Ch. 3

The next day Melvin actually went abroad with his assistant, Leon. According to the schedule, Melvin was there for five days. But to avoid his grandfather, Melvin made it a week by adding not-so-important agendas.

On the second day, Melvin deliberately emptied his schedule from day to night. The man chose to go for a walk instead of visiting the new project site. And that night Melvin would attend a party hosted by one of his business friends.

The time is now five in the afternoon local time. It's time for Angel to get home from work.

"Angel." call the boutique manager where he works.

"Yes, brother." Angel looked over while preparing to wear her bag.

"Please deliver this while you go home." the woman gave me a bag.

"Oh, good brother." Angel received paper bag.

"This is the address." the manager gave Angel a piece of paper.

"I go home first, sister." said Angel before leaving the boutique.

Angel saw a paper that read the name of a hotel that seemed familiar. He also remembered that the hotel was located not far from here. Every day Angel passed by the hotel when she left and came home from work. He hastened his steps to get to the hotel.

Angel was so surprised because suddenly his steps were blocked by a man.

"Good afternoon, miss." greet the man wearing the hat and sunglasses.

At first Angel was very scared. But after hearing a familiar voice in his ear he smiled.

"Erland !"exclaim Angel happy.

Had they been in London, Angel would have immediately embraced the man named Erland. But now they are in a country where there are rules of manners that limit attitudes between the opposite sex in public places.

"How are you doing ?" ask Erland.

They were in a cafe not far from where they had met.

"You can see that I'm fine" Angel answered proudly.

This was his first time living away from family and from people who knew him and he was fine.

"Good then. So I don't have to worry about you. With that look of yours, I'm sure there won't be a single man who's interested in you" Erland said in a mocking tone.

"You did make me so ugly on purpose. Because you can't accept that I'm prettier than my sister." Angel replied.

Yes, Erland is Angel's cousin who has helped him to escape by giving Angel a new identity so that he can not be tracked by his dady man.

Erland only chuckled in response to the words of the woman in front of him.

"What are you doing here ?" ask Angel just to be stale.

Can't it be that her cousin came to visit her here on purpose ? because Angel knows Erland is very busy. Even that man hasn't been home for six months.

"There's some business that I have to finish" Erland replied and after that Angel did not ask any further because he already understood very well about Erland's work.

For almost an hour they sat at the cafe telling stories before the two left with their respective goals.

It was dark when Angel arrived at the hotel. He went straight to the receptionist to make his point. A hotel staff then escorted Angel to a customer's room who ordered clothes from the boutique where she worked.

"Thank you" Angel said before the hotel staff left.

Not yet Angel pressed the bell, the door to the room was suddenly opened from the inside. A young and handsome man who was holding a cell phone in his ear was shocked to see Angel.

Angel was used to getting that kind of response from every guy she met. Maybe they were surprised to see his ugly face. But Angel doesn't care at all.

"Sorry, Sir. I'm from Mr & Mrs boutique delivering orders to this address." Angel showed me the paper given to her by the boutique manager.

The man gave Angel a hand code to enter because it looked like someone was talking to him over the phone.

Angel put her foot into the room. But the man went outside. Angel, who wanted to turn around to open the door, was shocked to see a new man coming out of the bathroom with a towel.

Uhh...

Angel screamed and immediately covered her face. The paper bag in his hand fell to the floor.

The man was similarly shocked to hear Angel's voice and reflexes running over to shut the woman's mouth to stop screaming. He did not want people to hear the scream and thought he had done nothing to the woman who had no idea who was suddenly in his room.

The two of them looked at the door that was suddenly

knock from outside.
