Heart Note

PART TWENTY ONE

The bell rings at three o'clock in the morning. I don't know who's coming to the house at this hour, I'm the one who just fell asleep immediately got up to open the door.

I hesitated to open the door, I was afraid that people would be mean to me, especially if I was alone at home, and I did not know where Mas Leo at this hour had not come home.

"Dye...Ayu... It's me Rangga, open the door" said someone out there who turned out to be Rangga.

I quickly opened the door. And it looks Rangga who is having trouble memapah Mas Leo.

"Why? Come on in" I opened the door wider, and closed it again when Rangga who had Mas Leo come in.

"Your husband is drunk, I met outside the ABC disco" she explained, laying Mas Leo on the couch.

To my surprise, this is the first time I've seen Mas Leo drunk.

I was still speechless and stood staring in disbelief at Mas Leo.

"You yourself from where late this is still out" I told Rangga.

"I was late at the office, accidentally seeing Leo who was very drunk outside the discotheque" he explained.

I went to the kitchen and gave Rangga a cup of coffee.

"Thank you" I said and sat down in front of Rangga, in the kitchen minibar.

"Sama-sama" said.

Rangga looked at me inside.

"What's wrong?" my many.

"You look thinner Ayu" he said still staring at my face.

I sat down and drank the coffee in my hand.

"You don't have to sacrifice a long way Ayu, you also need space to be happy, don't push" he said.

"I just..."

"No need for your son to be an excuse" he cut.

"He will understand Ayu, it will be more painful for him when he sees you and Leo are both tormented to live this household" he said.

"But..?"

"As long as you and Leo can cooperate in taking care of Rio, he won't lose the figure of an old man"

I hold back the pain.

"Are you not far from Leo?" rangga said making me raise my head to look into his eyes.

"To hear his voice I don't want to" I said disapproving of Rangga's words.

"Maybe, it's all without you knowing, you still love him" said Rangga.

"I was in a position like you Ayu, it was not a short time to forget the love and betrayal in the household" explained Rangga.

"I don't know" I said and drank a cup of coffee.

"Think more clearly, think for your future, all decisions are in your hands, you have to take a stand" said Rangga.

"I'm not trying to provoke you Ayu, but everything I say is nothing more than for your happiness and your future" he said again and drank my coffee.

I'm nodding.

"Thank you for all your attention Rangga" I smiled.

I'm speechless. Rangga was also silent.

"Then I say yes, it's almost dawn" he said.

"Yes" I replied.

I drove Rangga to the door.

And suddenly Rangga hugged me.

"Come to me if you need" he said.

"I'll always be there for you, like I used to be and always will be" he said, taking off a hug.

Body freezes.

"Jeeze" called.

"Yes?" my answer.

Rangga put his face close to mine.

My reflex closed my eyes.

But it all happened.

I quickly let go of the link.

Rangga and I were wrong.

"I'm sorry Ayu" he said.

"Yes, go home I don't want my neighbors to think no" I said.

Rangga passed to the car. I closed the door.

In the living room Mas Leo was still sleeping drunk. I left him alone.

Clean up my coffee and Rangga.

The morning.

I sat on the back porch. I was wrong to act like that to Rangga. I am still the wife of Leo. But maybe my face will meet red if you remember the incident between me and Rangga.

I was having breakfast with bread and my favorite chocolate jam did not forget the tea and the glass of water in front of me. Like the early mornings before, it would be more convenient if I had breakfast alone, together with Mas Leo would make my mood ugly in the morning.

Leo just woke up from his sleep after getting drunk last night. In a daze Mas Leo walked out of the living room.

I quickly cleaned my breakfast and washed the glasses and cups of my former breakfast.

Leo stood there, staring at me.

"Always in a hurry to see me" he said in a tangled state.

I just kept quiet. I want to keep my mood in order to stay good.

"I'm off to work" I told him.

"Who brought me home last night?" ask Leo to me.

I looked at him and left him.
