Teasing the Wrong People

"Because this project is a great success, I thank you for the participation and cooperation of all colleagues," said Sean who was greeted by a standing ovation from employees.

He held a small party at the office to celebrate the success of this time. Many of them congratulate each other. The cooperation of GX Company and LX Fashion was successful even until it received international awards.

Here Lucy, Sean, and Hera stand. They talked to each other about the project just now. The client was very satisfied and the investor began to grow.

"Miss Lucy thanks for the hard work" Sean said. Lucy bowed politely, "Thank you back, sir," he replied.

"He was going to the toilet" Lucy said.

While in the place where Arzen is now, a men's toilet. He finished his thing and changed. He got out of there and walked in a quiet corridor. The toilet is far from the show hall.

"Hm, is there alcohol at the party? Lucy can't drink it, "he thought.

Someone came from behind. Arzen did not initiate it and remained focused on his footsteps. He tried to button the button on his open arm.

"Excuse me," call the man behind Arzen.

He looked over and saw a woman in a red shirt with a black dress. For a moment he knew who was in front of him. Karen, the woman who always bothered her Lucy while in the office.

Arzen instantly shifted his gaze again. He looked at Karen and walked back. It's not Karen who just gave up after being ignored.

"That's arrogant!" his inner.

"Excuse me! Are you going to the event room too? May I come with you? My colleague has gone over—"

Arzen looked at him sharply, "Sorry, I don't know you. Go ahead," he said quickly.

He sighed as he had to give up for the sake of the woman. If he had gone first, Karen would have followed him and approached him. He already knew the bad habits of this woman.

"Does he like to spread skewed rumors?" thought.

"Why not just go together? While talking lightly maybe," said Karen.

He accidentally did not close two buttons on his shirt. It made her cleavage slightly exposed. In fact, he deliberately uses the interior with a gliter accent to make it shiny and attract attention.

Too bad, Arzen's not interested in anything but Lucy. He ignored it and stared at Karen. The woman looked at him with eyes made sad.

Arzen sighed, "Just go first. I don't like to walk with women other than my partner" he said firmly.

Karen smiled obliquely, "Are you going with Lucy?" The way she called Lucy's name made Arzen furious.

The woman walked over even intending to corner him. "Don't you know what rumors have been in the office all along about the woman?" whispered.

Arzen did not understand what the woman meant. More precisely what Karen wants by badmouthing Lucy. He was so ambitious that he struggled to make baseless rumors.

"Say, the CEO is here, you know," he added.

He advanced and almost stuck his body to Arzen. He deliberately lured the man to be tempted and attacked him. "If I can't get rid of you from Sean, I'll take the person you like" she thought of Lucy.

Unfortunately, he played the wrong game this time. He doesn't know who Arzen is and just treats him with the same trick. Arzen's countenance turned cold and stared in disdain at Karen.

He pushed the girl to stagger. "It looks like you're the wrong opponent this time, miss," Arzen said.

His aura made Karen tremble in horror. He suddenly felt a chill all over his body. Only this time did he get such a horrible look.

Moreover, the two gray netra of Arzen glittered. He could have attacked her with magic. Again he put Lucy first, he held back his lightning magic so he wouldn't point it at a human.

He looked at Karen as if he was going to eat her alive. "You know why I let you go until now? Why didn't I teach you a lesson when you spread that stupid rumor?"

"That's because Lucy asked me to let you go!"

Arzen threw out the shoulder he had scratched earlier. Karen almost fell for losing strongly to the man. Arzen turned away from there with a heart filled with anger.

"Take care of your attitude or you'll lose your current position" Arzen said and left.

It seemed like he was too angry until his hand unintentionally let out a lightning bolt. It doesn't matter if Karen realizes it or not. He told others that no one would believe.

He would be considered insane or drunk. Arzen is grateful in the human world creatures seem to be considered fiction. That means there will be no one to disturb let alone antagonize the magical world like hundreds of years ago.

In her place, Karen stood with a trembling body. He had not expected to get a gaze with such a powerful murderous aura. He lost before acting out his plan.

He was shocked to the inside. His breath was breathless when he was not running. Arzen would probably have killed him if he had acted earlier.

He admitted to losing. Although in his heart furious and upset because he could not get rid of Lucy. This day actually he was upset because Lucy was back familiar with Sean.

Already so he sees Lucy with someone more stunning than Sean. Apparently that person was Arzen whom he had just approached earlier. He is upset with Lucy being so easily surrounded by Sean and Arzen.

Even Sean did not glance at him at all even though he had already climbed one level higher. His hands clenched firmly as if preparing to punch a sack of samsak. She pulled her hair in frustration.

"Why is it just you...?! Though I've been trying while you're just hitchhiking!" his gerrymandering is Lucy.

He threw his foot on the floor. Unconscious of his behavior was recorded by a surveillance camera in one corner of the hallway. His actions brought the CCTV officers into shock together.

He was not even deterred and hurriedly chased after Arzen. The man had already arrived at the door of the room used for the party. Karen who was smiling enthusiastically faded back.

Before his eyes, Arzen embraced Lucy. What hurt him even more was when Sean smiled there. He was one step behind Lucy.

They looked happy, and it made Karen hurt. "I should have been there" he murmured indistinctly.

He shakes and whips. Though not sipping alcohol at all, but his steps like a drunk. He continues to curse Lucy in his heart and says that only he deserves to be among those people.
