"Come, eat first." Lucy thrusts a spoonful of porridge on Loofyn.
The baby devoured him immediately. He clapped his hands while smiling. Lucy was so gentle and patiently feeding Loofyn.
It's the third day after Loofyn was lying on his doorstep. He took care of the baby patiently. Although still 1 year old, Loofyn is not fussy like a baby in general.
Lucy breathed a sigh of relief. Since that day, there have been no symptoms of tantrums from Loofyn. When crying was not to disturb the next door neighbor.
All he bothers about is a full stomach and diapers. Every midnight, she is shocked by Loofyn's crying for her diaper. There is no time for Lucy to be upset, she is still confused by the reason the baby is in her house.
"Well, Loofyn's good at eating it voraciously."
He wiped away the rest of the porridge on Loofyn's cheek. The baby boy muttered cheerfully on his stool as Lucy cleaned the feeding area. He took Loofyn in to be replaced.
"How about we go to the park, hm?" Loofyn just squealed happily.
Lucy took it as an agreed answer as if the boy understood what he was saying. He was wearing a jacket because it was a little cooler than usual today. Though the sun shines very bright up there, but the wind is reluctant to warm.
He tucks into Loofyn's warm clothes before leaving the house. The baby was held in his chest clutched there in search of warmth. To be honest, this position makes Lucy amused because the baby continues to snort.
However, he tried to ignore it for the sake of Loofyn's convenience. As he once read on the internet, babies love to find comfort in their mothers. And Lucy was a temporary mother to Loofyn.
Clack!
He left after locking the door. The park isn't that far away, so Lucy's just walking. He was not wearing a bicycle because both hands held Loofyn in a sling.
"Loofyn happy?" ask Lucy.
Loofyn shook his body enthusiastically. In the eyes of people, they are like mother and child. No one knows the truth that Lucy 'adopted' while Loofyn.
Even while walking on a clear day, Lucy pondered. He thought and imagined what Loofyn's parents would look like. This baby is adorable.
"Is his father handsome? Or is her mother very beautiful? Well, why is it so funny...!" Lucy pinches gently both of Loofyn's cheeks.
The park in the residential complex was deserted. Only one or two children were playing in the sand. No parents were accompanying them.
Lucy chose to sit on the wrong bench. He released Loofyn from his arms. Loofyn, who was able to walk, began to show his talent.
"Mama!" Loofyn reached out her hand to Lucy.
"What's up, Loofyn? Loofyn found something?" tanyakanya.
The red flower petals were in Loofyn's tiny hands. Apparently he wanted to present a gift to Lucy. Those little flowers, Loofyn picked up from the bushes near them.
"Thank you" Lucy said with a warm smile.
Soon, the two children who had been playing with sand had gone home. Lucy and Loofyn live in the park. Only the two of them were with a cool breeze.
He let Loofyn sit on the ground playing with the flowers. Lucy watched him closely while sitting down. He took a deep breath and took it slow.
His eyes were indeed focused on Loofyn, but his mind was out of nowhere. The questions that have been piling up since that day are starting to pop up. One by one, they want to be noticed and answered.
How did the man abandon his baby in the cold middle of the night? What if he doesn't throw the trash out? Couldn't Loofyn be in danger from the cold?
In addition, he could be bombarded by neighbors the next day. He could be charged with child neglect. He did not imagine his day would begin with such an uproar.
"Huft... If your parents don't come after a week, I'm forced to leave you to the orphanage or daycare, '" he murmured.
Sometimes he breathes hard. Patiently waiting for the right time to appear. His gaze was fixed on the toddler who was playing flowers on the ground.
Grrroar...!
He snorted and growled. His sharp claws might be ready to tear apart anyone who becomes an enemy. The silvery fine mane was like a robe of pride. His ears stood upright ensuring he was able to hear distant sounds.
The gray eye bead was glittering sharp. He scratched the ground to take a start. When the two people in the park left and left the other two, he thought he was ready.
The drap! Srak!
The silver-haired wolf appeared quietly. Approaching the baby who is playing by himself. It makes a quiet movement.
His breath hit the baby's cheek. That made Loofyn look up. Surprisingly, he did not cry seeing a ferocious beast standing in front of him.
Loofyn even looks very happy as if he made a new friend. The wolf used its muzzle to touch Loofyn's cheek. At the same time, Lucy turns to what she sees in plain sight.
He would consider it a dream if he wanted to. Without a second thought, the girl immediately pulled Loofyn and led him away from the big wolf. Unfortunately, he had to fall and fall on the ground.
His hand held Loofyn, trying to protect the baby. "Ke–why are there wolves in the park?" panicked muttering.
The wolf looks unacceptable when its prey is captured. He lifted his chest with a little puffing. Those strong legs tread the ground as they stepped.
He stared intently at Loofyn who was in Lucy's arms. The girl tried to move aside until she touched the chair she was sitting in. His tongue was suddenly confused to scream for help.
"Father!" Loofyn screeched to make the wolf stop.
"Be–stop...! Ja–don't eat Loofyn, he's not tasty! Just eat me!" squeal Lucy.
After that, he really cursed himself. As if the mouth is talking when the whole body shakes violently. In his mind there was only a plan for how to keep Loofyn safe.
"Mama! Papa!"
Loofyn patted Lucy while the other hand pointed towards the wolf. The beast took a step back. He looks to be breathing.
"Give me back my son, man!"
Lucy widened her originally closed eyes. He did not hear wrong, the sound came from the wolf. There's no one else around but him and Loofyn.
"Didn't you hear? Give me back my son!"
This sentence is more strict and emphasis. Lucy looked up at the big wolf. He sharpened his gaze with remaining courage.
"Whatchu mean? You–you can talk, huh?!"
"really. Cut it off, leave Loofyn to me!"
Lucy clutches Loofyn tighter and tighter. "No! I don't know what kind of technology is being used to look after me. I'm not giving up this kid!" his screeches.
The silver-haired wolf could not help but endure his patience. He stomped his feet as the first warning. The surprised Lucy closed her eyes.
"Basic man! You'll regret not following my orders!"
THE PYASS! CRANGS!
