Ch. 37

Early in the morning Angel came to Eudora's room. After thinking all night, Angel wanted to apologize to her sister. Angel really feels guilty. It's true what his Daddy said. He was so selfish and did not think about Eudora's feelings. Angel knew her sister loved someone. But Angel seemed to not care when she found out that Eudora was forced to take her place.

Angel undoes her intention to enter Eudora's room when she sees Eudora being rebuked. Eudora is unaware that Angel has opened the door to her room. Angel closed the door very slowly. He didn't want to make Eudora awkward. His sister was an introvert. Eudora did not want anyone to know about her grief.

"Good morning mom, dad, sister." said Eudora the last one to arrive at the dinner table.

Angel smiled back at her sister's greeting while watching Eudora's face. Although she had just been questioning, Eudora still displayed a smile on her lips.

Melvin who has received news from Louise about Angel who has now returned home to her parents can not wait for nightfall. Yes, Melvin has decided to come to his future-in-law's house tonight as well. But not to meet his fiancee. Except to see his sister-in-law. Or rather his wife.

Melvin took a long breath. Looking at the clock on his wrist as if it was not moving. Since then, there has been a lot of work done. But the new time shows at two o'clock in the afternoon. Long wait for the night. Melvin then continued work to shift his mind so that time quickly passed.

The day just got dark. But Melvin was ready to go to Abraham's house.

"Melvin, where are you going ?" asked Nia who saw her son coming down the stairs in a neat dress.

Although Melvin had often gone out at night but still Nia always asked where her son would go.

"I'm going to Abraham's house, ma." Melvin answered honestly.

"Be careful. Give my mama's regards to Eudora and her Mommy." Nia's message to her son.

"Good, ma. I'm leaving." said Melvin.

Melvin immediately drove his car to Angel's parents' house. His heart rumbled as the car he was driving entered the courtyard of a mansion. Either because he was too angry and upset with Angel or there were other feelings in his heart that made Melvin pound.

Soon after dinner, Abraham was in the study, and Sonia and Eudora were in their rooms. Angel who had already exited the room heard the sound of a bell when walking towards the dining room.

There's nobody there. Maybe the waiter's in the kitchen to prepare dinner. Angel had to open the door.

"Who's visiting at dinner this time." murmured Angel.

As she recalled her mommy and Daddy there was no saying invite people to eat together today.

"Search for sia pa ?" angel asked stammered as he opened the door and saw who was coming.

Angel was so surprised to see Melvin standing straight in front of him. While Melvin was just staring flatly at this woman in front of him. Although Angel's appearance looks different from straight brown hair. Only her beautiful eyes and thin lips did not change.

For a while Melvin was still staring fixedly at the face of the real Angel. Their eyes stared at each other and locked. But with a different feeling. As vigorously as Melvin restrained the rumble in his chest so that he could display a flat face. Without a surprised expression. While Angel who was still shocked could not say anything. He only hoped that Melvin wouldn't recognize him.
