SECTION TEN

It has been three months, since his return from Yogya, Mas Leo is very busy. Depart in the morning, return home before Magrib and after dinner will go again until late.

I let out a long sigh hearing the statement from Yuni.

"I also didn't ask much about the condition of the employees at the office, because I thought it was okay. And I also think you guys must be busier as Mr. Leo told you" I explained.

"Because of that busyness, I so rarely talked with Leo, he always went at night teaching one of the students privately" I issued my grief during this time.

"Sorry Mom, but as long as I know, there have never been students who ask for a course privately especially at night" Yuni said.

"What about the seminars outside the city? His busyness taught 1 group of students who he himself became menthor in all classes?" I'm getting curious.

"Sorry Mom, when I was working last Mr. Leo filled out the seminar when Mom left for Singapore to accompany Mom's ailing parents and for the study group, she said, three months ago it was disbanded because there were only two students left, while the other students stopped because they did not like music" Yuni explained.

"I'm grateful to meet you here Yuni, I just thank you, I really don't know about the state of the office" I said and finished the coffee in the cup.

I smiled and nodded at Yuni's words.

After taking Yuni home, I continued my journey home. My heart felt even less good after hearing all of Yuni's explanations. I've been feeling like there's something Mas Leo's been hiding for the past few months. My mind is full of bad thoughts and questions that I do not know the answer to. I'll ask Leo all this. I'll ask Mas Leo to be frank with everything that's going on in the office.

I'm at home, Rio after coming home for a while, saying he wanted to go with Daffa and Mas Agung and Mbak Riska to see a basketball game where the eldest son of Mbak Riska became one of the players. While Mas Leo from the bagu had not come home, but now it was late afternoon.

I've called but Mas Leo's phone is very difficult to contact. I've called many times but still got no answer.

It's nine o'clock at night. I put a blanket to cover the body of Rio who was sleeping in his room. I tidied up his messy room. After that I turned off the lights and went towards my room after closing Rio's room quietly.

My eyes are still reluctant to be closed, Mas Leo has not yet come home. I read again the incoming message on Hpku. A message from Mas Leo, who asked me not to wait for him. Because there's work in the office that needs to be done tonight.

I don't know why I don't believe this message? I feel like Leo is lying to me. I'm not sure if Mas Leo is in the office right now.

To convince me, I tried to call Mas Leo's office phone number. I tried three times but there was no answer. This makes me even more convinced, if Mas Leo is not in the office for overtime.

I pretended to be asleep when I heard Mas Leo coming home and entering the room.

I heard Mas Leo's footsteps getting closer to me. I can feel Mas Leo crouching down looking at my sleeping face. Mas Leo stroked my cheek gently and kissed my forehead.

"I'm sorry baby." said Mas Leo, tidying up my hair that covered my face. After that I heard her step away towards the bathroom.
