Ch. 33
Melvin looked at a handsome man who was now sitting in front of him. The man who sent the message to ask her to meet earlier was none other than Louise. They are currently in a fine restaurant. In a VIP room.
"Do you want to meet me ?" ask Melvin without a stale base. This is the second time they have met in person.
If you want to talk about business or cooperation, Louise should make an appointment first through her secretary.
"I heard you're getting engaged soon ?" Louise answered Melvin's question with a question as well.
Melvin is crying "Yes". Of course Louise knows because her future fiance is Louise's own cousin.
"I congratulate you" said Louise
"Thank you." Melvin replied.
"So what do you want to talk to me about ?" ask Melvin again.
Really he didn't have much time to serve Louise if the man talked about the unimportant. Because there's something more important that Melvin has to take care of is seeing Mr. Abraham. Leon's got the old man's schedule. Only this afternoon the old man's schedule is empty and can be met because tomorrow and until the end of Sunday Mr. Abraham is busy.
"I know you were forced to get engaged to Eudora because of an arranged marriage" Louise said.
Melvin is not at all surprised if Louise finds out she was forced to accept this match because Eudora was also forced and maybe the woman had told Louise.
"Where are you going with Angel ?" Louise continued her sentence.
Melvin gasps to hear Louise ask about Angel. Melvin stared fixedly at Louise's eyes to find out exactly what the man wanted.
"I know you actually like that weird woman, don't you ?" Louise grinned at Melvin when she mentioned Angel's name.
"Then what does this have to do with you ?" ask Melvin cynically.
Melvin doesn't like it every time Louise calls Angel. I don't know what Louise and Angel have to do but Melvin feels Louise is a rival. This is what is called jealousy.
"Jawab my question honestly. Maybe I can help you" Louise said.
"thank you. But you better not interfere." Melvin was not interested.
He doesn't want Louise to help him. What does that man want to help ? help her escape this matchmaking or help find Angel.
Melvin got up from his seat wanting to leave immediately. Louise is wasting her time. But just a few steps back Louise's voice was heard.
"I can tell you where he is now."
Louise knows Melvin is desperate to find Angel and it works. Melvin turned to hear Louise.
Louise gives the code with her eyes to have Melvin sit in his place and Melvin complies just out of curiosity where Angel is. The two men continued their conversation.
Meanwhile at his residence, Eudora looks sad in his room. She saw her cell phone waiting for a message from the man she loved. Until now the man had done nothing to hinder his engagement that stayed counting the days.
Eudora felt her love was just clapping one hand. Eudora thought they loved each other in silence. They both never expressed love. But showing each other love and affection through attention.
A single tear ran down his cheek he just let it go. It was only by crying that Eudora was able to calm down. Eudora prefers to keep her own grief and will not tell anyone including her mommy.
