Marrying a Rich Bum

Marrying a Rich Bum
NOBODY WAS SHOOTING

Bima wasn't sure Mariana could hit exactly the target on top of the multi-storey building at such a great distance from where they had stopped, let alone in less than a minute. He aimed a long barrel from behind the window, asked for the window to be lowered, pulled the trigger and closed it back within 37 seconds.

Bima looked at Mariana. Inwardly he wanted to ask if it worked, but he did not want to lure Mariana's hand to shift the tip of the rifle towards her head.

One more shot with almost exactly the same time, just two seconds faster, Mariana put the long-range rifle back into the flat iron box and returned it to the top of the AC box.

Bima's cell phone ring distracts Bima. He looked at his phone, then shifted the unlock button.

"T.Zero. Position of the opponent."

Right on target, Mariana. They're replacing his position."

"We went to Grandpa's. They've been waiting."

Marco nodded, immediately carrying the car back over the paved road, sliding rapidly towards Mariana's grandfather's house.

"Marine! Long time, you?" mariana's father greeted her with a dislike look as Mariana walked in followed Bima behind her.

"Sorry, Dad. But I have to pick up Bima first at the airport."

Mariana's father glanced at Bima not like it. "What's he doing at the airport?" ask him in a mocking tone.

"Dad...."

"Already, already. This is not the time to argue. Come on in, Mariana." Mariana's mother pulled on her husband's arm, taking him in.

Inside there, Grandfather Mariana's body had been lying stiff inside the coffin. Mariana walked over, looking at her grandfather's severed body very calmly.

Mariana scanned the entire room, which was only filled with relatives, because guests were only allowed to enter until the limit of the living room.

Mariana stared one by one the family members who were there, reading every plan formed in their minds. Power-hungry greedy auras filled the room, wrapping fake faces that looked grieving.

Mariana smiled sneered.

"Sorry, Grandpa." Only that word was able to Mariana say, between her efforts held back the anger that was about to explode in her head.

Bima walked over, patting Mariana on the shoulder. "Come on. Control yourself. It's above."

Mariana took a deep breath, nodding, walking over entering the circle surrounding Grandpa Mariana's coffin.

"Don't be rash, Mariana. Your aura is so clearly legible. Galang certainly can feel it," whispered Bima softly, right in Mariana's ear as they offered prayers to usher in grandfather's departure.

Mariana nodded small. A moment later, the white mist again enveloped Mariana's body.

Right after the funeral...

"I'm sorry, I have to gather you all here. Not leaving any respect to anyone, as the oldest family member here, then I will represent grandfather to take care of the inheritance to the Notary." Uncle Adam, Hendra's father, nodded politely at all the family members present.

Some heads nodded, except for Mariana.

"Sister, without losing all respect to your daughter, but I think, the granddaughter has no inheritance because what else she is married and is the responsibility of her husband."

Mariana laughed wryly. He knew his uncle would say that. But, following their expectations, Mariana stood up.

"I'm sorry, Uncle. But I don't think that's the rule. Inheritance is the right of grandfather's children, excluding his grandchildren."

"No, Mariana. That's not what I mean."

"So?" mariana asked with a demanding face, though inwardly she wanted to laugh seeing the full confidence in their minds.

"My point is, because the three of us have a son who will be the head of the family, while your father has no dependents, because you are married and are the responsibility of your husband."

"Where did you learn from, Uncle. You really look so stupid!" mariana Fishing.

"Madine!" mariana's father stood up, glaring fiercely.

"will not. They just share it fairly."

"Adyl? Ha!" Mariana sneered.

"So, what do you want, Mariana?" Hendra followed standing up, looking at Mariana with a dislike look.

"none. Because grandpa gave it all up for me. So, stop dreaming about splitting grandfather shares for losers like you!" Mariana glared boldly, staring one by one at everyone in the room, including her father and mother.

"What do you mean, Mariana?" Mariana's mother followed standing up, holding onto Mariana's father's shoulders gently.

"What I mean is this." Mariana received the sheet thrust by Bima, opened it in one slow stroke and handed it to Hendra.

Hendra read it quickly, without touching the paper in Mariana's hands.

"I guessed it."

Mariana tilted her head, even though she knew what was on Hendra's mind at the time.

"You're the last one staying here, aren't you, Mariana. We confirmed it to Grandfather's assistants, and you were the last one to visit him before we came and found him sick."

Mariana smiled sneered.

"How could you have forced grandfather to sign the surrender of all his property to you, Mariana. You're really sneaky!" Nicco stood up, accusing Mariana even without evidence.

"What is clear is that this will is valid and the signature of the original grandfather, not under pressure. So, please leave my house right now," said Mariana haughtily, her head looking up defiantly.

"What do you mean?!"

Almost all who were in the living room of Mariana's grandfather's house turned away in shock at Mariana's attitude that drove them blatantly from her grandfather's house.

"As the will says, all property in the name of grandfather is transferred to me after he dies. That means including this house, will be mine. So, please get the hell out of here right now."

"Who do you think you are, dare to chase us away like dogs!" Uncle Mariana let out a furious shout, pointing at Mariana's face with a wrathful look.

Mariana laughed mockingly.

"Marina. You don't be disrespectful to your uncle." Mariana's father reprimanded with a stern look.

"Sorry, Dad. But they taught me never to be polite."

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean, Uncle." Mariana looked at her uncle, smiling. "It was to order a bastard to rape me, along with 10 of his other companions just to get the agreement of a cooperation contract."

"What do you mean?"

"So you're getting forgetful, Hendra. You even ordered Galang to finish me off after enjoying my body, so that I wouldn't get in the way of taking the CEO position in the company."

"The position you hold is just a gift from grandfather."

"of course. And grandpa gave me that position because he knows I'm the most capable of you."

"Fuck up!" yelled angrily, then the man pressed something on his phone in a rude gesture.

He waited, but nothing happened.

Hendra grabbed his phone, typed something and sent it.

Silent. Still nothing happened.

"Hey stupid! Do now!" hendra shouted, sticking a cell phone in her ear.

"They won't shoot" Bima said in a very calm and deep voice.
