Forced to Marry a Teacher

Forced to Marry a Teacher
17. No Need to Know

For the second time Astrid slept in the same room with Janus. However, just as Astrid was about to go to sleep, Janus somehow took the medicine first. His body looked healthy and his face did not look pale. Astrid had read the writing on the medicine container, the writing looked foreign in Astrid's eyes.

Astrid asked Janus. "Why take medication? are you sick?"

"Hm, lnga. It's just a vitamin" replied Janus as he lay down on his bed.

Alprazolam's writing is clearly displayed in the container of the drug, making Astrid wonder with a drug called vitamin by Janus.

"I just found out there are vitamins like that" Astrid murmured in her heart. Astrid kept looking at the medicine container Janus had placed next to the sleeping lamp.

"Ah done. Mending sleep alone, why also think of the medicine he drank," muttered Astrid turned off the lights.

Not long after he fell asleep, Astrid was again awakened by the sound of Janus delirious. Janus is delirious in foreign languages that Astrid often hears when she is watching a Korean drama.

"Eomma gajima.

which keeps repeating.

(Mother don't go. Mother don't go).

Astrid turned on her night light. When the lights came on, Astrid looked at Janus who was asleep with a body flooded with sweat, and both corners of the eyes that were giving off water.

"Why the hell is he. Did he live too much of a drakor to dream," Astrid muttered down from her bed.

Janus seemed agitated, his brows frowned, and he continued to speak in Korean which Astrid herself did not know the meaning. Astrid wakes up Janus.

"Sister. brother Janus is awake" called Astrid, patting Janus on the cheek.

Janus awoke from his deep sleep. His breathing was as heavy as after running, Janus then wiped away the water flowing in both corners of his eyes.

"Get it, drink it." Astrid helps Janus drink the water Janus has provided beside the sleeping lamp.

"You've been using Korean. Must often watch drakor right, until the dream. Your chorea accents are very good and fluent, I'm the one who often watch drakor ga to speak Korean" said Astrid.

"You just sleep, don't talk much. It's a shame, tomorrow you have to wake up at dawn. Because tomorrow before leaving school, you have to clean up first and prepare breakfast," said Janus who again enveloped his body with a blanket.

"If you're not delirious, maybe I've slept well, since then" Astrid grumbled back to lie on her bed.

Astrid closed her eyes again, while Janus looked up at the ceiling. After he awoke, Janus had trouble falling back into a deep sleep. He looked agitated, repeatedly changing his sleeping position. Turn around from right side to left side. However, his attempt to close his eyes did not succeed in making him fall asleep. Friction of the blanket and the sound of Janus' body movements, Astrid woke up again from her sleep.

"You told me to get up at dawn, but you kept me awake. How do I want to sleep well if you're noisy" Astrid said.

Janus smiled as if he felt guilty for waking up his sleeping wife. "Sorry, I won't be noisy anymore. You go on to sleep."

Astrid breathed out, looking at Janus who was lying down facing her. The look on Janus's face was pale, cold sweat was still flooding his body, and the look on his face was agitated.

"Why look at me, instead of sleeping" Janus looked at Astrid.

"So you've had a nightmare, right? so now it is difficult to sleep" asked Astrid who was still staring at Janus's face.

"Well, that's how it is" replied Janus swallowing his saliva which then changed his sleeping position to be lying on his back to the ceiling in his room.

"I don't like watching Drakor."

"Keep why you are using Korean. All I know is that both of your parents are Indonesian, even your grandfather was Indonesian. In fact, you only studied in Indonesia. Who's the guy you call eomma?"

Janus again swallowed his saliva, he seemed agitated by the question posed by Astrid.

"There's something you don't need to know. About what I dreamed about and about who I mentioned when I was delirious. I don't like what you're asking. So stop asking about what I was dreaming about" replied Janus who seemed upset.

Astrid did not dwell on what Janus said. Because it's true, Astrid doesn't need to know more about Janus. Because his marriage was just a lie, just to please Baskara as his grandfather Janus. He was neither a special person for Janus nor an important person for Janus. She was just a fake wife.

Janus was still looking at the ceiling, he was drowning in his daydreams. Astrid closed her eyes again. However, he was unable to fall back asleep after waking up twice. Astrid opened her eyelids again and looked back at the dreamy Janus.

"You still can't sleep? want me to tell you something funny?" ask Astrid.

"No need," replied Janus with a flat expression.

"Maybe my story can put you to sleep. Since I can't sing melodiously, mending I tell you something so you can sleep."

"Hm, tell me that then."

Astrid starts telling stories, she tells something she thinks is funny. Yes, even for Janus the story told by his wife sounded crisp and boring. However, Astrid's story is able to make Janus feel calm. After he felt restless due to the nightmares that he had been sleeping.

After a few minutes of Astrid's story, Astrid's voice slowly began to shrink and her eyes began to feel heavy. "Then" said Astrid who immediately closed her eyes.

Janus was surprised by Astrid's voice which suddenly stopped. Janus then lay facing Astrid.

"She wanted to help me sleep, but she went to sleep first" murmured Janus smiling as if laughing at Astrid falling asleep.

At 05:00 Astrid was still sound asleep, while Janus woke up to the sound of an alarm. Janus soon awakens Astrid, who is dreaming on her pillow.

"Trid woke up this morning" said Janus patting Astrid on the cheek.

Janus repeatedly patted Astrid on the cheek, but Astrid did not wake up. As Astrid did not wake up, Janus left her room for the kitchen. Not for cooking he went to the kitchen. Instead of looking for something to hit.

Janus picked up the pot that was in the kitchen, then went back to the room and hit it as hard as he could. He made noise in his room so that Astrid would wake up from her deep sleep.

"Woy is awake" cried Janus.

Astrid opened her closed eyes.

"Arggghhh is still sleepy" said Astrid covering her face with a blanket.

As Astrid was unwilling to get up, Janus was getting harder and harder to hit the pot and point it at Astrid's ears.

"Wake up, it's late for school. Remember, before you go to school, you have to clean up and make breakfast."

"Yes, yes," said Astrid, opening her blanket.
