Ch. 8
One week already Angel is in his beloved homeland. After making sure it was safe, Angel just dared to come out. He began by finding a place to live, which is an apartment he rented for the next few months.
Angel began looking for work by entering applications to several companies. But he avoided his family's company. Yes, this time Angel again wants to work in the company because if he works at a restaurant or store he is afraid to meet many people.
After two days of submitting the application, Angel got an interview call at one of the companies. Early in the morning he was ready. Angel looked at her appearance in front of the mirror. He himself is not sure will be accepted to work in the company with a geeky appearance like this. Because the company is so big.
At exactly eight in the morning Angel has arrived at the company where he will be interviewed. There are some people who will be interviewed there and their performances are all very good if Angel compares with his current appearance.
They looked at Angel with an inexplicable look. Some also seem to underestimate it. Angel knew they might be talking about it. Angel did not care. At least he didn't feel insecure.
Now it was Angel's turn to be called. A senior woman in her forty years would interview her. The woman looked at Angel from top to bottom. No wonder the value of the diploma is high. From his appearance alone can be made sure he is a nerd.
"Congratulations. You're accepted." broke up with the woman after asking a few questions.
"Thank you, Mom."
"It's her employment contract." The woman gave Angel a file.
"Please sign it" he continued.
Before signing, Angel read the contents of the employment contract first. Just like a contract letter in general but here the contents of the agreement are more. After finishing reading Angel was without hesitation to sign it. Then he handed it back to the woman.
"Welcome to join our company. Tomorrow you will start working. Make sure to always follow the rules and come on time" the woman said.
It turns out that this company prefers the quality of human resources rather than appearance and appearance. The company is moving forward and growing.
The next day Angel arrived on time, even fifteen minutes ahead of office hours. It has become a habit for Angel to be disciplined in work.
An HRD staff took Angel to his desk and explained what tasks Angel had to do. Because based on the CV application that Angel submitted yesterday he just graduated from college and has no work experience at all.
Angel listened to the description from her senior who was a man while putting on a serious face, as if she knew nothing. The man was just like any other man who was being flat and reluctant to look at Angel's ugly face with thick and large glasses perched on his face.
Elementary ! all men are the same. I love to see only the beautiful and the beautiful. Angel murmured in her heart after the man left.
That morning Angel was immediately given some work to copy the results of the meeting and make a proposal.
Gosh darn. Do they think I'm an intern. Inner Angel felt slighted.
He stared at the three files in his hand and without wasting any more time he immediately did a task that Angel did not think was his level. Not until an hour, Angel has completed all the tasks.
"God. It's too perfect for a new kid." Angel looked at the work he had printed.
Angel looked at the clock on his wrist, it was only thirty-five minutes. He had to wait at least an hour to hand over the task he had already made.
One hour for three tasks according to Angel is still too fast for a new child who enters work on the first day. Angel also pretended to compartmentalize his computer so that he was thought to still do tasks that seemed unfinished while waiting for an hour.
