Ch. 15

"WHAT ?" Angel is shocked when Erland tells of Abraham's arrival to London and meets him.

"Yes, he's asking about you" replied Erland, who is still in his house.

"God. You didn't say where I was, did you ?" ask Angel who's afraid that her father can find her.

"Of course not. Take it easy." Erland replied.

"But why did you say to Brother Lou ? yesterday I met him and he recognized me immediately" said Angel, who was upset with Erland.

The man promised not to tell anyone.

"I told Lou because he was on our side. Anyway can you keep a secret without telling him ?" reply Erland.

Angel confirmed what Erland said. They can't lie to Louise. Their brother is too good. But, Angel doesn't want to tell Louise about her marriage to Melvin.

After ending the conversation with Erland over the phone, now Angel's feelings become unpleasant. Angel feels strange because her Dady doesn't force Erland to tell her where she is. Angel was afraid maybe her Dady was up to something.

One month has passed. Angel has always been on alert since her conversation with Erland. Angel was afraid that her father could find her.

Angel rushed out of the company building when it was time to go home. He ran to a car that was waiting for him.

"What's up, brother ?" angel asked as soon as he got into the car where Louise was already there.

"I want to visit your place" replied Louise to the point.

"Yes, my goodness Lou." Angel shook her head in Louise's manner.

Angel did not not not know the intention of the arrival of her cousin's sister to the apartment. The man who was famous for his cold attitude turned out to be a possessive man. He wanted to make sure for himself how Angel lived. Whether it's worth it or not, it's safe or not.

The car driven by Louise's assistant stops at the basement of Angel's apartment. Louise and Angel get out of the car and walk towards the elevator to Angel's apartment unit on the tenth floor.

Melvin, who had been following Angel, clenched his hand when he saw Angel taking another man to his apartment. Actually Melvin wanted to follow but because the man who was with Angel was Louise Maxim, Melvin so undo his intentions. He doesn't want to get into trouble with Louise just because of an ugly woman like Angel.

It's up to them to do what. Melvin told himself not to care about Angel.

Meanwhile, Louise who had just stepped into the apartment immediately circulated her gaze through the entire apartment room where Angel lived. Not too big and not too fancy. But it's quite comfortable.

"Sit, brother. I'm fine living here." said Angel to convince Louise.

Then Angel walked to the kitchen that was integrated with the living room to get a drink from the refrigerator and put it on the table. Angel then sat her body on the sofa while opening a soft drink for her.

A few minutes later, Louise, who had finished inspecting some of the interior of this apartment, sat her body on the sofa opposite Angel.

Louise's arrival today is not just to see Angel's home, but there is something else she wants to talk about.

"You know who the guy you're gonna get married to is ?" louise asked after sipping her drink.

Angel simply shook her head to answer Louise's question. He was so lazy to find out who the man he was going to marry was. That's not important according to Angel. He would never accept anyone, either.

"Why ?" Angel asked why Louise asked that.

This was the second time his cousin asked about it.

"So Lou knows who Dady's choice is ?" ask Angel again.

Yeah, Louise already knows who that guy is because she's been figuring it out for herself and he came here to tell Angel. Angel would be surprised to find out.
