Love Baby Wolf's
The Early Years Tragedy

"Hm? Your shoulders will be small if I lean heavily" said Arzen.

Lucy shook her head, "Try it first" he urged.

The man, according to him, leaned slowly. It turned out to be as comfortable as it was leaning on the shoulders of others. He can relax tonight while watching the fireworks.

"How's it?"

Arzen nodded, "Hm, not bad either."

"Hey, what do you mean?! If it's convenient to say it honestly," lucy said and made the man smile.

"If it's like this I get sleepy" said the man. He repeatedly yawns to resist sleepiness.

"You want to go to bed now? I can move Loofyn to the room," Lucy asked.

Arzen shook his head, "Lazy is moving for now," he said.

He was already comfortable with the sitting position aware of it at this time. His back rested on the sofa and his head was on Lucy's little shoulder. Between his legs was Loofyn who was asleep.

"I've never sat in a position like this. If you recall, I almost never sat down because I had to lead the war" he said. Arzen started telling stories.

"Sitting quietly never let alone leaning on someone's shoulder like this" he said.

"It didn't cross my mind at all..."

Lucy who listened to that was sad. Behind his haughty demeanor, Arzen was just a lonely wolf. He was indeed surrounded by many soldiers, but they had no idea how vast the empty space in Arzen's heart was.

"You're showing a lot of new things, Lucy."

Lucy held onto her cheek which felt warm. The man knew how to break his heart. He could only dream in his silence.

It was late at night even the compact clock hand pointed at the number 12. The television screen was still broadcasting the peak of the turn of the year. While Arzen and Loofyn had fallen asleep, leaving Lucy who was silent staring blankly at the front.

Out there the noise of fireworks and the cheerful cheer of the people. Lucy's home remains calm and peaceful. Eventually, he decided to turn off the television and go to sleep.

"Don't leave me. Father, mother, brother, my people are all gone..."

Lucy abandoned her intention to stand up. He was surprised to hear the murmur just now. Both of Arzan's eyes were still closed, which meant that he was delirious.

Lucy thinks what Arzen thinks until carried away in a dream. He could see how tired he had been all along. His calm breath did not necessarily describe a calm soul and heart as well.

Lucy returned to her leaning position. He spread out the blanket on the sofa. Making sure he and the two wolves beside him stay warm all night.

Arzen's ear that hit his cheek he bent lethargic. The mouth may lie, but not the cupped ear. Lucy smiled as she gently massaged him.

"It's very soft." she said after the second time touching Arzen's ear.

After being satisfied to chew, he went to sleep leaning on the sofa. They sleep on a warm living room carpet. On a night full of noisy fireworks, they wander in dreamland.

It has been 3 days since the new year, Lucy returned to her initial routine. He began to work as usual from morning to evening. However, it did not seem to go well on the first day.

He was massaging his dizzy temples. Look at the pile of files early in the year that are mounting. It felt, he wanted to borrow Arzen fire magic to burn them all.

"Gosh, do I have to be late? Oh, it's not that bad" Lucy said when she saw her deadlines were still long.

He will work on it from a near deadline. Then sort it out and take it home to finish at home. All this time, his way has succeeded in facilitating his work.

He is anti-pursued deadline and lead to stress on holidays. Lucy got it all done, while today can be tomorrow is free. He is currently preparing to head to the 5th floor to file a report.

He did not know, someone was hiding behind a wall waiting for his arrival. A woman with long hair and a grin. He had a cold cup of coffee in his hand.

Bruk!

"Yeah...!"

Not Lucy who squealed, she was already falling on the floor. Crippling fear that the pile of documents about it. In front of him, a woman sat on the floor.

"You okay, Karen?" ask Lucy.

The one who hit her just now is Karen. Marketing staff at this office. The woman stared at Lucy.

Both became the center of attention of people who crowded. Lucy just realized her clothes were spilled by coffee. However, Karen was the most affected and the most severe, her shirt was white.

"I'm sorry, will I cu—"

Karen clucked in annoyance, "This Ouch~ is my new shirt! Well, it's bad when after this there's a meeting with a client...!" he said with a made-up nelangsa.

He hid his sneaky smile, "Aduh~ how is this? You should be careful, Miss Lucy. Look, your documents are affected." he jokes add to the drama.

People are not helping but observing them. Whispering each other scoffed at Lucy based on Karen's words. They didn't expect Lucy to be this lazy.

"I'm sorry, I'll clean and replace—"

"Ah~ even though this was bought by my girlfriend from abroad. Well, what if he finds out? This must be very expensive" Karen interrupted by emphasizing the word in the final sentence.

Lucy was trying to stay calm. He did not worry whether Karen just sit or really fall. Clearly, he had to apologize and take responsibility for the incident just now.

"Miss Karen, I'm sorry for this unintentional incident. I'll change the shirt and coffee, miss can give the shirt to me to clean" said Lucy.

Karen didn't take it so much attention to Lucy. "My mood is bad! Miss Lucy knew in a few minutes there would be a meeting with a client! Ah, fucked up already I can be fired~" He started to heat up the problem.

"I really don't know if there's a Miss Karen from the front. I'm sorry and will be in charge—"

"Why are you huddling at work?"

The voice silenced everyone there. Including Lucy and Karen, the difference is, Lucy does not grin. The one who came just now was Sean, the number one person in this office.

"Sir Sean, how's this? Miss Lucy bumped into me and spilled coffee on my new shirt. Though soon there was a meeting with a client, where I had to go home to change clothes.." Karen whine saw Sean up in front of them.

Lucy looked down as the man looked at her. "I've apologized to him, sir. I will also be responsible for changing his shirt" he said.

Karen snorted, "What about that?! Miss let those important documents?!"

Lucy looked up at him. It takes hours to complete 5 stack documents. His time and hard work were shattered in an instant by a coffee spill.

Sean saw the document was very important. Even the deadline is tomorrow morning. He exhaled, "Miss Lucy, I don't know why this could happen. Next time please be careful. Please go back to the room to replace the documents," he said firmly, he was like holding back anger and disappointment.

Karen held back her smile. Inwardly he screams in satisfaction seeing Lucy upset Sean. When the girl left, she put on her sad look again.

Sean looked at her fixedly, "Miss Karen should also be careful. Don't let it happen again. I would have someone buy a new miss shirt" he said no less emphatically.

Karen gritted her teeth. "T–but, sir...!"

"Already, back to work instead of crowding! Miss Karen didn't have to worry, the client just called the receptionist that they were coming a little late" Sean said.

He added, "There's still time for the lady to clean up and change into a tidier outfit" she said, then leave.

The girl was still standing there after everyone dispersed. Both of his hands were clenched firmly beside the body. Biting her lower lip became her hobby now.

"Q...!"
