Ch. 23
The next day Melvin who was sitting at the dinner table stared at the breakfast menu that had been provided by Angel.
"Can't you cook ?" melvin asked Angel who had just come out of his room.
Since Melvin's few days living with Angel, every morning the woman just makes breakfast toast and hot chocolate.
Angel replied with a small nod because he could only cook a few simple menus.
"Em, why ?" angel asked confusedly. Why did the man suddenly ask about whether he could cook or not.
"You better make your own dinner at home so you don't wander at night" Melvin said in a flat voice.
Since returning to dinner with Louise last night, Melvin has been cold to Angel. Their relationship has improved in recent days.
After breakfast, Melvin leaves first. Today he did not invite Angel to go together. Angel sighed looking at Melvin's easy-to-change attitude.
Actually Melvin wanted to invite Angel, only this morning he had to go to the hospital first to attend the annual report meeting of the Medical Prosperous Hospital.
Melvin had only arrived at his office at ten in the morning and there was so much work waiting for him that he forgot to send Angel a message.
When it came to work, Melvin wanted to take Angel home together. Unfortunately, the woman went home in a taxi.
When Melvin arrives at the apartment, he doesn't see Angel. Maybe the woman was in the room. Melvin went straight into his room. After cleaning up, Melvin continued his work in the study.
The day starts at night. Melvin who was focusing on his work was suddenly interrupted by a noise from outside. He immediately came out to check it out.
"God. What are you doing ?"
Melvin is shocked to see Angel in the kitchen holding a knife.
"I want to cut chicken. But it's too hard." point Angel at the thing in front of him.
Coming home from work, Angel went to the supermarket to buy food ingredients. True Melvin said, he should cook himself for dinner.
"To cut the chicken meat that is still intact use this knife." explained Melvin showed a larger knife in his hand.
Melvin took the chicken and started cutting it.
"What do you want to cook ?" melvin asked who distracted Angel.
Since then Angel stared in awe at the skill of Melvin cutting chicken. He did not expect that a CEO of a large company could do such a thing.
"I want to cook this." Angel showed me a menu on her phone screen.
Apparently the woman saw a tutorial on cooking on the internet.
"You've prepared the ingredients ?" ask Melvin again.
"Yet. Oh, I'll get it ready now."
Angel began unpacking her grocery bags to look for the materials she needed.
Melvin shook his head looking at Angel who looked confused at the spices and other cooking ingredients. This woman is not used to being in the kitchen.
Yes, usually if Angel helps Aunt Diana cook in the kitchen all the ingredients are prepared by the waiter. Angel did not even know the names of herbs and spices. Earlier, while shopping at the supermarket, he asked for help from employees who worked at the supermarket to get the items he had recorded.
An hour later, two meals are ready. Angel took two plates for him and Melvin.
"Where does it feel ?" melvin asked after Angel put food in his mouth.
"Enak, very good." Angel held up her two thumbs in front of Melvin.
All this food Melvin cooked it because he saw a very bad Angel doing it. So he took over. Angel just helps and arranges the groceries in the refrigerator.
Really Angel really did not expect if Melvin was so smart in the kitchen. Not only cut chicken, it can even cook and the taste of the cuisine is very good. Melvin's cleverness in terms of cooking, of course, decreased from the mother. Mama Nia's cuisine is so good that it makes papa Abizar fall in love.
