Ch. 24

After a week of doing activities in the kitchen with Melvin, now Angel can make his own food and he is no longer stiff as when he first entered the kitchen. Melvin taught her a lot about cooking.

Melvin is back at his parents' house. My mom and dad came home from abroad a few days ago. Angel, who has become accustomed to the existence of Melvin, feels lost the figure of a man who became his interlocutor every night for two weeks.

But, on the one hand Angel also felt relieved because there was no Melvin in this apartment. Just him himself. So he can be free to be himself. Especially in dress. If it's outside he's probably used to the nerdy style. But inside the house Angel feels uncomfortable if you have to wear closed clothes. She is more comfortable wearing a mini dress or a spaghetti-styled t-shirt without subordinates.

Angel who was sitting alone suddenly remembered with Melvin who told him if his family wanted to match him with a woman. Angel thinks about their marriage. Although only married religiously but still they are married and have become husband and wife.

If Melvin marries the woman of his family's choice, they'll get a divorce and she'll become a widow.

"God, I never imagined being a widow." Angel held both of her cheeks imagining the status of the widow she would bear.

But he also felt a little relieved because until this moment he had not suffered any losses. No one knows if he is married to Melvin, except Leon and he also still has his crown. She is still a virgin so she can be confident to marry the man she loves one day.

Meanwhile, in a luxurious house owned by the Angel family. Her parents and sister are currently gathered in the living room.

Abraham looked seriously at his second daughter.

"Dady's gonna set you up with Melvin."

Just one sentence that came out of the father's mouth made Eudora surprised.

"Right, but until now we didn't know where your brother was" Abraham replied firmly.

Eudora lowered her head in order to hide her difficult-to-describe facial expression. His feelings were mixed now between anger, sadness and disappointment. Eudora wanted to refuse but the father's words were impossible to refute.

Unlike her brother, Aurora who has a dissident nature. That's why Aurora chose to live abroad with her uncle so that she did not need to obey the orders of her father. While Emilia has a submissive nature. He would follow whatever the words of his parents were even though it was something he did not like.

After a conversation with her parents, Eudora returns to her room leaving her mommy and dady in the room.

"Are you sure this plan will work ?" ask Sonia to her husband.

Sonia was still in doubt about Abraham's plans even though Abraham had explained all about them.

"Yes, I'm sure." replied Abraham confidently.

"But you know what Eudora looks like. He'll definitely obey all your orders even if he has to get hurt."

Sonia felt sorry for her second daughter who could not be herself because she was forced to obey all their wishes.

"You just calm down. I know what I'm doing. I also want to see our children live happily."

Abraham took Sonia into his arms to appease his wife. He kissed the gentle forehead of the wife he loved so much. As a husband and father, Abraham loved and cared for his wife and children.
