Ch. 48
After Eudora leaves, Angel returns to her room. He opened the contents of the paper bag given by Eudora earlier. What turns out is a necklace with a pendant shaped love with initials M in it.
M means Melvin. It's so romantic that Melvin didn't buy her a necklace with her initials.
Angel smiled bitterly realizing that the necklace was Melvin buying for Eudora. Not for him. Angel kept the necklace back in its place. Then he put it in the desk drawer along with a pile of chocolate and some other stuff.
The chocolates and items Melvin had brought for Eudora and Eudora always shared with him. Angel took it. But he never ate the chocolate or cursed the stuff.

Time keeps rolling. It has not been six months since Melvin and Eudora's engagement. The arrival of Adam's grandfather who suddenly asked for a wedding ceremony at the fast pace makes Melvin so distraught. Because he hasn't managed to get Angel. Despite asking Eudora for help to make Angel jealous for her to realize her feelings.
Yes, all this time Melvin and Eudora's affection just to heat up Angel only. And Melvin came to his house just to meet Angel. Not Eudora. Also, the items Melvin brought were actually for Angel and some of it was for Eudora as a reward for helping Melvin perform.
Melvin and Eudora's wedding plans were initially planned after Eudora's graduation was six months away. But Adam's grandfather asked to accelerate to two more months. After Eudora finished the exam.
Tonight Adam's grandfather invites Abraham's family to dinner at his daughter Melvin's parents' house.
"Aurora, aren't you ready yet ?" ask Mom Sonia who saw Angel who was still wearing a home dress.
"Where are you ready to go ?" ask Angel who does not know if they are invited to dinner at Melvin's house.
"Lho, we're .."
But Mom Sonia had not yet explained that Eudora had suddenly arrived.
"Sister Aurora doesn't want to come with mom." Eudora cut.
"Oh. Yes, already then. Mom will ask the waiter to prepare dinner for you" said Mom Sonia
He had ordered the waiter not to prepare dinner because tonight they and their family will have dinner at his prospective house.
"Where are you going ?" ask Angel curious.
"We invited Mr. Adam to dinner at your sister's prospective in-laws' house. You forgot ? eudora told you." replied Mom Sonia and then went to the kitchen to see the waiter.
Angel saw the back of Eudora who had now disappeared behind the main door. As she remembered, Eudora did not say anything to her about this dinner. Is it possible that Eudora deliberately didn't tell him because she didn't want him to come ? inner Angel.
At seven o'clock the night Abraham and his family except Angel had arrived at Abizar's house. Grandpa Adam was very enthusiastic to welcome his guests. He deliberately invited Abraham to dinner together at once to talk about the marriage of Melvin and Eudora who wanted to be accelerated.
"For what if their marriage is extended for two more months ?" grandpa Adam made his point. I can't wait to see Melvin get married.
Abraham saw his wife asking for an opinion. "I will follow your decision." replied Sonia.
Deep down Sonia disagrees with the marriage because Sonia knows Eudora likes Erland. But seeing Melvin is a good young man and also the relationship between the two are fine, Sonia finally agreed. Hope that Eudora can be happy with Melvin.
"Alright, I agree." replied Abraham.
Adam's grandfather was relieved that Abraham had agreed to hasten the wedding. Then Adam's grandfather looked towards Melvin. Melvin's face was not as usual. Melvin looks tense tonight.
"Where's Melvin, you ready ?" asked Grandpa Adam ignoring the expression of his granddaughter. Maybe Melvin was just nervous about meeting the family of his future wife.
"Sorry, cake. I can't continue this marriage" Melvin said confidently.
