Ch. 47

When Eudora arrived home with Melvin, everyone was gathered in the living room. Erland was there too. After Eudora leaves with Melvin, Erland continues to head to Sonia's aunt's house. The sister of his father.

"You guys are home. Come on, sit here." said Sonia's mom, invite Eudora and Melvin to join.

Angel noticed Eudora and Melvin walking closer. His sister was seen carrying a lot of stuff. Turns out Melvin really spoiled Eudora. It felt like something was piercing in Angel's heart. Angel then turned her gaze towards Erland who was just staring flatly at Eudora.

"Erland meet Melvin. Eudora's fiancee." mom Sonia introduced Melvin to Erland.

"Melvin, this is Erland. Mommy's niece."

Erland and Melvin meet for the second time.

After Melvin came home, Eudora went straight into the room. Angel and Erland were sitting together in the back garden.

"Erland, are you okay ?" angel asked to confirm Erland's situation after seeing Eudora with Melvin.

Erland nodded with a smile. "Yes. I'm ok. You take it easy."

"Are you all right ?" ask Angel to make sure again.

Whatever Angel knows best what Erland feels like to her sister all along.

Erland just nodded. He asked Angel.

"Where are you yourself ? no regrets about letting go of Melvin ? he seems like a good man."

"What do you mean ?" ask Angel to investigate.

Erland probably already knows about his relationship with Melvin. But he never told anyone. Including Louise. But considering Erland who is a spy, Erland can tell without having to be told.

"You should be the one that Melvin's match with. Not Eudora."

Angel heaved a sigh of relief at Erland's words. Apparently so. He thinks Erland already knows about his marriage to Melvin.

"No." replied Angel sure though in his heart still felt doubtful.

After talking to Erland, Angel came to Eudora's room to call her sister. Because Erland wanted to talk to Eudora.

In the room Eudora was tidying up the things she had brought earlier. The girl's face looked very happy. Eudora hugged a doll that she had just pulled out of the paper bag fondly. As unfortunately he was to the person who had bought the doll. Without Eudora realizing that Angel had been watching him since.

"Eh, brother ?" Eudora realizes Angel's existence.

"You look so happy today" said Angel, seeing Eudora's smile not breaking from this morning.

Angel knows Eudora is happy because Melvin always spoils her. Just look at these things. Melvin must have bought it.

"Yes, brother. I'm happy to be able to walk." with Erland's brother. Keep Eudora in your heart.

But the Angel knew Eudora was traveling with Melvin. Angel forced her smile. There was no way he would show his pain in front of Eudora.

"Melvin must love you so much" said Angel looking at all the items still on Eudora's bed.

Eudora simply smiled back at Angel's words without intending to answer.

"Oh yeah. Does brother want ? take it." Eudora gave me a paper bag.

The paper bag contains the item Melvin bought earlier. The others were all bought by Erland.

"No. These things Melvin bought for you." Angel refused.

"It's okay. I've got a lot." Eudora.

Not wanting to destroy Eudora's happiness and make Eudora suspicious, Angel was finally forced to accept Eudora's gift

"Oh, I forgot. Erland wants to talk to you. He was waiting in the back garden" said Angel, who remembered his intention of coming to Eudora's room.

"Good brother. I'm leaving now." said Eudora straight out of her room. Even leaving Angel still there.
