Lucy put on a look of surprise when she saw Arzen who was quietly sitting on the sofa. The man just finished latching on to Loofyn. While he had just come out to buy less cooking ingredients.
Lucy washes vegetables, meat, and fish while occasionally looking back. He made sure that the man did not move for a while. Breathing through the air, Arzen decided to end his daydreaming session.
"What do you want to cook? It's still afternoon" Arzen said.
The man turned around and leaned his chin on the back of the sofa. Lucy paused for a moment, "I want to make a special menu. Fear will be long if you wait for the usual time," he replied.
"What's wrong? It's not usually a moody emperor like this" Lucy quipped by emphasizing the word 'emperor' in her sentence.
Arzen snorted, "Not moody...!" saith.
"If you're not moody better help me prepare the room!" lucy's orders.
Arzen again snorted at hearing it. He began to do what the girl told him. He started from carrying a basket of dirty clothes to the laundry room.
Afterwards, he took the clothes that had dried and brought them to Lucy's room. That girl will fold it later. The man flicked his finger and in an instant the floor became clean.
"You're using magic?" guess Lucy.
Arzen nodded, "Lazy," he said.
Even though he said so, Arzen seemed to have gotten used to human activities. He does cleaning and tidying things up even by complaining. It has been mixed up with human life.
"Ah, the table doesn't need to be set. Just turn it down and place it near the laundry room" Lucy interrupted when she saw Arzen about to tidy up the table.
"Decrease?" The man's eyebrows are linked.
"Not using magic, but put– ah, like this..." He showed how the large dining table could be small.
Lucy folded it until it fit into the laundry room. The man was stunned on the spot. His eyes slightly widened looking at the interesting thing before his eyes.
This was a new thing after a long time he had lived in the human world. He never knew Lucy's table could be folded like that.
"It's not magic?" ask Arzen. Lucy shook her head, "Not using magic at all" he said.
Arzen nodded. "Then how are we gonna have dinner tonight?"
Lucy smiled, "The staff was moved a little backwards from where it was. We'll use that low table" he said.
He installed a special tablecloth so that the electric pan and stove did not hit the table directly. The tablecloth is also wider so that the rest of the cloth dangles touching the floor. The girl put down the stove and some cutlery.
"You wake Loofyn, bathe him clean. I put the clothes in the room, '" said Lucy.
Arzen was back. It wakes up Loofyn immediately. Despite the drama of crying, the toddler began to calm down when bathing with warm water.
"Mom, Fyn andi...! Fyn anyway, Fyn yeh ain?" (Mama, Loofyn take a shower...! Fyn's clean, Fyn can play?)
Lucy shook her head, "No, Loofyn had been playing with me all day now it's time for dinner break" she said.
"Lucy cooked well" he added when he found out the boy was about to cry.
Here they are, at exactly 7pm in front of the television. Table with a tablecloth that also covers their feet warmly. On it was a stove and pot of pottery containing stew.
Two werewolves were sitting quietly while waiting for Lucy to finish. Their ears and tails seem to say that they are impatient. The woman placed her index finger on her lips and sat down beside them.
"Are you doing a birthday?" ask Arzen.
Lucy flicked her hand, "No, this is how I celebrate the turn of the year" she replied.
"By the way, my birthday is over" he added.
Arzen doesn't know about that, "When?"
"Mid of last year, five months ago exactly the 11th," said Lucy.
At that time Arzen and Loofyn had not come here. The man pursed his lips, he missed Lucy's birthday. The girl had just celebrated Loofyn's birthday.
"Today we're going to see a broadcast out there right now. Tonight there will be fireworks!" lucy said enthusiastically as she pressed the button of the television channel.
Arzen smiled faintly at Lucy's carefree look. Therefore, Loofyn was also happy to wag his tail with enthusiasm. The boy smiled broadly at the television show.
Blubub~ blubub~
He opened a pot of potted pot of stew. He's already preparing baby food for Loofyn. While he and Arzen will eat hot pot.
"It's spicy, you~" whispered Lucy.
Arzen doesn't have a problem with that. In fact, his sense of smell may be trained to smell sharp scents such as chili and pepper. He was also interested in eating foods that looked red.
"Humans eat hell?" arzen's chirp made Lucy laugh.
The hot pot is still boiling when it shrinks the fire. It was also a smoldering red, which Arzen deserved to call hell. Lucy shares it with Arzen and teaches him how to eat it.
"It's a typical food of the eastern continent. Have you been there before my house?" ask Lucy.
Arzen shook his head, "I don't think about traveling around the world because I'm worried about Loofyn," he said, then bribed a piece of boiled egg.
"Sedas, but delicious too," he muttered to make Lucy happy.
"Look, it's called fireworks." Lucy pointed towards the television that was displaying the live broadcast.
Loofyn was so happy that he jumped up and down. Ears and tails moving. Even laughs, almost unleashing his magic.
"Nearly enough.." - Hela Lucy.
"It's not magic either?" ask Arzen.
Lucy shook her head, "I don't know how they made it. But they are made of explosive elements. Like a special rock or sand," he explained.
"Stone and sand that exploded?" In Arzen's mind is an overflow of volcanoes in a magical world guarded by red dragons.
Lucy looked at him flatly, "I don't know what you're imagining. But I'm sure it's not like that" he said.
The two continued to eat until the pot was clean without waste. Loofyn's been lying on the couch since. She is clean and allowed to sleep by Lucy.
"Don't, I can eat it until it's full. Thank you, Lucy," Arzen said as she helped wash the dishes.
"Good, I don't think wolves can eat spices" Lucy said.
"I told you we're not vampires..."
They sat back on the sofa. Watch fireworks and count down the turn of the year. Next to Lucy, Arzen holds Loofyn to sleep comfortably.
"Is there fireworks in your world?" ask Lucy.
Arzen nodded, "When celebration is common. There is also one for war," he said.
"Ah.. war, of course," Inner Lucy.
"Did you also celebrate the turn of the year with a meal?" Arzen nodded, "It used to be very majestic when the previous emperor was still alive," he said slightly softly with a sad look.
Lucy felt herself talking wrongly. However, the man continues his story of the turn of the year in the magical world. More precisely what events are in the palace.
It is like reading a fiction story in person. Even today he still feels that Arzen is a fictional character. He smiled looking at the man.
"Well, maybe I've told you all," concluded Arzen.
Lucy nodded, "That's it, huh? So, you think that's less fancy, hm?" candelessly.
"It's not so, Lucy... here is no less fun, either" said Arzen half-murmuring.
Lucy made a nosy facial expression, "What? Don't listen, tuh!" goda.
Arzen hid a tinge of red on his face. "Ah, you're cheating on me again, huh?!" his grunts made the girl beside him laugh.
"Here you go, I'm sleepy!" Arzen switched topics.
Lucy patted him on the shoulder, "Then try leaning on my shoulder."
