Late in the afternoon Indi and Satria returned to her in-laws' house. Activities during the day are quite tired. However, Indi is still spirit and does not look lethargic.
"Assalamualaikum," said Indi and Satria entered the residence of Rama Bima and Bu Galuh.
"Waalaikumsalam," replied the couple. "Where have you been? Have you bought the Ice Ship yet?" ask Rama Bima.
"Already, Rama. Sorry, Indi had invited Mas Satria to stop by the house of Eyang and Bapak," he said.
Indi felt that long enough they were out of her in-laws' house. Therefore, Indi apologized and said that he had stopped by the house of Eyang and his father. At least by telling can make her in-laws understand her.
"Yes, it's okay Indi. We are in Solo. Stay here, right?" ask Rama Bima.
"Yes, Rama. We stayed overnight" Satria replied.
"Yes already, take a shower first. We'll have dinner together. Indi's mom wants to eat something?" ask Rama Bima again.
"Eat anything you want, Rama," he replied.
"We'll just eat Nasi Liwet, Rama. Mumpung Indi is in Solo," said Bu Galuh.
Rama Bima then nodded his head. The idea of his wife is considered good. Indeed, when in Solo like this it feels like to invite his son-in-law to take a culinary tour in Solo.
"Indi's mom tired first?" ask Miss Galuh again.
"Not tired, Mother," replied Indi.
Finally, Indi and Satria rest for a while before later invited to buy Nasi Liwet. The two changed their baths, Indi also collapsed for a moment in her husband's room. When his back hit the soft mattress it felt really good.
"Sweeting, Honey?" ask Satria.
"Not so, Mas. I just met the mattress. Where soft again," reply Indi.
Satria smiled, he let his wife rest for a while. Later if you have stayed to go to the Solo Baru area and buy the famous Nasi Liwet there. Until finally there was a knock on the door from Satria's room.
"Mas Satria, Madam Indi, let's go ...."
Sitha's voice called out to Mas and his Mama. The Sister-in-law whom Galuh's mother told her to call her sisters.
"Yes, Dik ...."
After that, Satria and Indi came out of his room and headed downstairs. This time it was Rama Bima who was driving his car. With Satria sitting next to Ramama. Behind him is Indi, Mrs Galuh, Sitha. The car driven by Rama Bima headed towards Solo Baru, passing through the city center. There are lanterns and miniatures of sleeping Buddha and Borobudur Temple Stupa in Plaza Balaikota Surakarta.
"What's this show, brother?" ask Indi to his Sister-in-law.
"It celebrated Vesak Day yesterday, Ma'am. Solo is a City of Tolerance in Indonesia. So, in Plaza Balaikota is always decorated on religious holidays. It used to be synonymous with Red Lanterns to celebrate Lunar because of the Chinatown area behind Gedhe Market. Now, the great day of all religions is celebrated Ma'am" Sitha replied.
"Yes, Ms. Indi. Yesterday Nyepi Day was in Solo it felt like kayaking in Bali. There are many jams in the corridor of this road. There is a people's Bazar as well" said Rama Bima.
Indi nodded his head. It was a good progress for his mother's hometown. Not just a cultured city, but a city of tolerance of all religions. Attractive to the people of Solo, even the people of immigrants as well.
"Good nggih, Rama," replied Indi.
"Yes, Mrs Indi. Solo is getting ahead. One decoration of this stupa from our Herbal Factory," said Rama pointed to a Stupa in the middle of the road.
Because the concept offered by business and religious people can also donate stupas as decorations on the road. So there are gold shops, paint shops, herbal medicine factories, to religious institutions that take part. Indi smiled at the name of his herbal medicine factory.
"According to celebrate Mbak Indi," replied Rama Bima.
Afterwards they headed to the Nasi Liwet stall which was held on the sidewalk on the side of the highway. Although on the side of the road, but this tent stall becomes a delicious culinary choice typical of Solo. Rama Bima and Bu Galuh ordered for his family.
Liwet rice is savory rice and served with pumpkin fried sambal vegetables, chicken suwiran, and boiled eggs. Nasi Liwet has been a typical culinary Solo from time to time. Sit on a mat and enjoy Rice Liwet and Warm Tea sugar cubes.
Until finally, Indi saw a seller Gandhos Rangin. An old man who carried his merchandise. Suddenly Indi wanted it, but the father had walked, then Indi said to the husband.
"Mas, I want that," said Indi.
"Where, Honey?"
"The Father who sold Gandos Rangin. Unfortunately his father was already on the road," said Indi.
Rama Bima also asked what Indi asked. "What Ma'am?" tanyakanya.
"Pengen Gandos Rangin's, Rama. Sorry, but the Father has gone" Indi replied.
Satria nodded slowly. "Wait here well, I'll catch up with the father who sold it."
Ma'am Galuh just smiled. When the wife craves, the husband's patience is tested. Will Satria pass the exam this time? However, seeing Satria walking and half walking after the Father who carried his merchandise was seen great affection from a husband to his pregnant wife. Walking after the seller was done Satria, although not easy.
While Satria himself did all that also for his wife and baby who are still in the womb. More than ten minutes Satria chase then managed to chase after the seller's father.
"Sir .. I want to buy his Gandos" said Satria gasping for breath as he walked briskly and half-run.
"They chased me?" ask the Father.
"Yes, Sir. From the Nasi Liwet stall there," Satria replied.
"Oh my goodness, far away, my dear," said the old father.
"For a pregnant wife, sir," Satria replied.
"Yes, just go there again, Mom."
"Eh, but far away, sir. Especially heavy selling."
Fortunately, the seller was kind and wanted to walk back to the Nasi Liwet stall. Untasteful Satria helped to carry the sale of his Father. The handsome man was now completely sweating. He felt strangely craving his wife.
From far away, Galuh laughed to see his son come back and help to carry the sale of his Father. In Ms Galuh's heart means that her son passed the test.
"Do you want Gandos Rangin?" ask the seller.
"Excite, Sir. One portion only," Indi replied.
Gandos Rangin itself is a traditional cake or snack in Solo. This food is made from glutinous flour and head. Have a savory taste. Even so, now it is difficult to find traditional food vendors. If there are some sellers already old and not in all places there are.
In front of Indi, the Father made Gandos Rangin directly. When served it is still hot. Rama Bima who is happy to ask permission to the owner of Nasi Liwet stall who wants Gandos Rangin can ask for free, all will be paid Rama Bima. The happiness of the Rama who will become Eyang soon.
So after Indi, many shop owners and sellers asked Gandos Rangin. Rama Bima paid for everything. Even Rama Bima gives more to the seller Gandos Rangin.
Although the cravings were strange, and Satria had to bathe in sweat but it paid off with many people who were happy when enjoying the traditional cake that is now so rare to find it. In addition, Satria was relieved to be able to give what his wife asked for.
