid of those two guys?"
"Next night, of course. That's why I need your troops to replace both of them, so that when Galang checks the position, they're still there."
"Groof?"
Mariana smiled sneering, her head shaking.
"But, Mariana. I ordered them to lock Galang up in the basement of the mansion."
"Have you ever checked his whereabouts?"
"Of course."
"You're sure he's tied up right?"
"What do you mean?"
"Do you check his hand ties?"
Bima was silent, staring at Marco who was sitting behind the wheel, waiting for the next order from Mariana. Marco glanced back, his eyes staring tensely.
"Marco...."
"Boss, a-me. Just when he brought it down and handed it to the guards."
Bima silence.
"Aaron. You were in charge of the mansion all this time. Have you ever checked down?"
Aaron, his gaze still vigilantly staring around, the gun clasped tightly in his hand, turned his head slightly.
"Yes, Boss. But that bastard is always tied up in his place every time I go down."
"You hear me, Mariana?" ask Bima.
"Of course I heard it, Bima. But someone who betrayed you could have said it all to you" Mariana said firmly.
"What do you mean, Madam?"
Marco and Aaron asked almost simultaneously. Marco's eyes stared tensely, his aura looking extremely anxious. Various thoughts flashed through his mind, which made Mariana's lips lift into a smile.
"A squad has betrayed you, Bima. And you never realized that."
"Marina. No one can lie to me and Thompson there."
"There's."
"You're the only mimicry left after my mother, Mariana."
"No. There are two mimicries that are able to control themselves very well."
Bima was silent, her face turned tense.
"Sheap?"
"I never even knew where Mapala was, even though I missed her so much."
"Then?"
Mariana smiled wryly. "You even trust her so much" she sighed softly.
"Marina...."
"We'll know soon enough. Have you contacted your men?"
"Who should I call?"
"Let me do it, boss. I'll call...."
Dor's!
The sound of a muffled shot followed a splash of blood and the slammed cell phone fell as the bullet penetrated the heart through the back of the seat.
