The drap! The drap! The drap!
Brak!
"Are you here, Lucy?!"
Serena suddenly opens Lucy's room. It almost woke up the sleeping Loofyn. Lucky earplugs made by Lucy are useful.
Some time ago, Serena managed to be persuaded to save herself to the Magic Tower. He stayed downstairs when he first arrived. At that time his mentality was not stable and he chose to rest.
Then the day after that he got bored because there was nothing in the magic tower. He also could not carelessly play magic tools there. Even small mistakes can have fatal consequences.
That's why he can just sit on his bed. Lucy and Loofyn are also in the tower. Serena immediately rushed to change her clothes and looked for the two people.
Apparently they were in the other magic tower. The tower is taller than the main tower and contains only a staircase that circles up to the top and also contains a few special rooms. He had complained just by looking at the circle of stairs that were almost invisible to the end of it.
"I don't know how they got up there. Are humans really a hobby of going up and down stairs?!" his gerrick.
Algre said this tower was deliberately made so. Only certain people can enter it. And that person definitely had the permission of the empire.
Algre was busy and could not be asked for help to open direct access to the top of the tower. Inevitably, you have to spend the stairs manually. He's not as good as Arzen who can be as fast as lightning to open a portal.
Though not half gone but his breath was stingy. However, Serena did not give up. He stepped forward to meet his nephew.
She tote her dress so as not to bother her footsteps up the stairs. It took about an hour for Serena to get to the top. As soon as he arrived he immediately ran towards the door at the end of the hall.
"Meet! Hah, why are there only five rooms here," he said breathlessly.
Brak!
"Are you here, Lucy?!"
He opened the door impatiently. Serena almost broke the wooden door because she opened it violently. The girl in the room was shocked to look at him.
Lucy immediately welcomes Serena to go inside and sit on the sofa. He served water to drink because he knew the girl must be tired after climbing the stairs to get here. Unlike him who got to this room through a special gate.
"Miss why don't you just go through the special gate instead of climbing the stairs?" ask Lucy to worry.
Serena let out a tired sigh, "Huh, Algre can't be bothered. The old man was researching something with his students" he said.
Lucy immediately serves food for Serena. "Sorry, this is not as luxurious as being in the palace" he said.
"That's it, rather than not eating at all." Serena immediately devoured the bread until it ran out.
The two of them were silent even though Serena had finished her meal. Lucy sat staring at the window. He held his hand and looked outwards.
The sky he saw was bright. The valley of flowers she saw was indeed beautiful. But all of it was marred with a chaotic atmosphere outside the palace.
Lucy turned her head against the tower window. His mind floated thinking of the fate of Arzen who was fighting against the enemy. But here he cannot do much.
He was not a werewolf like them. He was also not a descendant of Elves who could use magic spells. He was just an ordinary man from the human world who did not know magic.
Lucy daydreams at the thought of it all alone since yesterday. He could not sleep because the noise of the cannon was heard to his room. He became agitated because he imagined how many victims had fallen.
Serena is also sitting in her seat. He hugged his knees occasionally moving to relax his stiff muscles. The woman glanced at a boy who was asleep on the bed.
"Has he been sleeping a long time?" ask Serena.
Lucy nodded, "Perhaps half an hour ago. I deliberately put her to bed so she wouldn't whine in fear" he said.
"Not what to talk about. Whispering I still hear. Loofyn's ear I protected with that cloth. I know how to make it while I'm in the human world" Lucy said.
Serena looked at the girl, "So, are you really a human from another world?"
Lucy nodded, "Right. I have no magic at all. I can't fight like your people" he said.
"But in my world there is no war like this. To be honest, the human world thinks you're hanua is just a fantasy fairy tale" he said.
Serena was stunned to hear it. If he was the one who used to be sure to curse Lucy. But things are changing now.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that." Serena nodded in understanding.
"It's good that we thought fairy tales. That means no humans will invade us" Serena said.
He looked at Lucy, "Then what about you? Do you think we're fantasies despite being here?" ask Serena.
Lucy sighed, "It's a lie that I didn't think that way before. I still didn't even expect to cross the portal and get here" he said.
The two girls throw questions and answers at each other. A lot of time is spent telling stories rather than feeling sadness and fear. Serena is feeling better than ever.
"How did you meet? I mean why would Loofyn be with you?" serena asked curiously.
Lucy herself did not know the beginning. He only took care of her when the boy came with the basket in front of his house. Serena felt her heart break hearing that.
"I'm sorry to you. I don't know what you've been through all this time and instead scold you without knowing anything" Serena said.
Lucy nodded and smiled gently. "What's wrong. If I were in your position, you might as well do the same," he said.
"That means you love Loofyn as much as you can," she said, making Serena blush.
"Ah, I'm sorry too. Loofyn keeps calling me mama when I'm not her. I can't forbid a child who needs a mother figure to stop calling me that" Lucy said.
Serena nodded, "I know. You must be very bothered taking care of the werewolf boy in a world that doesn't know werewolves" he said.
He glanced again, "Then how did you meet Arzen?"
Lucy told me back. How he was confused and surprised to faint to see the form of Arzen wolf. Serena was furious to hear it and cursed Arzen who carelessly acted.
"Basic! He is indeed...!"
Lucy laughed when she heard it. Then Serena asked again, "So, did you take it? Did you accept werewolves?"
Lucy nodded, "Why would I be here if I didn't accept it?" repelled.
"You're not afraid of werewolves? You're not afraid of Arzen?" flocked Serena.
Lucy shook her head again, "No. At first I was scared. But after living with him I knew what he was like" he said.
"She's so cool to take care of her son alone."
The deg!
Serena slightly turned her head around to hear it. His eyes dimmed again. He hid half his face.
"Lucy, Loofyn's not Arzen's real son."
