Love Baby Wolf's
Black Emeralds Devil Eyes

"Miss Serena, what is the Black Emerald of the Devil's Eye?" lucy asked as she opened Venus's mail.

The two of them were in the room after receiving a letter from the battlefield. Serena is currently reading a book in the closet. Loofyn is playing a puzzle that Lucy takes to a magical world.

Serena turned, "Come. All I know so far is that it's a forbidden object" he replied.

Of course Lucy was not satisfied with such an answer. He was very curious why it could make the imperial army weaken. He exhaled tired and leaned against the dining table after reading the letter.

"I'm so tired of waiting here because I can't go anywhere like in the palace. Is there a library we can go to?" ask Lucy.

Serena seemed to remember something. But when he saw the book he held it seemed like the place was indeed in this tower. He called the maid and asked if the three of them could come out of the room and walk around inside the magic tower.

"Please, miss. I asked the tower leader. But the ladies are only allowed to go to the library" said the waiter.

Serena gave thanks. He thought he would die of boredom in this room. The three of them immediately prepared to descend towards the library.

Since Algre was still busy with research they were forced to descend the stairs manually. In the middle of the journey they took turns holding Loofyn. Serena walked in front, Lucy in the middle, and a servant behind them.

Finally after spending 1 hour more they have reached the bottom. The servant directly directed them towards the library. There they were served with small meals and tea.

"I thought we were going to pass out in the middle of the road" Serena told Lucy.

Now in the library there is no one but the three of them and also the library guards. So this time allowed a small child to enter because it will not disturb anyone. After resting, the two women began to search for the book they wanted.

"There are so many old books here" Lucy said.

Serena chimed in, "Of course. This is a magic tower that has existed for thousands of years," he said.

They were again busy looking for books on each shelf. Then bring some books that may be related to the reading table. Some of them allude to the issue of the covenant with the devil.

"It seems to be discussing the artifact," Lucy murmured and opened a book.

The book was all bright red. When he opened it was immediately greeted by a monstrous portrait painting. The girl almost threw the book on the floor so surprised.

She read it by herself because Serena was still busy looking for another book. Meanwhile Loofyn was taken care of by the waiter who had been with them. Lucy read it carefully.

– Black Emerald Devil Eyes –

This jet-black crystal stone is an ancient magic artifact that was discovered about 5000 years ago. The discoverer is one of the descendants of the legendary holy man whose existence is still unclear. From the name alone this stone is clearly dangerous, especially to fall into the hands of the wrong people.

Historically this stone was used for things that violated ethics. Like the example of reviving an army consisting of undead aka undead. Or it could also summon a hellish animal or demon itself.

According to some witches, this stone was discovered when the holy man defeated the Red Devil. He sealed the creature and got the black stone from its heart. Anyone who uses or even touches them will be punished.

It is said that there are people who use this forbidden artifact. After being caught the man was on his way to the empire to be put up in public. Then the emerald was returned to the great wizard to be kept in a place that only he and the holy man knew.

- notes out -

"Ah, I didn't find anything. Who is the legendary saint? Why not mention her name?" muttered.

Serena has returned from a book hunt. He looked at Lucy in wonder because the girl seemed to think hard. Then he walked closer to her.

"What are you thinking until your eyebrows are tied?" ask Serena.

Lucy answered honestly. Finally the two girls both sighed. It seems like this matter is at a dead end.

Lucy again thought hard about what she should do to be able to help the current empire. He did not want to be silent while waiting for unclear news. According to him it is better to jump into the area and then face the problem.

"Can I really do nothing?" muttered.

Serena looked at him worriedly. He himself could do nothing. His strength was not as great as those on the battlefield.

He was sad to feel he was in the same position as Lucy. Though both are not the type of women who like to wait or sit sweet without certainty. Lucy sipped her tea until it ran out.

"Miss Serena did you know anything about that holy man?" ask Lucy.

"Of course not. They buried the story and said that it was just a legend. I doubt her existence myself, too" said Serena in despair.

Both of them looked back on their heads on the table. Over time the tired eyes and body make them sleepy. Serena and Lucy fall asleep in the library.

I don't know why the air and atmosphere today is so cool. Very supportive for them to close their eyes. Even the waiter who took care of Loofyn slept beside the boy.

Suddenly the wind blows gently rubbing Lucy's cheek. The girl curved up because she slightly piqued her sleep. Then suddenly he dreamed he was somewhere he did not recognize.

The ground he was treading on was very soft like a cloud. But when he turned his head down there was a puddle of water that was very clear until it could reflect his shadow. And around it like a lush forest.

He can move freely even though he is confused about what to do. Lucy has not realized that she is dreaming. From the top of the pink-leafed tree came down a white-robed woman.

He looked up to see who was coming. Lucy wondered why she felt so familiar with the figure. The white-robed lady with a golden accent smiled at him.

He used his wand to land on the water. Right in front of Lucy who also set her foot on the water. They faced each other and stared fixed from eye to eye.

The woman tapped her wand into the water she was pouring. Instantly the scenery around turned into above the sky. No more leafy leaves or trees that stand firm.

Everything Lucy saw was a stretch of sky. The white cloud replaced the water that he had been exposed to earlier. Of course he was confused by what was going on.

"It feels mortal, doesn't it?" asked the white-robed woman with the golden accent.

Her black hair is just like Lucy's. But the bangs of his hair look disturbing because it blocks the forehead to the eyes. Her hair was just the length of her waist.

"Don't you want to say hello to your own mother, Lucy?"
