Forced to Marry a Teacher

Forced to Marry a Teacher
97. Very Suspicious

Astrid also looked confused by the attitude of the middle-aged man who was with Yeni. Astrid did think that the man who was with Yeni was his mistress, because visible from Yeni's expression when looking at Astrid, he looked surprised and frightened. But for some reason, with the man named Bima was not surprised or afraid when he knew that Astrid was the son-in-law of Adit. Wouldn't an affair be surprised and frightened if he was found to be together. He looked fine, even being friendly towards Astrid.

More and more customers are coming to the restaurant. Not wanting much pleasantries, Astrid again asked about the order to Bima and Yeni.

"So, does anyone want a message?"

"I order the best-selling drinks and food here" Bima replied with a smile.

"How about Ms. Yeni, is there anything you want to order?" ask Astrid back to her parents-in-law.

Yeni replied, without staring while folding her arms around her chest. "I ordered the same drink with him."

After taking notes, Astrid returns to the counter to give the notes to the chef. Then return to the table that Yeni and Bima sat on while carrying the order. As Astrid placed the order on the table, Yeni looked agitated. His seat was uncomfortable, and his voice seemed to be thinking of something.

Gelagat Yeni looked suspicious in Astrid's eyes, what else with Bima who seemed satisfied when looking at Yeni who seemed to feel agitated. Bima smiled grinningly looking at the wife of the rich businessman named Adit Sayuda. They had actually made Astrid very suspicious of their attitude.

"Good fun" Astrid said after placing an order owned by Bima and Yeni.

Suddenly Janus came to Astrid with an angry look on his face.

"Why are you here? Didn't I tell you to stay at the cashier's table" Janus said.

Astrid should keep a stand in front of all customers. Instead of having to make Janus angry in front of customers, Astrid just pulled Janus' arm towards the kitchen.

"You know, there are a lot of customers here. If you just stay at the checkout table without doing anything, what's the point of me going here" Astrid said.

"I told you to help Tika there" Janus said angrily.

"You told me to help Tika, but every time I serve customers at the cashier, you always threaten Tika. How I'm gonna help her."

"But Trid" said Janus who immediately cut off Astrid with his index finger on his lips. "Ssttt, don't be angry about this. You know a lot of customers came, if I didn't help Leon, customers would be disappointed. Because too long waiting for a service that only relies on one servant."

Janus shook his head, and he had to let his wife work. Customers keep coming to the restaurant. Afterwards, Janus returns to the kitchen, while Astrid returns to the front to serve the customers.

While serving customers, Astrid occasionally glanced towards Yeni and Bima. He still suspects his father-in-law. Until he can not focus on recording orders.

"Sorry, I forgot to record the order. Can you mention the order?" ask Astrid to the customer she serves.

"So I have mentioned the order, how the hell mba," replied the Customer annoyed.

Then Janus came back to his wife.

"Let me record the order, you sit next to Tika" Janus said, seizing the note held by Astrid.

Instead of complying, Astrid was silent while glancing at Yeni.

"Why are you still here? I told you to go to the cashier's table" Janus said in surprise.

"Whose Milky Way?" asked Janus who spontaneously just glanced at Astrid staring. "Isn't that why he met a man behind my father."

"In addition to her meeting the man, why did she give him a brown envelope that looked like there was money in it" Astrid said.

Janus immediately approached Yeni's desk.

"What's mom doing here with a guy?" ask Janus.

Yeni was immediately panicked after being approached by Janus.

"It's none of your business. Why are you here? Shouldn't you be at school?" asked Yeni with widened eyes looking at the child.

"I'm not working in school, because from today I will focus on working in restaurants" Janus replied.

Bima stood up from his seat. "It looks like you're Adit's son?"

"My son, why do you know?" ask Janus again.

Bima kept the brown envelope she held in her jacket pocket. He walked over to Janus, and took hold of his shoulder.

"Because you are so similar to him, so I can guess. Oh yes, please take good care of Bayu," said Bima, then he turned to look at Yeni. "This place is perfect for our next meeting. Two weeks later we meet at this place again." Bima went outwards.

Yeni stood up. "I don't want to see you in this place anymore" Yeni shouted with a look of fright.

Bima's steps stopped, and he turned back to look at Yeni. "If you don't want us to meet again here. You will suffer the consequences" threatened Bima.

Janus tilted his smile. "Is there anything I'm hiding, that makes you look so agitated."

"You don't have to interfere with my business." Yeni took his wallet in a bag, and then kept the one hundred thousand two-piece note on his desk. "Take the change, for a tip for you and your wife."

With a face that looks scared and agitated that looks agitated, Yeni rushed to leave the child's restaurant.

Janus furrowed his brows after Yeni left. He was also curious about the gurgles and the existence of Yeni with a middle-aged man in his restaurant. Janus, who never cared about what his mother did, now feels like finding out about his mother. To make him silently peck at where he stands, while drowning in his daydream.

Astrid approached her husband.

"Why are you still standing here? you should immediately prepare an order for the customer. About Leon, let me help you" Astrid slapped her shoulder while patting Janus' shoulder.

"And in the kitchen there's Deva, I'll help Leon here" Janus said.

"Customers keep coming. Deva will be in trouble if he has to cook himself in the kitchen. So let me serve with Leon. Let you help Deva in the kitchen" Astrid advises.

"All right, it's up to you. If you're tired, you just take a break" said Janus then immediately went to the kitchen.
