Darkened. Silent. Silent. Drowned. Drifting.
"Am I dead?" The question flashed through his mind as he felt his body stiffen.
He saw a woman smiling. He was astonished because he felt his eyes closed. That person was none other than Lumine, his mother.
"You are not yet here, my son," said the woman softly.
"Go away, someone who loves you misses you so much" he said.
Lucy scrunched her forehead confused. His mother smiled again, "You are indeed my most beautiful son. I love you always, "he said.
Suddenly his head felt heavy. The body can start moving even though a little sore each joint. He fumbled around and held his head.
"Miss, are you conscious? Can you hear my voice?!" screeched someone.
Lucy opened her eyes slowly. A beam of light makes glare. Apparently some witch was beside him.
They expect a response from Lucy. The witches continued to cast healing magic. Lucy feels herself lighter than ever.
"Am I not dead?" chirped Lucy.
"Of course not yet, miss! Miss managed to defeat the enemy and save one kingdom– no! One world, miss!" one of the witches who took care of Lucy.
The girl tried to change her position to sit back. He was still complete with his mother's robes. Even beside him were still spears from the tree of life.
"Where do you seem to have recovered. We were very worried because suddenly the lady brought out a lot of mana" said the witch.
Lucy knows what happened. Just a moment ago he was fighting a terrifying enemy. He himself had never imagined it before.
"Where is Ar– His Majesty the Emperor?" ask Lucy lirih.
"Ah, His Majesty the Emperor is not in the mood to be disturbed. His Majesty is on a hill near the empire," the witch replied hesitantly.
THE SRAKK!
Lucy suddenly moved from her seat. He immediately brought the spear of the tree of life with him. The witches were worried because the girl had not fully recovered.
"Miss should rest first! His Majesty is also not wanting to be disturbed," they said.
Lucy kept insisting, "Thank you for taking care of me. I have to see him," he concluded and left from there.
The drap! The drap! The drap!
"I have to see him!" his determination in heart.
The magical world is completely dark. The sky was black as night was reluctant to leave. Even the moon and stars drowned their light.
Even so, Lucy can still see around because of the help of which magic is flowing. His robe also shone brighter than the objects around him. Creatures with low mana dim their light.
"Is this all I've done?" he murmured as he remembered the mantra of the solar eclipse.
He lowered his head, "No, this is a risk to take out the monster!" disconnections.
I saw Venus from a distance. The man was full of mana which could make him visible in Lucy's eyes. It is he who has swallowed the dust of the stars that makes their mana shine.
"Is there nothing I can do to stop the effects of this spell?" thought Lucy.
He ran back until his breathing was puffing. The road is up and down and cold. He believes the people are struggling and hiding in their homes.
"It's too dark...!" inner Lucy.
The drap! The drap! The drap!
KLANG!
"Akh...!" He dropped the spear of the tree of life.
Lucy paused for a moment and took it. At that moment he felt a glimmer of light appear from another direction. Precisely on a hill with a tree that began to fall leaves.
"Arzen...?"
He ran back faster. The road up the hill did not dampen his determination to meet the man. The big wolf was injured all over his body.
Ohsh! Ohsh! Ohsh!
Crak...!
The girl used her spear as a stick. He decided to help him walk up the hill. Until finally he managed to reach the peak where Arzen was.
Suddenly star powder rained down on the dark sky of the Magical World. Now Lucy could clearly see the huge wolf before her. Arzen raised his head to stare at the leaves that were beginning to fall.
"Why don't you get treated and laze around here, Arzen?" scold Lucy from behind the man.
Arzen's ears are moving in response. He looked back and widened his eyes. "Lucy you're alive?" chirps.
Lucy narrowed her eyes, "Of course, you idiot!" upset mouth.
Arzen stared in disbelief. He thought all that came was the girl's spirit. He thought so because just a moment ago the girl closed her eyes unresponsive.
"You still.. akh...!" Arzen hissed in pain as he tried to stand up.
Apparently, the front leg to the back is still a lot of injuries. Moreover, the deep wound on the thigh of the man was very torturing for him to just stand up. He sat back down and made Lucy worried.
The girl immediately approached and rested beside Arzen. "What are you doing?! Look at you getting hurt but driving out the healers!" his nag.
"I'm no more important than you, Lucy," Arzen muttered.
Lucy didn't bully him. He immediately cast a healing spell and pointed it at the deep wound. Light magic began to treat from within.
"Don't let out any mana, you've just recovered Lucy" said Arzen.
Lucy snorted, "I can't believe the sick guy who told me that. Moreover, he was so stubborn like this!" said.
Arzen chuckled at hearing it. She smiled and let Lucy do what she wanted to do. He was even quicker to recover after his wound was healed by Lucy.
"It's over, but there's still a lot of it that hasn't healed yet" Lucy said, looking at the wound point on the wolf's body.
"I can do it myself" said Arzen.
He looked at Lucy, "Thank you" he muttered.
They fell silent again in the silence of the Magical World. Staring at each other on the beautiful sparkling netra. Silent gaze becomes a substitute for greeting when meeting.
"I'm sorry."
That speech that sparked drove out silence. Arzen lowered his head after saying so. While Lucy still stood by holding the spear of the tree of life.
"I'm sorry for this useless thing. It should be my responsibility but I gave it all to you" he said.
It was like avoiding Lucy's gaze. "I'm sorry I don't know anything about you. I'm honestly surprised to see you come up against Galven" he said.
He continued to curse himself during Lucy's war. Arzen feels like the most useless man on earth. Which man let his girl fight alone in the battlefield, he thought.
"Thank you for protecting the whole empire, no, you even protected this whole world" Arzen said sincerely.
This time he looked Lucy in the eye. The girl was also staring at him while listening to what Arzen was talking about. The wind blew flying the fine mane of the two.
"Are you afraid of me, Arzen?"
Both Arzen's eyeballs widened for a moment. He exhaled, "Very scared. I was so scared of losing you earlier," he said.
"When you're unconscious until your body is helpless. I was so scared that it happened. I'll never forgive myself until something terrible happens to you" she explained then glanced at the end of the sentence.
"Why would I disappear and walk away from you?" lucy's asking makes Arzen's heart melt.
"A–what do you mean, Lucy? It was an eternal nightmare for me. You didn't plan on doing it, did you...?" Arzen's tone sounded sad as if his heart was slashed.
Lucy breathed out. He walked a step two closer to the wolf. Staring at him fixedly and only finding unrest behind the twinkle of his club's eyes.
