Ch. 50

Abraham took a long breath. I don't think he believes the new reality he knows tonight. Abraham still has not decided on Melvin's request for his blessing. This fact was so beyond his prediction that he did not have time to think about any decision.

The next day, Angel felt a different aura from the gaze of her parents.

"For mom, dad." said Angel to mom Sonia and dad Abraham who had already sat at the dinner table.

A few moments later Eudora came and joined her for breakfast. Angel also felt that Eudora was looking at him. But Angel did not want to be curious and asked. Or maybe it's just his feelings.

"So where's your decision ?" sonia asked Abraham after Angel and Eudora finished breakfast and left.

"You think ?" Abraham did not answer, but asked his wife.

"I'm actually grateful that Eudora didn't marry Melvin. Poor Eudora who always obeyed our wishes" said Sonia expressed feelings she had longed for since Abraham made the decision to replace Angel with Eudora.

"And as for Aurora, I agree to marry Melvin. Maybe they are fools. See, how far Aurora avoids, God keeps bringing them together." continued Sonia again.

"So you approved of their marriage ?" abraham asked a conclusion and Sonia quickly nodded.

In Sonia's view, Melvin was a kind and polite man. He believes Melvin will be a good husband and responsible for their first daughter.

At Melvin's parents' house.

After dinner Melvin sat down with his parents in the living room. Her grandmother and grandfather had already returned abroad.

"Have Mr Abraham contacted you ?" ask Abizar.

It's been three days since Melvin asked Abraham for his blessing and Abizar wanted to know how Abraham decided. Abizar knew Abraham as a strong and strong man. He was only worried that Abraham would not accept his son.

"Hopefully Mr. Abraham will bless your marriage." replied Abizar again.

"Melvin, why have you been keeping secrets about your marriage ?" ask Nia.

"Actually we were both not ready to get married, ma." Melvin answered honestly and he did not want to admit Angel as his wife because he did not love the woman and because of her strange appearance.

"So she asked me to keep this marriage a secret" Melvin continued.

Melvin told everyone about his relationship with Angel at dinner.

Today Melvin told Leon to cancel all his agenda from noon to afternoon. Because he had just received a message from Abraham who wanted to meet.

Melvin took a deep breath then exhaled her slowly to calm her rumbling chest. Never before had he been this nervous about meeting someone. Melvin is hopeful that Mr. Abraham will accept her and make his wait for Angel come to an end.

Abraham's assistant who had been waiting for Melvin's arrival then drove Melvin to his master's room.

"Good day, Lord Abraham." said Melvin, looking at Abraham who was sitting in his seat of greatness.

"Please sit down" said Abraham, inviting Melvin to sit down.

Abraham noticed Melvin's expression on the face, which remained calm even though he looked at her with an intimidating look. Wibawa as a CEO emanated clearly from the figure of the young man.

"Your marriage to my daughter is legally invalid." the first sentence Abraham said after Melvin sat down.

Melvin remained silent to listen to Abraham's next sentence. Actually Melvin also knew if legally their marriage is not legal because Angel uses a fake identity.
